The Veterinarian's are all wonderful, the staff however has many issues. I called to make an appt today for my dog who was very ill and dying. after making an appt I received a call from Dr Healy saying they were not going to see my dying pet because I had expressed I was unhappy with their service At our last visit. In November we had to put another dog down. My husband went alone and they suggested doing all sorts of tests that amounted to over $600. while he did authorize them, the dog had been diagnosed with a tumor and only had a few months to live. They did all the testing and knew of her condtion. I truly believe they took advantage of him during a very stressful time. If the clinic felt we were no longer a good fit for their practice wouldn't it have been done prior to this event. No compassion for the dog. I had called to speak with Dr Healy and was told she would be in around 1:30 and she would call me back. I have yet to hear from her. Totally unprofessional and no compassion for our situation.

Took our sweet Marley in for some odd coughing and wheezing the other day and she was diagnosed with Bronchitis/Kennel Cough. We have no idea how she got it as she was up to date on shots and is never with other dogs other than her sister. They gave her fluids, did an x-ray to make sure it was not worse than suspected and medications for home. The following day, they texted to check in on her and it was so much appreciated. We finally found our home!!! Thank you so much for being such an amazing office!!

We recently moved away from the area, but we continue to take our dog to Amber Leaf because everyone there--from the front desk staff to the vets and vet techs--are amazing. Our German Shepherd mix Brimley was diagnosed with epilepsy about a year before we had to put her down. Throughout her treatment, Dr. Jason always thoroughly answered our questions and helped us make informed decisions about our dog's care and quality of life. He coordinated with specialists and often offered advice over the phone without requiring us to come in for an office visit. When we had to take our girl in for a cluster of uncontrollable seizures, they let us stay in an exam room for pretty much an entire day while we comforted our anxious dog. They laid blankets out, dimmed the lights, and played calming music. The front desk staff went above and beyond staying by our dog's side when we had to leave for a short break. We honestly can't thank them enough. Everyone collectively helped make our dog's last hours peaceful and pain free. Amber Leaf has the most compassionate people and the first thing we did when we got our new puppy was schedule an exam with Dr. Jason. We hope we never have to find care anywhere else.

If I was the one on the other end, I could have been having an emergency with my pet. But checking out was more important than that persons reasons for the call. Again! They need more training on how to be more professional, somethings shouldn't be said in front of a client.

He felt her and said she was filled with cancer. Of course we had to put her down. I took my dog in for a physical. They said he had high blood pressure and sold me medicine for it. I took him to 2 other vets and they found no high blood pressure. I'm glad I hadn't started the medicine. Recently my cat broke his hip. I drove here because because it was close and my cat was in pain. I got there at 7:50. There were people walking around in there and opened the door long enough to tell me they don't open until 8:00. I just stood there waiting and they let me in at 7:55. They told me the vets don't come in until 9:00. I could come back at 9:00 and see if there were any openings. If there were no openings I'd have to go elsewhere. I walked out knowing that I could make it to my usual vet (Wheaton Animal Hospital). 25 minutes later I walked in with my cat and he was immediately in with a vet. He did the necessary surgery and I was able to pick him up the next day.

This is an extremely difficult review to write…read more My fur baby (17, beagle) HATES going to the vet. He's always hesitant to be touched and normally screams while there. Since he's a senior and then some dog, most vets get impatient due to how anxious/stressed and painful he can be. This was not the case at Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital. The service from the front desk staff, vet techs, Tracy, and vets was 5 stars (from my husband, myself, and our fur baby). We were treated with empathy, patience, and the highest level of care. Henry (fur baby) was as comfortable as he could be throughout and he did not scream once. Kim (vet tech) and Dr. Sarah Morlock were thorough, patient, and kind. They answered any and all questions and provided estimates $$ throughout the process. Unfortunately my baby did not improve and that is not for lack of compassion or care from the staff. My sweetheart went to rest here and we were shown empathy and care. We were able to make Henry feel as comfortable as possible - we brought his bed, blanket, and listened to music the entire time. We were given some of his fur and a paw print as a keepsake. I decided to have Hengers cremated and received him within a week. I truly am grateful for the entire staff at Warrenville Grove. I HATE the previous vet (VCA Schaumburg) my baby went to and am extremely grateful Warrenville Grove Animal hospital made my entire family feel loved and cared for, especially my Henry. Extremely Unprofessional and Disturbing Experience. Would Not Recommend…read more I had the mobile vet come to my home on 5/28/2025 to examine my cat and take her blood for a necessary medication refill. This was not our usual mobile vet, as they are no longer available in our area, and unfortunately, the experience was disturbing from beginning to end. The day before the appointment, I asked if a vet tech would be coming along. In past visits, the tech has always been the one to handle tasks like weighing the cat, taking blood, and checking her eyes. I was told yes, but during the visit, after everything had already been done, the vet casually said it was the tech's first day with him. I don't understand why my request was even acknowledged if the tech wasn't properly trained. That alone was very unprofessional. What happened during the exam was far worse. I've never seen an animal handled the way my cat was. She was scruffed so tightly that she was screaming in pain, making sounds I've never heard from her before. She was poked over 20 times across four legs, which all had to be shaved. In all her previous vet visits, blood has never taken more than one or maybe even two attempts from a single leg. I repeatedly asked them not to hold her so hard, but my concerns were brushed off with half-hearted apologies while they continued handling her the same way. As a result, my cat was left with scabbing on all four legs and was clearly in pain and distress afterward. I believe this was due to poor technique and a lack of skill in accessing a vein. On top of that, my cat was not weighed at all. She is on thyroid medication that depends on accurate weight for proper dosing. Instead of weighing her, the vet asked me to estimate her weight, which is something I'm not qualified to do. It was careless and concerning that such a basic step was skipped. After the visit, I told the vet that what happened was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Rather than addressing my concerns, he dismissed them and insisted I was wrong in how I felt about the situation. To make everything even more uncomfortable, he asked to hug me at the end "because of the stress of the kitty." That request felt extremely inappropriate and left me feeling even more unsettled after what had just taken place. I was talked down to like I was some sort of child who can't handle their emotions. Truly disgusting. This was not just a disappointing visit. It was traumatizing to both me and my cat. She is still clearly shaken, in pain, and covered in scabs. I have never experienced anything like this with any vet before, and I hope this situation is reviewed. No pet should ever be treated this way. My cat is now passed and was taken care of by a mobile vet located in Plainfield to her very end. I would not wish my experience onto anyone else, especially now.
