My husband & I stopped in here on a whim looking for plain gold wedding bands. Jennifer was wonderful & very helpful! Living 5 hrs from our favorite jewelry store isn't the most convenient, but I think we found our new "close to home" one. We found our bands & I even got a beautiful Roberto Coin cross necklace. Is it pricey? sure- but I think it's fair from all the looking around we did. They even have an estate side where you can purchase traded in jewelry & there is some pretty cool pieces in there! All in all.... Great experience! Thanks, Jennifer ! read more

Wonderful experience! Jennifer was great to work worth from start to finish. Very welcoming which is a nice change from others around. Glad I found this place since my closest go to spot is over 4 hours away and buying online isn't a great idea when it comes to jewelry and high standards. We will be back! read more

Great people to work with. Shout out to Allison for making the experience worth the travel. We live in Charlotte but drive the hour and a half up to Winston for great service. Allison always takes care of me and my wife. We've purchased a couple of watches and jewelry pieces. She keeps an eye out for things I want on my list and pieces that complement my wife. read more

Nice staff, very helpful. They wrapped up the gift I purchased so it was very presentable.

I cannot get this place out of my head. I have taken two inherited rings here for repairs and cleaning. My first experience was wonderful and the rings were also stunning at each pick-up. However, the one thing I am unable to move past is the associate asking me if my grandmother's wedding ring is "real" when I took it in for cleaning. This second visit was vastly different from the first. It was made known I am not respected as a customer and that this is a highly unprofessional business. I should have walked out when the "realness" of the ring was condescendingly questioned as the woman peered over her glasses. However, I had been procrastinating this errand for some time. Rest assured, I will never return here again despite the beautiful rings that resulted from the jeweler's work. read more

We came in yesterday to see Christine. I damaged one of my diamonds a few months back. She helped me pick out a new diamond (bigger, of course!) and setting to upgrade my ring using two of my own diamonds. She wasn't in a hurry and guided me with great selections. I cannot wait to see the finished ring! Thank you Christine for your expertise. read more

Went to take a look at some watches, and received an uncanny, unblinking death stare from a salesperson who behaved like an alien wearing human skin. Some real *Get Out* material. Also, maybe I'm a touch too sensitive but I felt condescended to the whole time. I was really uncomfortable. Think I'm going to find a new jeweler. read more

If you want to buy an engagement ring from someone that looks like an eternal frat boy with the smallest selection of rings in Winston this is your place. Very pretentious feeling and only carry two collections of only mined diamonds which they will make you feel silly for even asking since their specialty is only mined diamonds. Similar experience to Laura if you don't walk in with your penny loafers and bow tie they look at you sideways. Would not recommend read more

Very friendly, helpful staff that make you feel like family. Above and beyond service and hospitality!

Update... three months after I wrote this review still trying to get my deposit back. Not sure if they are purposely trying to keep me from getting my money back or just incompetent. read more

Great experience to work with Christine at Schiffman's Winston Salem. I have found her very knowledgeable about the products and understands customers' needs and preferences. During each visit, Christine gave me the service that high-end retail stores need to offer customers options when shopping in luxury retail. Schiffman's has a good employee in Christine, and I will probably be seeing her again very soon for my next Rolex! read more

Went in with my husband to get a present for my birthday/push present. The first day we went the salesperson was friendly and helped us order what we were looking for. When we went back to pick up we stood there for five minutes before anyone would acknowledge us( there were people available to help but ignored us) we were dressed In workout clothes so I assume they thought we did not belong. Will not be back. Windsor is happy to help us dressed that way. read more

I had my Rolex serviced and Mindy was an absolute pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to extend amazing customer service. I highly recommend this store and Mindy's the best. Thank you, read more

Mimi X's review seems to be based on personal insecurities rather, than an acceptance of a business' preference to sell products worthy of their brand. I'm sorry, but if you don't like the fact that Whole Foods doesn't sell Oscar Meyer baloney, it doesn't mean Whole Foods is pretentious. They just think it's junk and won't put it on their shelves. Yes, there ARE well known brands like TAG Heuer and Baume & Mercier that, from a quality perspective, are mediocre. I wouldn't crucify a business based on their unwillingness to sell overly-produced watches. But just because something is well known, doesn't mean it is well MADE. My experience has been very different. I bought my first Rolex at Schiffman's thirteen years ago and have bought over twenty pieces since. Their customer service and loyalty is top notch. Their pricing is not only fair but competitive. Go and see Christine- she has a lot of experience with both watches and jewelry. They also have an in-house watchmaker that can service most brands. read more

We took my husband's Montblanc watch into Schiffman's for repairs. I believe that was in May. About 4 months later we were notified it was ready for pick up. The repair cost was $695. After a while my husband noticed the dial that lets you know how much energy you have left was not going to zero. We took it back for that. Several weeks later we picked it up again. Then a new issue was apparent. It was loosing 2 minutes time each day. We took it in again. Several weeks later we went to go pick it up and were told they couldn't get it to repeat the issue. Which is nonsense, because it still looses 2 minutes each day. With no resolution from them for our issues, we're forced to no longer use them as our preferred jewelers. A shame. read more

I went to this place and asked if they sold a specific brand of Swiss watch. They said they "used to, but stopped after discount stores started carrying them". You don't stop selling an item because there are knock-offs, or because the item is available on eBay or wherever else, for cheaper; you stop carrying an item when profits don't come in. Going by the former makes you pretentious and a wannabe elitist; furthermore, insulting your customers' taste is tacky and classless. I personally wouldn't go anywhere near this place with a 10-ft. pole. read more

Schiffman's is by far one of my best experiences when it comes to a full service jewelry store. Mike is so knowledgeable and he has a wonderful personality to boot. The over all staff is refreshing when it comes to those jewelry stores in the mall. Their selection of jewelry pieces fit the bill for what your looking to own for a lifetime. read more

I was looking for a chain to go along with a David Yurman Pendant I had purchased for a Christmas present. I stopped in their store on the way home from Atlanta, and talked with Caroline about a chain. She showed me a sterling chain that would match the pendant that looked even better than the Yurman chain. Since then, I have purchased wonderful items from Schiffman's, and now do all my jewelry shopping there. Yana, and Caroline have made jewelry selection affordable, intelligent, and rewarding all at the same time. As picky as I am about things, especially jewelry, they have won my loyalty and for good reason--THEY CARE! Stop by any of their locations, and you'll get the royal treatment. read more

I find everyone at Schiffman's to be friendly and helpful, even though I am known to mostly "visit" their expensive jewelry. The previous reviewer took umbrage from the comment that Schiffman's ceased to carry an item because it is sold at discount stores. It does not mean that the item is "tacky and classless" but that pragmatic customers would be more likely to buy it at the lower price I think it would be more insulting to presume that people would be willing to pay more just to have the Schiffman's label on the package or the bill!
