It looked attractive... We are reasonably new to where we live which is not far from this practice... So, I called to get some more information, particularly whether they accept our dental insurance... That call was at 1:30 this afternoon... The lady who answered said that the person who specializes in insurance questions was to lunch and would call back about 2:05... Precise answer... Good office structure... Specialist in insurance... Lunch time is certainly deserved... At 2:45 PM, I called back since they had not... "She's been on the phone continuously since she got back from lunch... You are next on her calls..." OK... I can handle that... It is now almost 5 PM... No call back until I asked them to check Yelp for this review... Please tell me why I would expect them to honor an appointment time any more than they will honor a call back time... If they had said that the person returns calls at the end of the work day, fine... I understand... If they said that they are so busy that it will be tomorrow morning, fine... I understand... But to offer not just a time, but a very precise time -- similar to an appointment -- and then not honor it is not acceptable... They should have saved the money they spent on those flyers...

Upon arrival to the office, we were greeted by Deanie's friendly smile. She got me checked in quickly and kept my murse-bearing husband company while I was taken back for X-rays, by Carol...who takes a fantastic full mouth set of films, quicker than Eastwood in an old western duel! Dr. Sands came in for the exam, and made me feel right at home with his wit and his exceptional chairside manner! We finished things off with a thorough cleaning from Kathy, who is a sweetheart. She kept my face and shirt from looking like a wasteland of calculus debris while polishing up the ol' choppers, which seems to be a lost art these days. I will be bringing my husband back in six months for both of our cleanings, so he can experience the awesome service I did this morning. They called the office to see if this was something they could repair in house and they told them they couldn't see him for a few weeks and that He needed an appointment in order to determine whether they could repair it or would need to send it out. Weeks??? They asked if they could bring it by and could he take a peek real quick to see if it was fixable so they could pursue other options. No. They refused to even try and help. They just didn't care. My sister was really upset but thanked them. They found another dentist who actually took the dentures to the lab himself and had them fixed within a few days. They now go to this office. My sister got a call from the old office trying to schedule a cleaning and she said they had gone elsewhere. She asked why. My sister asked if she wanted the truth. Yes she did. So she told the story and the person who called her got defensive and nasty. They STILL didn't care. So glad they went elsewhere.

It also makes me question whether it's all about making money. Going to the dentist already gives me a lot of anxiety, and I'm sure that's the case for many people. At the end of the day, I don't want a doctor who makes me feel like there is always something wrong with my teeth.
