This particular office is located on the Forbes Regional Medical Center campus in Monroeville. With me never being there, I just went in an entrance and asked where to go. The lady at the information desk was very helpful and knew exactly where I needed to go. Within a few minutes, I was there. This office needs some serious updating though. The wallpaper was peeling and stained in different areas. The lobby area was small and cramped, easily would be uncomfortable in here if more than five people were in here at once. This, my friends, was the only downside here. Once I filled out the appropriate forms, I was on my way. The staff at the desk and the nurses that took care of me while I was here were very kind and professional. The doctor also was very knowledgeable and didn't try to push anything on me that I didn't need. In fact, he wanted to give me a medication and once he saw I was hesitant, he decided that I could think about it and get back to him. All in all, I had an excellent experience here, and would gladly recommend it to anyone needing to see a specialist for their ENT needs.

This was a very easy procedure he probably could have done with his eyes closed however he still took time to come talk to me before and afterwards which I very much appreciated. I don't think we would have gotten such care and time at childrens where they probably would have had a resident or someone less skilled doing it. I had to endure 4 hours of testing for vertigo which is not fun and then I waited for another hour for him to see me. He was with me for 8 minutes. Yes you read that right!! EIGHT MINUTES! I have absolutely no complaints about the office staff and technicians. In fact I have praise for them, especially Tierney, Joe and Monica. They were lovely, gentle, patient, they explained everything about the tests. They were accommodating & supportive, knowledgeable and very professional. They were everything people who don't feel well would love to have at office appointments & in the hospital. Obviously I am not happy with my experience with Joseph Furman, MD PhD.

His testing technology for vestibular function and hearing is superior to other offices. I've visited similar doctors in Washington, DC, who pale in comparison. Dr. Furman was able to diagnose my condition in 1 day and get me into physical therapy that improved my quality of life. He even recommended me to other high-quality physicians for other medical problems that I was experiencing. Dr. Furman is caring and patient. He really listens. My son and I are part of the Zofran case...for those who are unaware, Zofran was prescribed to…read morepregnant women to combat morning sickness and caused a number of children, including my own, to suffer being born with a cleft lip, palate, or both. We first met Dr. Jabbour in the NICU of Magee Women's Hospital where I delivered my son (which was not Children's Hospital, where Dr. Jabbour is based out of) and from the very first meeting with us, he remembered details like our names, our son's exact condition, he recognized my grandfather, and it even turned out that he and our baby's PCP are friends from medical school and our PCP takes his own kids to see Dr. Jabbour. I'm not sure what more I can really say about him...he was professional every step of the way, he was gentle and kind with our baby, he gave us much needed confidence in his ability to "fix" our son and came through with flying colors. He has amazing bedside manner and whether he was dealing with dad and I or our son himself, he was always sweet, kind, and wonderful. Dr. Jabbour made what began as a terrifying and unexpected situation into something that my husband and I actually felt we could manage...and we did. On October 27th, Dr. Jabbour performed our son's furlough palate repair and did such an amazing job that we actually got to leave the hospital after only one night when 95% of patients sleep over for two nights. We have a follow-up on the 12th coming up and to be honest, I am a little sad that we won't be seeing him as part of our routine doctor visits anymore. On the other hand, I am eternally grateful to him for treating my son with such tender, loving care and I hope to never have to deal with an issue related to my son's (former) cleft palate. If you find yourself in need of a pediatric ENT doctor or have a child with a cleft lip or palate, I'd highly recommend requesting that Dr. Jabbour be part of your cleft team. He is a skilled surgeon, a kind and gentle man, and someone who truly excels at what he does...I know I could never do the job he does, but I hope that the gratefulness he receives from both parents and patients alike makes it that much more worthwhile to him. Earlier this week I had my first and last visit to the practice of Dr. Jason Luciano at his…read moreAspinwall PA Office. I was referred to him by my PCP to have a cyst removed. The procedure seemed to go well and I returned to my office. Once there I noticed that my back felt wet and, as you can see in the photo, the wound was leaking blood. I called Luciano's office and spoke with a nurse who I told I was back at the office and the wound needed attention. He suggested I get gauze and tape and apply it to the wound. I noted that I couldn't do it myself since the wound is on my back. What was I supposed to do? Strip to the waist and ask a colleague to do it? I then told the nurse I was immediately returning to Luciano's office. When I arrived the Physician's Assistant treated the wound and redressed it. I asked to speak with the doctor but was told he wasn't available and I could speak with the Office Manager. My conversation with her was, to put it mildly, highly unpleasant. I won't be returning to this doctor and I've made arrangements to have the sutures removed by my PCP.
