The check in was easy and receptionist was kind. The nurse who called me back was exceptional and calming. I forget her name but started with a C. She was patient, kind, intelligent, and had a warming sense of humor. The anesthesiology staff was great as well. All 3 of them were very receptive to my concerns and explained their entire process thoroughly. My doctor greeted and reviewed my procedure with me. Recovery nurse name started with a K and she also was very patient, empathetic and helpful. The entire staff was amazing. I'm glad I came here instead of outpatient at the hospital. Thank you!!!

This particular office is located on the Forbes Regional Medical Center campus in Monroeville. With me never being there, I just went in an entrance and asked where to go. The lady at the information desk was very helpful and knew exactly where I needed to go. Within a few minutes, I was there. This office needs some serious updating though. The wallpaper was peeling and stained in different areas. The lobby area was small and cramped, easily would be uncomfortable in here if more than five people were in here at once. This, my friends, was the only downside here. Once I filled out the appropriate forms, I was on my way. The staff at the desk and the nurses that took care of me while I was here were very kind and professional. The doctor also was very knowledgeable and didn't try to push anything on me that I didn't need. In fact, he wanted to give me a medication and once he saw I was hesitant, he decided that I could think about it and get back to him. All in all, I had an excellent experience here, and would gladly recommend it to anyone needing to see a specialist for their ENT needs.

I had to endure 4 hours of testing for vertigo which is not fun and then I waited for another hour for him to see me. He was with me for 8 minutes. Yes you read that right!! EIGHT MINUTES! I have absolutely no complaints about the office staff and technicians. In fact I have praise for them, especially Tierney, Joe and Monica. They were lovely, gentle, patient, they explained everything about the tests. They were accommodating & supportive, knowledgeable and very professional. They were everything people who don't feel well would love to have at office appointments & in the hospital. Obviously I am not happy with my experience with Joseph Furman, MD PhD.

His testing technology for vestibular function and hearing is superior to other offices. I've visited similar doctors in Washington, DC, who pale in comparison. Dr. Furman was able to diagnose my condition in 1 day and get me into physical therapy that improved my quality of life. He even recommended me to other high-quality physicians for other medical problems that I was experiencing. Dr. Furman is caring and patient. He really listens. I wish all doctors were as great at practicing medicine!

I am sure she is overwhelmed. It s a very high pressure job. She does her best. Dewayne is nothing but amazing. He is so kind and goes above and beyond when he did not have to. He spent his valuable time helping my husband Karl who is dealing with many many serious health issues. Even calling our home to see how he is doing. Thank you DeWayne. Dr. Linder we do not see often because we usually schedule with Theresa but know he is kept up to date. Drs. are very busy and Theresa gives more time. Maryanne is also very kind and sweet. They should all be proud. My husband said he would be in deep trouble if not for DeWayne and this office. Prayers for everyone there! Diane Meyer

You're never rushed and you are never dismissed when you have questions or need things explained. I love that he is one of the last independent doctors around. He is not beholden to any big medical here! You're always given a detailed summary after your appointment kind of like a chronological progress report. His office staff is kind and funny. When you commit to being his patient you are rewarded by the practice going the extra mile for you and I'm always amazed at the personal details he can remember mannnny months later. He is like an old fashioned doctor in that he ends up knowing you so well and doesn't focus on rushing you out in a 10 minute maximum, again because he is still an independent practice. He is compassionate but in your best interest most of all and he's always happy to explain the science or evidence for his decisions. He has been my PCP for over six years and I really appreciate his time and care. Really smart guy! Be aware that some times he can run pretty behind--- because he gives all his patients the time they need with him and doesn't just "finish and walk out". He's worth it!

They do offer some online scheduling and also by phone. It is a big office and quite busy. There are several different check in windows when you arrive. I do feel possibly a better screening process when calling to schedule. They scheduled me to see a PA (my regular doctor was on leave) and even the PA questioned why I was seeing him as there wasn't really anything he could do. I wound up having to schedule to see another doctor a few weeks later. The office seems to operate fairly efficiently. They usually send you for X-rays before seeing the actual doctor so that the doctor has already seen them before coming in to see you. They also have an orthotist in office to fit you with any braces or boots etc that are needed. My normal specialist here is Dr. Hasselman. He is great. Very thorough. Listens to concerns. Willing to think out of the box. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a foot/ankle specialist.
