It is really special to me that the plant lives as long as it can. The older man at the counter said, "Have you tried not worrying about it? It's going to do whatever it wants." That was his ONLY *advice*. I asked him about maybe adding a rooting agent and he said that was a good idea and then *instructed* me on how to use a rooting agent... incorrectly. If a plant isn't growing it's the environment that needs to change. You can't leave it up to the plant. This is basic gardening logic. I needed advice adjusting the environment -- soil, nutrients, a grow light -- not complete apathy. This garden center has the highest prices of any in the area, but I'd pay it for people who care and know what they're doing. I'm not paying $10 for rooting agent (which I already have) and an extra surcharge of the audacity.
