Our family was of course wearing our masks. A family in front of us walked in without masks and I asked an employee at customer service if they were enforcing their rules. I am pregnant so this is very much a concern. The lady responded "we haven't really confronted anyone not listening to our sign. Would you like me to?" I said "I mean, we are in a pandemic and it is a rule and you have signs so yes please." She went and confronted the family and pointed to me saying I was uncomfortable with them not wearing masks!! We left. I complained to corporate and they pretended to care for about 2 seconds saying I would hear back and they were looking into it. Just go to any other store or online retailer - target, Amazon, etc. they have you're looking for and put the safety of the customer first.

Its basically the same kind of store as party city, with the prices very similar if not a little saltier. My first problem here was right when we came in. I was looking for a shopping cart, after all,l I was shopping for the 3 of us, and when i asked this guy (Greg) if there was any shopping cart around he made a joke about it and did not answer my question, i still dont know if they have a shopping cart. So we all grabbed a basket each (making the whole experience unnecessarily uncomfortable) and proceeded to shopping. when finally done, we obviously wanted to try out the costumes to make sure it fits. There`s a sign on the fitting room stating that you have to ask an associate to use the fitting room. We went back to the front of the store to call someone, this girl came and helped us. Only then we were informed that we can only try on the vests, dresses, but not the accessories like the shoes, or gloves. They also wont let you touch it, as the associate handles the unpacking herself(little much?). This poor old lady (she must be 65yo) wanted to try on the gloves that went with her costume "my arms are a little big i need to know if its gonna fit" and the associate replied "I`m not supposed to open this but I guess I will let you try one on" This poor lady..the look in her face, senior citizen been treated with such disregard and disrespect... Anyways... The worst part is still to come..Went on to pay for my overpriced costumes, and GREG asked me "how much would you like to be donating today?" well greg that is quite an uncomfortable way of talking to people. You not really leaving people the option of saying no are you? That is borderline coercion and you should know better how to treat your clients as the fitting room lady pointed out, you`re the MANAGER! Well I answered. "no, thank you".. But Greg was not done...believe it or not he asked me:"well you wont donate not even a penny?" Now that wasn`t just uncomfortable, its just plain mean. I answered no again. I will never becoming back GREG, to ANY of spirit halloween stores because of you buddy. You make party city look good on the costumer service department, and that is quite an accomplishment :)

And I don't mean look at their website, I mean visit. I think for a place like this you have to visit and try items on in person. If you do have to watch a budget, you may wind up going to Spirit Halloween across the street, if it's open (seasonal). But you owe it to yourself to check this place out regardless. This place is the complete package. Don't let the entrance - a door on the back side of a strip mall - fool you. Inside is essentially a warehouse-sized costume supply store. There will be several people working at all times to assist you, dressing rooms, a rest room, etc. And by all means, ask questions and try things on first. You'll get the answers and help you need.

Was told when this booked that the bouncy house would be picked up the next day which was a Sunday , perfect because I don't want that behemoth sitting on my lawn for longer than 24 hours ! So when I didn't hear from them on Sunday I called and they told me it would be first thing Monday....ok ...not really acceptable but I understand. Now they are 2.5 miles away so when I called at 9:00 am Monday and the owner said they are on the way I say great . I did a couple of errands and came home around 10:15 to find their equipment still on my lawn . I called back and talked to the same "rude " so called 40 year in business owner to ask why it wasn't picked up yet and he went off on a tangent about this being the busiest weekend and 200 other customers and no help , and then went on and asked me if I was one of "those guys " who sat around and watched my lawn all day ! WTF ? Who does this guy think he is ? So .....I had to do a face to face with this arrogant so called business owner . Sure enough....just what I thought....jumped up in my face and proceeded to tell me I'ma "Kenny" .....ya know a male "Karen"....not once but at least five times ! He is a lucky man.... From the very beginning, the team was incredibly responsive and kind. I had messaged the store through Facebook ahead of time asking about specific dresses I'd seen on their social media, and every single time, I got a reply. No delays, no radio silence--just helpful, friendly responses. A couple of days before my appointment, I received an email from my consultant asking for photos of dresses I liked. We ended up having a back-and-forth conversation that lasted all afternoon, which made me feel so seen and heard before I even walked in the door. When I arrived, I was thrilled to find out that my consultant was Tenley--the same person I'd been messaging on Facebook and the one I'd seen featured in their posts. She was just as lovely in person as she'd been online. We browsed both the clearance and regular rooms, and as someone only interested in color (no white for me!), I was pleasantly surprised by how many gorgeous options I had--including black! Yes, black! Tenley was there every step of the way, helping me into each and every dress. She had a system--"dive, arms up, rotate!"--and honestly, it made the whole thing fun. I felt like a queen being styled for a royal ball. I didn't know at the time just how special this level of service was, but after visiting another salon that treated us... let's just say very differently, I now realize Tenley truly set the bar sky-high--for both me and my mom. That care, attention, and energy? Unmatched. The second dress I tried on that day became the one to beat at all my other appointments. And although I did end up finding "the one" somewhere else, that second dress lived in my mind as the gold standard--and if I hadn't found my dress, I would've absolutely come back for it. I absolutely loved my experience here. Tenley was phenomenal, the dress selection was amazing, and I left feeling beautiful and empowered. I would 1000% recommend Marry and Tux to any bride-to-be.

Just about every other store gives you until the end of January- but not the Paper Store. Even when I asked if they could make an exception here - they told me 'No'. That example, along with others, has helped me make up my mind that they prefer to nickel and dime the customer for the short run, rather than keep happy customer's coming back to the store. No customer service- then no customer. They just lost another customer - for life - with me. Too bad really.

I have also purchased frames here for my diplomas and there is a decent selection of frames, with a bunch of different sizes. Even though the paper sizes on my documents I wanted framed was weird, I managed to find good frames for all of them. The staff in my experience have all bee nice and polite, however I haven't really interacted much with staff as usually when I go here, I know what I'm looking for and where to go. Unfortunately some of the stuff that gets shoplifted often is locked up, and while I understand that, it makes it harder to choose which ones I want to get. It makes it easier to choose when I can easily hold them in my hands, and it being locked up makes it harder to decide if I actually want it. Not sure why but it does and that's the only thing here that I've ever had any trouble with though. Overall a good shop for art supplies, it's my favorite place to go as an avid author and illustrator. And as far as I've seen, the prices are very reasonable, probably as good as they come.
