This review is way overdue as the work was done one year ago. But now I can provide current pictures to show how great it still looks . I had Scape Aesthetics completely re-landscape my front yard in a Mid Century, Palm Springs type design (mine). They removed all the ancient vegetation and lawn and replaced the sprinkler system with a drip system, then installed the plantings exactly as I envisioned. The project took a few days longer than expected due to the unforeseen plumbing issues they encountered. The property is almost 60 years old with several owners so surprises popped up regularly like discovering 13 different sprinkler risers on two different systems. The guys pressed through in the awful heat, (triple digits the whole time). I've never seen people work harder. Temi made sure my design was interpreted to a tee. It came out awesome and I get complements daily. The solar lighting and rock garden is my work and still in progress. I should mention that I did get several bids before choosing Temi. He wasn't the cheapest but he was the one who saw my vision and didn't try to talk me into what he thought what would look good. The others wanted to put in dry creek beds. A few tips when working with Temi, put any changes made after the initial contract in writing. Temi is a high energy guy and can be hard to pin down sometimes but he definitely takes pride in his work and wants things done "perfectly". I'm definitely hiring him to do some additions. read more

I really really hate writing negative reviews, but this young man did not finish the job that I paid him for. The delay, he said, was caused by a demanding job and he promished to get back to me as soon as he finished it. I believed him. The first several time he used the pending or the actual rain as an excuse. I said okay. The last time he called and asked if I was home and I answered "yes, where are you", he hung up on me and I've not heard from him since. To be fair, he installed the faucet that I asked him to, but did not replace the spinkler heads, tubing, or the new meter that I purchased for the job -- he said he would charge for that later and left one of his, which stopped working soon afterwards. read more

The job was to repair a broken drip line hose and an underground pipe leak associated with the drip irrigation system. I appreciated the free estimate, which included a fair amount of digging to uncover the problem. The estimate was reasonable and Temi was available to do the work right away. As Temi got further into the job, he found tree roots and additional piping issues which resulted in an estimate increase but still a fair price. After looking at the piping, I agreed with the new estimate and he continued the project for several hours. Afterwards, he demonstrated to me that everything was working. I hired Temi to do some work in my backyard. One of the tasks was to remove grass and stepping stones and to install new granite stones and river rocks, as well as to add edging board. This work was completed not to expectation and ultimately ended up being difficult to walk on (I literally almost tripped a few times). Very small stepping stones were installed with too many river rocks, all very unlevel and the rocks would fall onto the stones. Temi indicated before he left (after completing the job) that he would come back and make adjustments, as I needed. Temi and I spoke about it a few weeks later and agreed to a solution (by then an additional issue came up: the edging board was warping). He said he would call me back after he checked his schedule with a date for the work completion (I asked him to complete it by a certain date). I had not heard from him 3 weeks later so I texted him twice and left him a voicemail over a 2 week period. I have never heard back from him. I ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY ANOTHER COMPANY TO FIX TEMI'S NEGLIGENCE. read more

My backyard was flooding and pooling with water in certain areas. My lawn slopes down and I have several trees with roots that had apparently broken several sprinklers. I had a feeling that some of my sprinklers were broken but because one area of my lawn was super muddy and other areas weren't, I thought aerating my lawn made sense. I submitted a request through Yelp to get quotes and Temi responded to me almost immediately. I appreciate a prompt response, and he was on it. Not only is his response time amazing, he was able to fit me in within a few days of me first reaching out. He worked around his schedule to help a single mama out, and I most definitely appreciated that. When he arrived, Temi and team began with the aeration. They did a great job. Then, Temi even offered to help me reset my sprinkler system as he had a hunch I was having my lawn watered too often. He adjusted accordingly. Afterwards, Temi and team began to check all my sprinklers for any broken ones. He found three and replaced all three. For two of them, he had to dig to even get to them. One of my tree roots had broken one and it was pretty deep in there. After that, he turned on the last system and noticed more puddling coming out my rocks near my flowers and bushes. He had already spent 1.5 hours at my house and wasn't expecting that at all, as he the project was solely to aerate my lawn. He apologized for not being able to get to the final, broken sprinkler but I completely understood. I will definitely be calling Temi back to fix that final sprinkler and any other drain/pipe issues I may have going on. Throughout the entire process, he explained what he was doing and again, went way above and beyond! Very good guy and very knowledgeable when it comes to landscaping and sprinkler/pipe/drain issues.
