We stayed 3 nights while visiting Stockholm. The hotel is…read moreelegant. The staff is nice and accommodating. The train is walkable, but Ubers are quick and inexpensive. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. The fireplace was a nice place to gather and talk with our family.

Lots and lots of choices including breads, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon among many others. There is also a restaurant called Sothi's Kitchen which I will also review here as YELP does not list it separately. I ordered a very nice dinner and lunch: Caesar Salad with chicken and Haloumi cheese a favorite cheese of mine. I also ordered the Risotto with haloumi for dinner and that was a tad on the salty side. The avocado was very nice with a marinated egg on top. The hotel is well situated to access a lot of downtown Stolkholm, buses and Ubers are plentiful. The hotel was very reasonably priced along with the food offered at the restaurants. The beautiful breakfast buffet is included in the price of the room. My only negative comment was the bath tub was quite narrow, and very slippery. Difficult to maneuver for someone tall like I am. I mentioned this to the front desk and they reported many people have commented about this concern. Yes, so what are you doing about it? Maybe some bathtub mats are in order as one of the people in our group fell getting out. In America they would have been sued already, let's hope they remedy it soon to make this the perfect place to stay while vacationing in Stolkholm. Did I mention we were a group of over 50, and the staff checked us in and out quite efficiently. Even provided a take away breakfast for our early flight. Very nice Courtyard Marriot.

Really, really lovely hotel, looks newly built, so everything is modern, from the design to the…read morespaciousness, to the number of electrical outlets, including an outlet near each bed, with a small nightstand to put your phone, etc. A nice workspace/desk with chair also included. My only complaint was the lack of clothing drawers, and minimal closet space. Like, there was maybe 5 hangers with maybe 1 foot/25cm of width to hang clothes, and no luggage rack. That said, these were minor issues, and between the desk, and other surfaces, where was room to put our stuff out without putting it on the floor. The breakfast on the fourth floor every morning is fantastic. Not sure if every Swedish hotel does this or what, but there were multiple buffet stations, with every from eggs+bacon+pancakes, to a yogurt station, to an entire table of bread + butter, with multiple juices/coffee options, a separate fruit station, and the list goes on and on and on. The location is excellent if you want to go to the Friends Arena, or the Mall of Scandinavia (with lots of food options, both fast or sit-down, all of which are within easy walking distance. The Solna station (Pendeltag/commuter train system) is about a 12-15 minute walk away. Tip: Ignore Google Maps and walk through the Mall to get to the hotel if it's very cold outside. Bathrooms: They are bougie, with a nice design aesthetic, with plenty of bathroom countertop space to place things. Not sure what the other review was talking about with the shower compartment not being completely enclosed; our shower had a glass door, and minimal water spilled into the room. Oh oh! The flowers are heated! So nice.

It's also conveniently located next to public transport and my office. Rooms are nice with views specially on the upper floors. It's a very tall hotel with 25 floors. The only drawback is the absolute lack of closet space and the shower enclosure with nothing to stop water from splashing all over the bathroom floor. Staff are nice and there are restaurants on the 4th and 25th floor. I did not go to the 25th floor restaurant but did have breakfast at the other restaurant. As breakfast is always included get to the breakfast restaurant soon as it's a zoo after about 8am. Food is ok nothing special. I am sure I will be back here again. It's one of a handful of hotels close to my office in the area.

I have found that many fancy hotels put most of their money into how the lobby looks, but the guest…read morerooms are neglected. This is not the case at all in this hotel. The entry way to the hotel is stunning with a sweeping circular staircase, which is dramatic, but perhaps a bit scary for some people. large windows and a modern appearance made for an inviting welcome. As impressed as I was with the lobby, I was more impressed with the actual room, which was spacious and actually had room to unpack and store items. I loved the wood design (see photos) and the overall appearance of the room looked very Scandinavian. As noted by other reviewers, there is a hidden closet near the bathroom (which is also a bit hidden). The door swings out to reveal a hanging closet and a couple of storage drawers). The location of the hotel is perfect because it's very near the waterfront and very close to the old city. The access to restaurants and shops is close enough that you can walk anywhere. The included breakfast buffet was excellent with an egg station that made some of the best omelets I've ever tasted. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

Nestled near the Slussen metro station, the hotel offers stunning views of Gamla Stan and Riddarfjärden, making it a perfect spot for exploring Stockholm's historic charm and Södermalm's trendy scene. Check-in was smooth, with the staff warmly acknowledging my Diamond status. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a comfy bed and those iconic floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the waterfront. But let's talk about the design since nothing in this hotel is quite what you'd expect! Downstairs, the lobby and public areas are a maze of curves, with hardly a straight line in sight. It's like walking through a piece of modern art, which adds a fun, quirky charm to the experience. The room itself felt like a Jenga puzzle brought to life. The closets had an unusual, almost playful layout that made unpacking an adventure. The bathroom was anything but boring as its bold, unconventional design stood out with creative fixtures and a layout that kept things interesting. While the quirky aesthetics were memorable, they might not suit everyone's taste if you prefer straightforward functionality. The Diamond breakfast was a highlight, served in a bright space with a jaw-dropping view of the water and Gamla Stan. The buffet was fantastic, offering everything from fresh pastries and fruits to hot dishes and Swedish specialties like herring. The executive lounge, another great perk for those with access, was a stylish haven with tasty snacks, drinks, and that same gorgeous view. It was perfect for unwinding or catching up on work. The bar was a great spot for an evening drink, and the hotel's location made exploring nearby attractions a breeze. My only minor gripe was occasional Wi-Fi hiccups, but they didn't overshadow the stay. The gym and sauna looked nice, though I didn't get a chance to use them. For Hilton Diamond members, the breakfast and lounge perks elevate this hotel, and its bold design adds character you won't forget. The Hilton Stockholm Slussen is a fantastic choice for a unique, comfortable stay just be ready for some architectural surprises! I'd recommend it and would return, though I docked a star for the slightly impractical room layout.

Also, it is literally right next door to the Rådhuset T-Bane stop. The lobby is gorgeous, and attracts cool people to its hotel bar. The service at the front desk was helpful and friendly, and they made me feel right at home. The double rooms are small by American standards, but about average for European hotels. Everything looked clean with elegant lines, and was pretty much everything I needed. I checked out the workout room and the pool - the gym was ok with decent machines, but the pool was a bit small. You definitely wouldn't feel comfortable sharing it with another family, but would be lovely if you had it all to yourself. The breakfast buffet was large with a lot of variety, and the front desk helpfully warned us to stay away from 9-10, as this is the time that most of the boat tourists come to breakfast. Outside those hours, there is plenty of room and food.

It was decorated very playfully with lots of colors. There was a wall just of mirrors. It contained many seating areas including benches with tables, sofas, and chairs. The welcome desk is right in the middle and there is an option to self check in as well if you have all your information. Once you head to the elevator the dinning room is on your left. The elevators are interesting since they are all different sizes. On my side you can fit 2-3 people while the other side have bigger elevators which can fit up to 5-6 people. It is hard to figure out which elevator you're gonna get and a struggle when you have lots of people with luggage. The rooms were a decent size for three people. It had two twin beds pushed together and a sofa bed which was super comfortable. Everything was neat and clean. Would definitely recommend this for a couples getaway place!
