I asked him several times to not do that, and even got out a fender cover to protect the paint, and he still continued to do it. The other Prime Auto Glass employee kept asking him to stop as well. Bottom line, they would not fix the small rock chip because they said it had too many spider cracks radiating from it, and made a mess all over the hood and A pillar of my car. I took it to a competitor, and they fixed it with no problems. I will NEVER go back there. EVER!

Trust me, you don't need to look any farther. My 97 Land Cruiser had failing tint on every single window. The old tint was bubbling, cracking, torn, and discolored. It was an embarrassing mess. More importantly, for this review, it was a mess that nobody wanted to deal with, because removing old tint is not easy. I was actually turned down by two other tint shops before I found Vic. Vic didn't even flinch. And he did a PHENOMENAL job, tackling this dirty work and tinted every single window, including my new windshield and sunroof as well. If you take even three minutes talking to Vic, you will understand that he is the genuine article. He truly does care about his customers and doing a professional job. And he has the experience to back it up. Vic has been doing this for decades. He's the type of guy that will take the extra time to get it right and make sure that the job looks perfect. I knew going into this that I wanted ceramic tint, and not the less expensive carbon tint. But Vic educated me on an even better option for the windshield. And I'm so glad I did it. It has practically 100% IR rejection. No heat gets through the windshield at all and that's what I need to protect the old plastic and vinyl and interior of this Land Cruiser. I want to preserve the interior as much as possible because I plan on keeping this vehicle for a lot longer. One more thing - Vic wants you to know that he is installing the film that you wanted and paid for. Some installers will sell you the premium ceramic tint and then install the cheaper carbon tint and you'll never know that you got ripped off. Without being asked, Vic brought an electronic device out to show me on my new tinted glass what the UV and IR measurements are, so I could be confident that he installed the better quality films that I paid for.

If you are looking for a real tint job, these are the guys…read more I recently purchased a vehicle at had it done at a different tint shop. The tint job looked awful. The tint did not go the edges of the window (almost 1/4 inch from the edge) and the shop that installed it told me they couldn't do anything about it. They said the machine that cuts the tint, does this always, and there was no way around it. I called and spoke to Josh, and he explained that what I wanted was a "shaved edge". It is a method that's actually old school, and it is where the installer "shaves" the window right at the edge to create a super clean look. I ended up having them tint my vehicle, and it looks incredible. Super laid back people all around, and a way nice shop. Sucks i had to spend almost 500 to find all of this out. Hopefully this review helps someone avoid the same mistake.

Sure, some of them gave good quotes, but dealing with reschedules and no shows was not worth the bargain. Sure, Tint World is a bit pricey. And what you're going to get is professional, prompt and quality service. The car's tint looks great and it only took them a few hours. They gave us good aftercare instructions and full disclosure on the tint warranty guarantee. Sure, I'll probably sell the car before the tint goes south, but at least I have the peace of mind.

I called the St. George location they said yeah no problem it will cast a little more like 10$ a window. Bluffdale told me they charge 99$ an hour and it would take a few hours. 4 windows already cost me 600. Drive to St. George if you want the clean look and their particular product.

I reached out to them and they said there was nothing they can do. We had to scrape black gunk adhesive off the new windshield and purchase additional materials to fix it. If they can't offer any solution to a problem they caused I would rather they not even try to put the dash cam back up.

After the installment they informed me that leftover glass would be in the door but would not affect the new window. A short time later I used the window for the first time, rolled it down, and it became stuck. For several days it would not budge, we even tried manually lifting it, to no avail. They had also left broken glass on the inside of my car. I brought it back into the shop and asked them to take a look at it, because it had worked perfectly beforehand. This is where my one star review comes from, because as soon as I brought it back in the employees turned hostile and unprofessional. They informed me that it was not their problem that the window was not working, but ultimately agreed to take a look at it. A few days later I received my car back and it was working, they claimed that it was working when I dropped it off, which it was not and I had attempted to use it again in their parking lot minutes before dropping it off, it didn't work. While the window now worked broken glass in the bottom was now scratching the pane as it moved. Upon asking them to fix the glass scratching the new pane they had installed they told me if the glass got scratched it wasn't their problem, they said I paid only for the pane of glass and for it to go into the car... not that it would work properly when there. After bringing up my warranty I was told about when picking my car up they aggressively and rudely said that it only applies to windshields. Which they neither told me when they gave it to me nor does it say on their website under "warranty". I was also told that this is a regular issue their customers run into, and they know that leaving glass in can damage the window regulator and scratch the glass, but that it is not their problem. The glass pane costs about $75 so for a $300 service I expect the expect the product to work as intended, not to be given back to me with high probability of failure that they both know about and are unwilling to fix. Ultimately unprofessional work with misleading claims. I am willing to change this review if the desired help is received but until then I advise not going to this company for work on car door windows, as they know their service is faulty and leads to long term problems for customers.

This is not some back ally warehouse type of shop. Laketown is a nice facility, with a nice showroom and a big well kept beautiful service bays. You can tell they take pride in their work and offer quality service and top brands they sell. That's usually comes at a price. When I walked in the cost of my repair was about $500 and almost $2500 if they needed to replace it. Most audio places would've have probably worked me for as much money as they could've gotten out of me. Not Laketown. Adam who is one of their talented technicians, diagnosed the head unit issue and simply updated the firmware. Total $80 out the door with diagnostics and software update all within about 30 min. That's honesty. Honest people that really know their stuff. I will be back!
