The chicken marsala has a nice sauce/gravy but it is extra sweet compared to other marsala's I've had. The gnocchi was really good, love those little gut bombs and the red sauce was excellent. Gotta love the drink prices in northern Minnesota. The service was great as we sat at the bar and the bartender was delightful and entertaining - she told us a good story about how she ended up in a walking boot. This location is very busy, a reservation is recommended, especially for a Saturday night.

The cocktail menu did not appeal to me; my wine was fantastic. Of course I had to start with the meatballs. They were so good. For dinner I had the salmon fresca- a pasta dish, which is not my typical dish (i usually get beef!) but it sounded so good. I was very pleased with it and my husband loves fish so he was thrilled and shared with me. He also ordered the mahi mahi which comes over risotto and loved it. We were grateful for the complimentary bread and dipping sauce. Yum! They told us their desserts were homemade so we shared the cheesecake. It was better than I expected! We also ordered a large Caesar Salad (complete with Anchovies - which my wife loved). The food was delicious - such a rich and flavorful sauce, with a bit of a spicy bite. Wish we were in town longer so we could try one of their very unique pizzas. It was late at night (after 8PM due to our flight challenges) and there were several other patrons who came in after us.
