So I've bn going to S&K for my past three inspections because the others were five minutes or less…read morein waiting. But, this time he charged me $40! I paid in cash as always. The receipt was already in the car and it says on the bottom: "Total Inspection Fee $6.25 (min) - $30.00 (max)" I gave him two stars because, again, it was quick but he lost his five star rating because he charged me $10 over the maximum. Sadly, he also lost my continued business.

They gave me a video diagnosis, estimate, and explained the needed repairs. At first, the noise didn't seem improved, but later Mike made things right after I brought the car back, which I really appreciate. The front desk experience could have been better, especially when I asked for a corrected receipt and didn't get follow-up. Still, Mike himself is a great mechanic and an honest Christian guy who stands behind his work. It's clear he cares about his customers.

It took them days to diagnose the problem and get back to him, then every week it was a different excuse, had to order custom torque converter, no lifts available, ordered the wrong parts, installed the wrong parts, didn't replace filters, clogged the AC, who knows what issues caused more problems, they wouldn't answer phone or contact my son, they don't work weekends or after 5. I think they were embarrassed or because it was warranty work they dragged it out. Plus, they wouldn't provide written invoice/documentation of the work they did. So disappointed.
