Sure, they are known for their kebabs. But I have a little secret to share. Their pizzas are fantastic. Their pizzas are small, boat shaped crispy goodness. Topped with a slightly spicy sauce and locally produced cheese I loved my pizza to the very last bite. There is a meat version too, which I did not try but someone from our group was raving about it. The kebabs are a hit, and my wife loved her combination lamb and beef kebab. It domes served with rice and vegetables. Everyone was digging on the kebab scene. Saglem is out of the way and literally out in the middle of no where. If you put away your preset cultural standards, the owner was very friendly and shared with us an explanation of all our meal options. We sat indoors with our party and enjoyed a lovely lunch of mixed kabab and complementary olives and cheese platter. 15 TL for the meal and 15 for wine. Our tour guide selected this restaurant for lunch on our bus tour. First, we sat outside in the heat, whilst the indoors was almost empty, reserved for the individual clients. We ordered three different kabab platters, the food was bland, with a smallest portion of chopped lettuce, onion and the lamest excuse for rice. Everything was preordered from the bus an hour ahead and still got my food last. Smelt of petrol /kerosene, maybe to accelerate the grill. In a country where great food is the norm, this was the priciest and worst . Avoid at all cost. Service is non existent. Couldn't even get salt. read more
