My siblings and I hired them for my parents suprise party in Pittsburgh - yes they travel (it was totally worth it)! They arrived early, performed everything that we discussed and they kept us dancing. Mixing Motown with some modern hits. Gen Alpha- Gen Z- Millenials- Gen X- and Boomers all up and dancing - LOL! I was so impressed I recommended them to a friend for her wedding and I was thrilled when I saw them at her reception. I remember all the men who normally stay seated were up and dancing! They played some classic Tina no one could sit still.

The best decision I made for my wedding, besides choosing my partner, was selecting the Original…read moreMoonlighters as our band. Our wedding was somewhat intimate with 60 guests, ranging in age from 18 to 77. We were concerned about finding a band that could appeal to such a broad age range with eclectic musical tastes, but this band more than appealed to our guests. They had everyone on the dance floor smiling and having a spectacular time. The band included two vocalists and four instrumentalists for a three-hour event that included the dinner hour and two hours of dancing. For the dinner hour, the band played beautiful jazz music, which allowed the guests to enjoy their dinner and conversation with soothing music playing in the background. The dancing portion of the night kicked off with the song, At Last by Etta James that was beautifully performed by their female vocalist. In fact, I think she sounded better than the original artist. From there, the band transitioned smoothly from one genre to the next with pure talent. Almost all of the guests were on the dance floor throughout the night dancing, laughing and having a great time. Not only was the music by this band flawless but they were also very professional, fun, easy to work with and even attired themselves in my wedding colors. You cannot go wrong in hiring this band; they will make your wedding event the talk of the town. Dave & Julie June 2019

SPECTACULAR SERVICES THAT ALWAYS CREATE MAGICAL EVENTS!…read more Washington's Best is a hidden treasure trove of talented musicians, photographers, and videographers. These professionals are some of the best in their field. Along with that degree of quality they also display genuine enthusiasm making your wedding memories. The head of the agency is unflappable and is a "go to" person when you need help planning these important wedding components. I have used Washington's Best three times for wedding photography. My favorite photographer is Neednan. He is actually the only photographer I've used because his photos are so beautiful and he is such a great person with a terrific eye for that "once in a lifetime" photo. He has photographed my wedding as well as my daughter's. In fact, she originally didn't want photos until Mama said, "Well, I would like some. I'm calling Washington's Best and ask for Neednan." Her mind was quickly changed. That's another great thing about them. My daughter is finishing college across the country and Ms. Independent. She was able to communicate with the Washington's Best office in timely manners, discuss her wishes, and make arrangements with no hiccups. Washington's Best doesn't "push" certain services or professionals to overwhelm the bride. The fees are the absolute best I have ever seen in any location. Most people look at photos or videos once, put something on a frame, and put them away. Several years later I still love looking at my wedding photos. My daughter's photos are even more beautiful! But you can see for yourself. Thank you Neednan, David, and Washington's Best!

You will not be disappointed. We hired them for our wedding reception - photographer, and jazz guitar - and it was so easy, and they were so wonderful. Washington's Best was recommended to me by a friend, and I am delighted that we took her advice. Photographers alone can set you back a huge chuck of change around here. We got 3 hours, plus 100 prints and ALL the photos on disk for $750. Yelpers, you can't beat that with a stick. Making the arrangements was super easy. After emailing David Fletcher, the director of Washington's Best, he mailed out the contracts with preaddressed and stamped return envelopes. All I had to do was sing and send it back in. Too easy. A couple of weeks before the big day, the musician and the photographer called to check in with me. No problem there. Don't let the price fool you, our photographer was just fabulous!!! Nenad Mladenovic (http://nenadphotography.com/) came to take the pictures. He showed up before schedule and took pictures of the preparation stage. He was fun and professional, and made sure in checking with us that he was taking pictures of the people and moments that we wanted captured. [And, he's a cutie. My mother and mother-in-law both have a crush on him!] From time to time he would show us the shots he was getting on the display on his camera. They were spectacular. Dave Mosick was our guitarist, providing nice relaxed jazz for our post wedding soiree. While I did not have the personal interaction with Dave like I did with Nenad, his contribution was superlative as well. The music was just right, and set the perfect tone for the party. It was $300 for Dave to play two hours. Washington's Best is a professional organization of musicians and photographers. I would use them again in a heartbeat. If you have a wedding coming up, skip all the expense and annoyance of shopping around with other photographers and musicians - use Washington's Best. You'll save time and money, and get the professional results that you want. Use that extra $2500 you would have spent with some other photographer, and go on a great honeymoon!
