The only real complaint was that the performance was supposed to be at the outside theater and so we bought chairs and brought them for this show... but as soon as we arrived at the outdoor theater, there was a small sign telling us it had been moved indoors. Back to the car (there was 7 of us) hauling our chairs to put them back then to walk down the street. Now we don't mind that it was moved inside because it was literally 105 outside and we wondering how the performance was going to go.......the complaint is that the theater people who we bought the tickets through should have emailed people who bought tickets to let them know ahead of time. We wouldn't have bought or brought chairs. That being said, again, great show.

We circled the aisles of vendors before deciding what to buy. One vendor was selling books for $1 each. I found a Peter Pan book in the mix. The Queen made an appearance. Both kids love this place and look forward to attending their class. The staff are nice, helpful, and the property is beautiful. There is a small area near the acting room so that my little one can play while her brother takes his class. There's a table and chairs for family to sit. The teachers are excellent and go out of their way to get to know the students and work with them as individuals. For kids more serious about dance or musical theatre, the troupes and companies enable them to get more specialized instruction, as well as several performance opportunities during the year. For shows, they are paired up with buddies who can walk them through the process or send them encouraging notes, etc. they focus on character development, and how kids learn what I would consider to be important qualities, such as discipline, resilience, kindness, etc. Even the parents get to join in on the fun, as parent involvement/volunteering is required for shows. I've really enjoyed connecting with other theater moms and dads and working together on parent teams. I also like that parents are not involved in the classes. That means if your kid wants to do theater and you don't have the time to volunteer, you still have options for them. The teachers are passionate and highly capable. From what I've seen, they are immensely talented in their own fields. Each time one of my children takes a class, they definitely come away knowing more than they went in knowing, and it shows in their performances. Our oldest child has been involved with CYT over the past couple of years, and we have seen great growth in her singing and dance abilities, as well as her drive and work-ethic. We're definitely excited to introduce the siblings to CYT.

Eventually the message shows it's been read.....After leaving, I got a missed call but I was busy driving so I couldn't pick up. Still at this point no voicemail. No response. I was very upset because it was a bday present I asked my bf to take me dancing. I bought a dress and spent my time getting dolled up just to stay outside waiting in the dark. It's very unfortunate this had happened because I love Ana's style of dance and was looking forward to it. All she could have done is reply back to me that she forgot or got the dates wrong.
