I moved to the area 3 yrs agi and went through at least 4 nail shops before finding Savvy nails. I wanted hard gel for my nails which were a hot mess and Mindy took care of me. Three yrs later, I'm still going there. The pedicures are amazing! Every technician does a great pedicure. No complaints. I get the CBD pedicure with hot stones and paraffin. I love the vibe. They play spa music all of the time. So relaxing. Don't go if you are in a hurry because you will do yourself a great dis-service. Relax and enjoy being pampered. Highly recommend this salon. One of the techs didn't even measure my nails natural nails,I wanted nail dip she went and cut them and in one hand were shorter than other one when I told her she just kept putting excuses,then started speaking her language then I told her I didn't want her to do my nails and she replied you have to pay $30 for just cutting my nails then I went off and said nope I'm not paying anything for your bad service and I just had one of the other techs do it for me. She one of the worst techs at savvy nails she's always sitting on those chair where they do pedi and will be on the phone not helping out. First time here without doing research like I usually do and I have to say; GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! First things first, the techs are not very professional. 3/5 were newbies to the nail world so every client was getting bounced from tech to tech and people were leaving because they were just taking way too long. For the pedicures everything is fine but for the manicures is a completely different story. I am a very picky gal who knows what she wants with that being said, the tech was not only applying the acrylic nails sideways rather than straight but also was working on my hands without gloves and I noticed she had cuts on her hand so please WATCH OUT! That's how people get infections on their nails. I made a comment about that and she put on gloves. Additionally they have their filing machines on high setting which burns you when they are working on your hands so ask them to lower the setting. The tech was also missing so many details like particles on the nails when she was painting them, also she was leaving areas deformed with sharp sides. The environment was not good at all. The salon was going to be closed down due to sales being low and people not going there but the owner chose to sell it to someone else which made it go under new owner ,however the new owner isn't changing anything at all which will make this salon close down eventually, just like it should of had. Language barrier is the other thing, a salon needs at least one person who is fluent in English otherwise it leads to misunderstandings but this salon doesn't have a single person who can communicate properly. Pricing is Ridiculous! Nowhere in the menu does it say that prices for designs depend on the tech, so if the tech thinks is a difficult design they will charge you $200!! For just the design!! Insane right!!!??? I literally had to pull out my designs and showed her each one and she gave me different prices but all $150 and up. The tech couldn't even draw simple straight lines and yet she was charging $200 for one of my designs! A little girl got her pedi done and she got charged $70!!!! Are you serious??? For a freaking child! That's abusing! The little girls mom was mad about the price for her daughter's pedi and the mom said she would just go somewhere else for her nails. Last but not least, the photos that they have on their social media profiles are fake, they don't do those nails there. And some photos are from when they started which was under the old owner the good techs they had left which is how the salon ended up having techs that are beginners. If you look at yelp and google you will realize that nothing adds up, some of their reviews are from their own employees to try and mask the true reviews. DO YOUR RESEARCH LADIES! I really don't understand why such low ratings ?! Ok so I went here referred by my best friend, and now every time I come to Woodland, I'll make a stop here ! I was greeted and helped right away, but that shocked me because they looked busy. Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the girl who helped me , but she was exceptional, and efficient. The spa itself was super clean , they have such relaxing music and glass covered waterfalls ! Very fancy and specious. It's a beautiful relaxing place. I went in for a pedicure and had literally the WORST experience! I had the skin around my toe cut (which hurt really bad), no one wanted to help translate for me since there was a language barrier. I showed her a picture that I had wanted a French tip and she couldn't even do that, and it made me more upset when I tried asking an employee of hers to explain something for me in regards to me not liking how it was coming out and he just looked at me and ignored the fact that I needed help. Absolutely wonderful job! I went here for the first time today b/c I got a fill elsewhere by a novice who totally ruined my nails 2 days ago. I walked in here as a walk-in, they took off all the old acrylic, gave me fresh acrylic with a similar nail design I had previously, and it's flawless. Cost was only $35. I didn't get a pedicure since id just gotten one 48 hrs ago but I observed them doing a few. The will scrub your feet down to baby soft skin! Also, they offer gel polish on your toes. My six year old son wanted to take me here for a pedicure on mother's day. We didn't have an appointment but they said they could take us right away. We were sitting in the pedicure chair for over 5 minutes, my sons had water, when one of the workers came over and told us we had to leave because two other people had "come back". They did not offer a free or discounted service. I wish they had either told us they couldn't take us, schedule an appointment time, or have the decency to realize that it's mother's day. I also wish the other 2 women would have offered to wait, but it's not their fault. I will also add, I am not the type of person to slam service and often give the benefit of the doubt, but this was messed up. I will not go back. I called and made appointments for myself and two friends for pedicures at noon. They assured me they had space. We walked in a couple minutes before noon and told them we were there for our appointments. And then we waited. At 10 mins after we asked the girl toward the front if we would be starting soon since we have to get back to work. She assured us that it would be soon. We finally got soaking in chairs at around 12:15. The first pedicure started at around 12:30. The second at 12:35. Finally now at 12:45 mine is just starting. We have voiced our concerns several times about the timing, and how we've had to wait 45 minutes, but there has been no apologies. In the words of my friend, I think it's time we cut our ties with Savvy. Used to we could get a great lunchtime pedicure here and get back to work with no issues. DIRTY! Roach infested. I got a toenail FUNGUS from this place. I've been getting my nails done here for 2 years. My doctor told me I likely got the toenail fungus from them using dirty instruments on me. I'm so disgusted with this place! If youve had and pedicure here. take off your nail polish. Shine a light on your toe nail,if your toenail looks brown or yellow. Most likely you have an infection and have to undergo. Went in to remove acrylic nails done by another location. The woman who removed my nails essentially RIPPED them off. I have NEVER had a nail salon remove my nails by inserting an acrylic nail underneath the lifting parts of the nails i was requesting to be removed--and then proceeding to rip them off. My natural nails were left VERY frail. I decided to "give them a chance" by getting just a simple polish done over them (also to cover the hideous status they left my nails in) and 27 hours later they are already coming off. I recommend saving your time, money, and nails by not visiting this location. read more

I got a gel manicure here yesterday. Honestly, it has to be one of the worst manicures I've ever gotten. The nail technician took off my previous gel coat by using the sander. He missed all of the edges so bits and pieces of my previous coat are still there. He painted the new gel coat over those bits (and onto my skin and didn't clean it off before curing). Now I have a rough/bumpy coat with uneven edges. I understand that they are busy, and time is money, but that doesn't mean they should skimp on basic services. read more
