Poor selection of vegetables. Plus vendor were not wearing masks as were very few shoppers. Will not be back.

I was really excited to see a local food market/diner come to Cedar Park. I love the convenience…read moreof having a local restaurant/market, but unfortunately I've been vastly disappointed since it opened. I'll list some pros/cons and you can decide if you want to try this place Pros - Convenient location at 1431/Lakeline Decent food (when they get your order correct) Good quality items (when in stock) No waiting in cafe (at least for seating) Plasma TVs in cafe Very friendly staff - especially the manager Cons - Service at diner is SLOOOOW Every time I've eaten there, I've had to send my food back for a correction. It's weird because the MAX number of tables seated when I've eaten there is 3, so there's really no excuse here. Went in for Milk and lunch meat one day. They didn't have any 2% milk. -- This is a market, right? No sliced cheddar cheese??? Isn't this a deli?

I'm doing the review on their round rock location (on Sam Bass). So far, I've not tried their food…read moreyet, but they have the best home made salsa in town. I'm very pleased with their friendly staff. Everybody is so down to earth. Red Onion Market is a small private own market/food service. I don't believe it's designed to compete with big chain market on the pricing. It's for the convenience of the surrounding neighborhood. From what I can see(I go in twice a week to buy their salsa. Did I already mention they have great salsa?), the customers are quite pleased with this place. Personally, I live about 8-10 miles away, but I still manage to pay them visits on the weekly basis. I'm always supporting small businesses. So far, they haven't done anything to turn me away.

What a cool 'hidden find' in the Leander area!…read more It's a bit of a misnomer to call this a 'flea market', but that's a minor point to quibble over. Rather, this is a collection of rather eclectic shops selling mostly used or refurbished items. These range from vintage glass and antique furniture all the way to collectible baseball cards. Everyone I spoke to at one of the stores was friendly and sometimes willing to negotiate a price on an item. I look askance at some of the reviews which claim 'I didn't get a deal'. You have access to the internet, after all. Even on your smart phone. You should be able to find out if the vintage item you're looking for hasn't been cheaply reproduced at Hobby Lobby, Cost Plus or Michael's. The facility still seems to be in development, so a couple notes for folks who may visit close to when I did, in September 2017. 1) The parking lot is a very rough gravel one. Drive slowly and walk carefully, there are ankle-turning rocks here if you wear heels. 2) One of the vendors was having serious issues taking credit cards, so having cash on hand might be a good idea. 3) If you check in on Yelp, there's a free drink offer available at the food trailer. However, there's no food trailer yet - just a well-run inside snack bar. They were kind enough to honor the offer for me, but do them a favor and wait until they get a vendor in before trying to use the coupon. In sum, a definite place to visit if the antique hunting bug strikes!

Makes a nice trip especially if you're looking for the refurbished stuff! I'm a vintage toy collector myself so most of the pictures I took reflect that.
