Savora is owned & operated by the same genius Argentine behind La Matera. The sandwiches are simple and delicious. They are big enough to share. I have tried every item on the menu (which was recently expanded) and must say that I have never been disappointed.
Savora is a bit more pricey than the typical street food in Mexico but it is very reasonably priced. Service is always friendly and attentive. The sandwiches are always the main attraction (I suggest the rib eye or filet, but they are all very very good); but the salads, steaks and pasta offerings are also top notch.
Essentially, this is a more casual version of the excellent cuisine my Argentine friend brought to ward off any pangs of homesickness. In the heart of Guadalajara, one can find food with a hint of the Pampas.
If you are ever in Guadalajara, I highly recommend that you stop in and enjoy a cold beer and a delicious meal at Savora. read more
