Overall, it was clean, well stocked and the ladies room was pretty good for a gas station bathroom. There were a lot of food, snack and drink items in the store for a quick stop. We loaded up with snacks and drinks for a roadtrip back to the city and everything was as you would expect. Not only were the cashiers super friendly but one guy working the coffee machines let me have my coffee for free because "the red light is on, the coffee is passed it prime" lol that still tickles me thinking back on it. And to top it off, the coffee was fine! Would definitely come back next time we're in Utica.

They have a ton of different options so you're bound to find one you like. They also have some good options for soups and hot items for lunch, like meatballs or macaroni and cheese. The way they serve the food and set up the store makes it very welcoming for someone who's been on the road for a while. They had nice refreshments, specialty cookies, little sandwiches, and plenty of options to grab a quick bite or a snack. It wasn't fancy, but it was comfortable, kind, and exactly the right vibe for a road stop. For being "just what I needed" at the right time, I'm giving Stewart's Shops 5 stars.
