As others have said..... Sometimes they won't take your items Because they are "too full" If you bring items in a tote.... For a thrift store - very high prices. And they won't give even store credit to return appliances or small lamps if they don't work. And all four employees are standing watching the 10 full self check out registers. They get paid to watch you do what should be their job! Oh wait, one was texting on his phone! If you are here strictly just for clothes I wouldn't recommend unless you have the time to browse through everything. My good finds are typically in regards to guy clothes & jackets. I never really have luck when it comes to other garments. There are some items that I do find expensive for being a thrift shop in which I could go to a department store & get a new item for around the same price. But at least shopping here you are contributing to society. They have good deals when it comes to books, toys & games. Last time I went they had a buy 4 & get one free for books/magazines which was great. It is self check out so there are times it does get tricky & you have to call an employee to help you out if the machine gets an error. read more

When arriving early to this store, before opening, there is no effort in keeping order so it tends to create a hostile environment that creates chaos. Most places as least attempt to acknowledge a first come first serve basis but when a bigger man just puts himself in front of an elderly woman who arrives early seems pretty crappy to me. I know it wouldnt happen had i of been there just think how crappy it is when society no longer has etiquette the business should at least make an attempt to keeping order for their customers. Pretty cool place! Had to check it out after driving around that shopping center and I noticed how busy it was. This store has tons and tons of racks full of clothes! I bought my toddler dollar shorts! Just what I needed and for him and they were great quality! There was also this cool toy section that my kiddos loved and were entertained. I like how they had toys bagged for like two bucks with a variety of different toys in them! Overall lots of cool things to find in this thrift store! I would go again to look and see what great things I can find! The only thing I thought was pricey was the women's clothes, the shirts ranges from 5 to 7 bucks which I can just shop clearance and buy brand new at regular stores, so I skipped on buying clothes for myself there by other than that pretty cool thrift store! read more

This review is exclusively for donation drop off. I have never been inside the store, so I cannot review that aspect. I donate approximately once every quarter, and I only donate items that are is excellent, resalable condition. Like most of the population, I am busy, and I have to run errands like making donations as my schedule permits. This morning just before 6:45 am I stopped by to leave a sizable donation. An older gentleman with a long grey beard was standing at the retail door with two other employees when I pulled up to the donation door. He said, "You can't make a donation until 9:00 when we open. This is not a dumping ground." I was appalled, not that I was asked not to make the donation at that time, but at the tone that was used and the rudeness conveyed to a person trying to donate. This is a store that can only exist due to donations. I replied that I wasn't dumping but trying to make a donation. To which the man responded "If it is before we are open, it is dumping." I left, and I will not be back. There are several really great charities and donation centers in the Temecula/ Murrieta area, and they welcome donations, without accusations to make people donating feel like their donation is unwelcome. I will help those charities in the future. read more

The Store is usually pretty good. However, it doesn't open until 11 and closes at 7. If you don't look up the hours you presume that most stores open at 9-10 am. Plus the donation side is open, which is even more confusing. When I asking one of the donation employees if the store was open to confirm, he said "no,it's not." With an attitude, which I can only imagine he gets asked all the time. To resolve the problem... open both the store and donation side at the SAME time. Won't be coming back. read more

Most people assume that Savers is a nonprofit but unlike most thrift stores, Savers is a FOR PROFIT business. Donations are marked up close to or above retail department store prices. Sadly, Families that depend on the reasonable prices second hand stores offer won't be able to afford many of the items that Savers was given for free! The greed As an alternative and suggestion, I advertise my donations in a local Facebook group and that anyone who can put them to good use is welcome to have them for free, that is so much more satisfying! I'm currently creating a local Facebook group that will allow people to list their donations so that anyone that could put them to good use can pick them up and bypass these greedy stores.........because one mans trash is another mans blessing : ) read more

I am still saying that they are too expensive with their used, donated to them clothing but apparently many people do not care or just do not see it or get it? Today, lots of FAKE BRAND NAME PURSES and that really ticks me off. Last I'd checked, it's illegal to sell replicas. Regardless of 'who' you are. I found 2 definitely FAKE Louis Vuitton purses. 1 fake Calvin Klein....with his last name spelled wrong....obvious duh.... and 3 'other' higher end brand name satchels and totes. Unbelievable! I looked through some clothe and kept going, shaking my head. Why would I pay $11 for a used, smelly, no name shirt when I could literally get a brand new, similar one at Walmart, for that price, for sure? Just an example.... Drive 25 minutes to drop donations we start unloading and the person working there tells me I can not accept donations anymore unless they are in boxes. And they are full to Capacity. I don't shop much in these stores (second hand items) but my GF does. I came along for a day trip here. They are socially distancing and spraying the carts down. This store had a line going out when we got here so they attract business well. They sell quite a few items here outside of clothing...books, furniture, kids toys were some of the items I saw. They appear to have special daily sales based off tag colors (yellow tag items meant half off today for example). This was a large store comparable in size to a Marshalls. One of the few knocks I have is the aisles are tight to navigate with often people squeezing by to get the items they want. read more

I've been going to savers the last couple of years, both to donate and to shop. Unfortunately, my daughter and I went to today and the prices were outrageous!! It was like shopping for new clothes at a department store. I was super disappointed. I definitely am not going to donate to Savers anymore. we called ahead to ask about donations needed to be dropped off (furniture). we specifically asked about items that would not be accepted. we arrived about 15 minutes after calling and they told us that they would not be accepting ANY of our items even after saying "yes we would be able to take all of your items" on the phone. 1 star is very generous. read more

I've been a frequent shopper sin they opened I will not be returning due to the new self checkout system. why can't I get a real cashier if I want one. I was rudely directed to use the self checkout even though there were 5-6 teenage employees joking with each other over by the register.
