    Fake
    Mila D.

2/10/2026 12:47 PM I bought a Louis Vuitton Murrieta bag at Store 1195 SAVERS 1195 Murrieta, 25125 Madison Avenue #102, for $87. After I got home, I carefully examined the bag and realized it was a fake; it wasn't an original Louis Vuitton bag. I returned to the Savers store and wanted to return the bag. The manager told me I couldn't get a refund and that I could exchange the bag for another item. If I didn't find anything on that day, I had two weeks to exchange it. The next day, I returned to the store and wanted to exchange the bag for a dress. But the manager, Jackie, refused to exchange the bag, claiming it was an original Louis Vuitton bag, which was not true. Because of this, I got the impression that I was deceived by being sold a low-quality counterfeit product. They sold to me a counterfeit (fake)Louis Vuitton purse , and refused to refund me my money, even though I went back a failed complaint ,a couple hours later. The receipt doesn't indicate that it was a Final Sale, but they don't care at all.I thought it was not legal to sell counterfeits (fake) Brands in Public Store in the United States .However the owners of this business don''t seem to care. Is it scam?

Savers, like Goodwill is a for-profit thrift store. Both, offer consumers some good deals on slightly used items, such as clothes to appliances. This particular location is pretty large and has a good sized Loading Bay for drop-offs. Once a year we try cleaning out our closets of "stuff" that we aren't using anymore. We generally hope someone else can use it. We have been a big fan of Savers, going back to our time AZ. Everyone here has been very friendly and helpful, particularly in unloading our car and giving us receipts. Btw, the tax receipts have coupons attached. See photos. Nice

$2.99 brand new tag, priced at almost $9?

Finally decided to visit this store. It's a large sized thrift store, which means they have A LOT of stuff. You could spend a few hours here searching through the shelves and racks. To be honest, it felt a bit overwhelming for me - there were too many things to search through and I didn't have a game plan. I think it helps once you know the layout of the store and you can come up with a good strategy so you don't end up feeling overwhelmed like I did. I only searched through a few racks and shelves - I wasn't looking for anything particular and also, upon going through some of the items, I felt they were definitely overpriced. I went through a couple of racks of tops and nothing is priced under $6. I found an item that had an original tag from Ross priced at $2 and it was selling for $8.79 - I thought that was a bit ridiculous. I had picked out a couple of tops but I wasn't in love with them so I put them back, but then I spotted two slacks that were misplaced and they were my size! I immediately just grabbed them and paid for it. They have no fitting rooms, FYI. Overall, I don't know if I would come back here for a thrifting day, even though it's the closest one to my parent's house. The prices don't make it feel worth it.

Can't comprehend how Savers' prices are more expensive than retail when it comes to things that were donated.

1/29/26 Thursday 7:20 PM…read more I haven't been to this store in probably 12 years. My Grandson was at the gym next door, and while I waited, I decided to pop in here. There was a very very nice gal named Sophia who welcomed us back, and told us about the discounts we get, daily. She rang us up with such professionalism and a smile, the whole time. This has been the new location for our gym so we will be in more frequently. It's nice to know there are kind employees. I look forward to coming again. 5 STARS FOR THIS GOODWILL.

I've been shopping at this store for years, but this experience was incredibly disappointing and…read moreunprofessional. A month or two ago, I asked an employee if she could price check a pair of shoes for me. She came back with a higher price than I expected, so I politely asked if she could lower it to around the low $20 range, especially since the store would still be making a profit. Instead of simply saying no or explaining the pricing policy, she became argumentative. She told me she had checked the security cameras and then the system to see who had priced the shoes because there were two different prices associated with them, $22.99 and $29.99. She then stated that the $22.99 price "couldn't be right" and insisted on charging the higher amount. She continued by saying things like, "How do you think the lights stay on every month?" and "We need this money to pay the employees." She kept complaining as though lowering the price by a few dollars would somehow affect whether the business could pay its bills or employees. It honestly felt like she was personally invested in every dollar, as if she worked on commission. To be clear, I wasn't arguing with her. I ended up paying the price she wanted. My issue isn't the amount I paid, it's how I was treated. A simple, professional explanation that the price couldn't be adjusted would have been completely acceptable. It was unnecessary and unprofessional for an employee to lecture a customer about the store's operating costs or imply that a small discount would somehow keep the lights on or employees paid. If I had decided not to purchase the shoes at all, the store would have made nothing from the sale. This interaction left a poor impression and made me feel like asking a reasonable question was somehow wrong. I do not recommend coming her to anyone anymore , friends, families or strangers i always say this location is one Not to attend anymore. Goodwill has always been about helping the community by keeping items affordable. Lately, it feels like many stores are pricing items based on eBay, which takes away from that mission. Not everyone shops at Goodwill to resell. Many of us are just looking for affordable items. A better approach would be pricing items around 40% of what they actually sold for online. That still allows Goodwill and resellers to make a profit while keeping prices fair for everyday shoppers and helping inventory move faster. I hope Goodwill can get back to serving the community with reasonable pricing.
