Several months ago I would of given this store five stars. But recently whomever puts prices on videos games has lost it. I may be wrong but don't people go to thrift stores to find good deals? I could sit at home and order from eBay and will actually save money in comparison to what they charge. It's disappointing they raised their prices so much. I use to stop by a few times a week. As an educator, this place has helped me add additional resources to programs. Sometimes you can find brand new games and toys at a steal of a price! I have also been able to purchase brand new clothing items (with tags original tags still on them), which can be exciting if it's something I actually want. The store is surprisingly clean and well organized. If you keep on the look out they have discount days too when they have special promotions. read more

This rating is for pricing. I've been to this Savers many times in hopes they would get close to "thrift store" prices. But alas, it seems like it's not going to happen. $12.99 for a used, middle of the road short sleeve shirt - I can get close to that price for something brand new at a good Macy's sale. The store is clean and well organized with a large selection. But after my visit this weekend, I don't think I'll be back. read more

I love this store! I know it is a for profit store but it is super fun to shop at! Everything is so organized! The clothes and shoes are by sizes which makes shopping so fun! When you donate stuff they give you a punch card worth up to 30% off your next purchase and everybody is so nice there. I've been going here for years and I have always raved about savers to everyone and anyone.. I always donate and have always used the 30'percent off coupons that I receive either through donating or shopping. I have been noticing that clothes aren't organized like they use to be, prices have gone up..( you wondering who is pricing)... high prices on items that shouldn't be, stained and clothes and items with damage or holes in them. I have always continued to be a loyal donater.. I have numerous 30 percent off cards and went I went to use a card tonight the cashier (a new one) told Me that the card expired.. I asked her to ask a manager if she could honor it since I have so many and I just brought in a donation tonight. I felt bad for the cashier because when she went to ask the manager... the manger was rude to her and then wouldn't honor any of my expired cards (expired by 3 days) I could have used the card I got tonight for my donation.. but it was the principle of the matter. If stores like this want To have loyal customers.. ones who spend a lot of money and donate a lot of everything, they need to make Customers ( and employees) feel appreciated. Not a big deal tonight.. I would have only save 3 dollars.. but again, it's not about money. So disappointed tonight. ..:( I wish they had their old staff and managers back. It use to be fun to shop there and it was so clean.. I see it turning in to every other dirty thrift store.. and they get everything for free.. very sad..:( read more

This place is really going downhill quick. This use to be my favorite store to shop and I have always loved digging for a bargain but now it's not even fun anymore. Whoever prices these items have completely lost their minds. I'm a professional shopper and you're ripping people off just because of a name brand. For example - 10 year old Victoria secret pants 14.99!! Are you kidding me? I can catch new ones on sale for 19.99 this place has gotten Greedy and takes away the fun out of bargain shopping. Went into savers today, my girlfriend was trying on clothing she found, went to the dressing room to try on the clothes and we had a shopping cart filled with our items we found. She comes out of the dressing room and sees the cart missing so she asked an associate and she didn't know so she goes to the front and asks the lady in the front named Robin, Robin replied very rudely "thats not my problem, i could kick you out for having the cart inside the dressing room". Mind you she didn't have the cart in or around she set it aside following what the lady said before entering the dressing room. Then Robin says to my girlfriend "you can go back and find what you had but we can't help". I personally think it was very rude and unprofessional I understand people have bad days but just cause your having a bad day you have to make someone else's bad too. read more

I love thrift stores and I love finding treasures and bargains. First the cons: Sometimes certain items can be way overpriced I'm not sure why that is. I mean come on it's a thrift store for bargains sake! I mean come on these guys get their stuff for free so any dollar is all profit in the pocket. Confused why there are pricing it at retail value. Second sometimes I notice an odd smell or mild odor inside the store. I'm not sure because of the old clothes or items. And lastly it's quite warm and stuffy in there. Wish someone would turn up the air conditioning. Pros: At times you will find quality designer clothes and items for about half the price which is great. I typically donate clothes/baby clothes once a week at the donation center and they always offer to give me a discount card to use at any time to shop which I love to do. So it's a win-win situation in my book. Now I'm a bit indifferent when it comes to the workers and the quality of customer service. Unfortunately not a lot of smiles or interactions will be going on maybe management should motivate and or lift their spirits somehow because it does play a critical role in atmospherical mood. But not all is a grey area because there is a worker by the name of Sergio Hispanic young fella who is always really nice really kind and always willing to help out anyway he can. He's always upbeat hard working with a smile on his face. Professional but fun with a great attitude which kind of makes up for the rest of the workers there Lol. I will still continue to shop there just hope that the prices would go down at least a bit or else they are going to see a decrease in sales and less flow of valued consumers like myself. read more

Absolutely horrible!! It smelt like urine the clothes where filthy and covered in animal hair. I understand cutting costs by not washing to save money but savers is WAY OVER priced gor a thrift store. Ex a top I can get brand new at Ross for 9.99 was at savers for 9.99. Ugh what happened to this Savers??? I hadn't been here in about a year. They used to be one of the few thrift stores that didn't mark up crazy high for items they considered "high end". There was a jacket I loved but it was 34.99 even on half off days that's still too much. A pair of boys Jordan's for 14.99 even though they looked like they had 0 life left. A bag of chewed up littlest pet shops for 5.99. I'm so disappointed! read more

Ehh, this place is ok. It is organized, but pretty high prices. I actually went to burlington coat factory after and found brand new clothes for the same price as savers prices. Still prefer St. Marthas as my thrift store. Nothing beats half off Thursday and Saturday. read more

This place is the ultimate thrift store! Went here today with my mom on black friday and this place was amazing! Organized, fast and 75% off was worth it. Found tons of vintage clothing, records, shoes and cute dresses. My mom picked up some furnishings for her house, clothes and some glasses. All together we spent $70 and left with 20 items!! This place is great and has deals upon deals. Sign up for a members card (free) and receive emails for special promotions. Always check the tag color of the day that will indicate the 20% off and donate something and receive 30% off that day! Amazing place to shop, look and enjoy. read more

As thrift stores go, Savers is absolutely superb. They have the floor space and organization of a tightly run Salvation Army, but without all of the price gouging you find at the aforementioned establishment. (If you're interested in what I think of the Salvation Army, please read my other reviews) The selection of items is also very good, although I am hugely biased since I really only go in looking for books. I have been told their clothing selection fluctuates, and I can honestly say the same for the book department, but it is rare for me to walk in and not leave with something I couldn't live without. My usual routine is to hit up Saver's mid to late morning, then head over to Carini's in the adjacent parking lot for a slice of pizza and a soda, then maybe hit up Ryan's Comics (also within walking distance) and then head home. I first have to say, I love Savers in general. Though it is a for-profit thrift store, they do work with local non-profits. There usually good about putting out things that are in good shape. They carry a large selection of mainly clothes, but also have some furniture, housewares and books. They even had some new items for sale. The store is very clean and most things are reasonably priced.... however keep an eye out for Walmart brand items priced the same or higher than they would be at Walmart... it happens. read more

Definitely a little sketchy of a thrift store but then again, it IS a thrift store. Come here if you're looking for anything in specific or even something random because I bet they have it! I didn't purchase anything this time but prices on knick-knacks seemed reasonable and even some of the clothes. I love it a lot. Donate your used junk and receive coupons to use at the store! win-win-win-win it is very well organized. Friendly and helpful service most of the time. I actually get tired shopping there because the store is that huge. huge selection of womens/juniors of course and decent size selection of Mens. Bring some old stuff you don't wear anymore and they hand you some coupons right there on the spot you can use toward next purchase. it is awesome. Pretty sweet thrift store! Found some name brand, like new condition pants. Although I was short on time for checking it out for the first time, I got the gist of the store. Most of it is definitely clothes, but worth sorting through. I do wish they had a larger home section since it is a fun section to find unique things at thrift stores. I will definitely stop back! Savers is an awesome place to get some nice second hand items. I usually try to come here once a month to look for tee shirts and dress shirts and for the most part they have a great selection to choose from. Actually one of the biggest I've seen out of all second hand thrift stores I've been to. I try to make it a point to donate clothes every time I decide to actually go shopping here so that way I don't stock pile my own junk and also feel good about donating items I don't utilize. They also give you 30 percent off of your purchase if you bring items to their donation center. Let me tell you, 30 percent off is great, especially at this store. That discount can go a long way. Some items can be priced a little on the high side but ultimately not too bad. I can usually walk out of here with 3-5 tee shirts and 2 dress shirts for under $30 which is great. They also have 50% discounts on different color tagged items depending on which day of the week it is. So make sure you ask what color tagged items are on the discount when you arrive so you can save. The store is quite big so make sure set aside adequate time to go through each isle to ensure nothing is missed. One mans trash is another mans treasure. I used to love shopping here, I'd come in at least once a week. Unfortunately their getting greedy. Most of the product they sell is free to them, yes they purchase bulk bails of items as well to keep stock but majority is donated items. So that being said what in their right kinda makes them think they can charge upwards of 15$ or more for a pair of clearly used jeans, jackets anything. You don't get to Google what eBay sales it for you should have a scale $1-$15 On clothing that is from good to great and not based on the fact that people are donating high end things. Your a thrift store to help people who love shopping for used clothes or even people who can't afford newer clothes. I'm sorry savers but you have let me down, I used to rave about this store and was so excited to go "treasure hunting" for cool new things but not anymore. I get so pissed off everytime I come in hoping things have changed back to the way you started but find out your basicly retail pricing. Shame on you read more
