Way too overpriced , don't call yourself charity and then charge high prices . Clothes are cheaper at Dillard's

If I could give 0 stars I would. Today's manager ( a tall young man with long hair) was very rude. He didn't care to my issue and didn't care to come to a resolution. I bought a dress last week that's didn't fit. I decided to go today to exchange it for something else. When I went to check out I had bought the $8 dollar dress and wasn't being given the exchange for my previous buy. Upon looking at the receipt I see that I was being charged for the dress I had brought from home instead of having an exchange in it place. I was being charged for the same dress TWICE!! The employee doing my checkout didn't know what she was doing and had to get a manager to do my check out. It was $8 and cents for my buy and I gave a $20 bill. I was supposed to have received $10+ back but instead got back $2. When I confronted the manager on why I was being charged for the same dress TWICE he proceeded to say that the transaction was completed and that they didn't give refunds. I said I didn't get my exchange for the dress so I would just be taking it back home since I had already purchased it last week. Still charged twice for it and didn't get my my money back. There was no winning with him. I'm never going back to this store. I had heard bad stories about the place and finally confirmed it myself today!! read more

Its getting stupid expensive for everything here. I used to love coming in looking for clothes, treasures. For free donated items, they have raised prices to ridiculous amounts. When you can't afford new things and now you can't afford used items, there's a problem. Its call profit for somebody and not who they say it is for. read more

Made a video documenting my shopping experience at this store showing the ridiculous prices such as a fake designer purse for $200, a jersey for $500, watches for $300, and other overpriced items. The next time I visiTed the store I was approached by two employees and told I am being trespassed but would not be told for what reason and told that the stuff I had just donated was now theirs and I can not get it back. This store is very very overpriced, the staff is rude and very unprofessional. This store is locally known for their expensive prices on donated items. Kind of appalling that a store would trespass someone for a video not even giving my opinion but just simply showing the prices of their items. read more

There were no changing rooms so I was told if my dress didn't fit I could return it. When I brought it back they stated they could not return but only give me store credit. It took half an hour for someone to help me with my exchange. read more

I enjoy thrifting, savers has good selection but I believe they should do weekly sale items. Jeans 30% off Housewares30% Etc., I think that would keep inventory moving plus make customers feel appreciated. How bout it Savers? read more

Totally disgusted with this store now! In late 2021 I basically decorated my new rental from Savers. Since then, I usually stopped in twice weekly. Just my routine. I would pick up this and that. The last item I got was a toaster. It was $14. I thought to myself at that time, "wow, that's a lot for a used toaster", but it was in great condition, good brand name, and I had my senior discount and needed it. After shopping around, I realized all the prices seem to be very high. Who wants to pay $15 for used shoes (not even brand name) or $40 for a knock off Coach purse? The past month I have stopped in weekly. I'm done with that now. Prices too high. I saw soap/lotion gift sets for $10 and I had just bought the exact same set at Dollar General for $8!! read more

A thrift store with a great selection of clothing, toys, furniture, household items, books, and shoes. The store is also very organized which makes shopping easy and efficient. I have found many designer items in new or like new condition for a fraction of what they cost retail. The only issue I've noticed is that the prices seem to be soaring, especially with respect to name brand clothing and shoes. Overall, it's a good thrift shop with a huge inventory that it worth looking through. read more

One of two of my favorite Savers in Kansas City. Clean and well priced with great selection. I give it five stars but only have one compliant: craft book section is not kept up. Crochet and other similar books are mixed in with other shelves. Other than that, this and the Barry Road Savers are my favorites! read more

I usually love to shop at this Savers in Liberty MO. Unfortunately on my last shopping trip there, I noticed bugs through out the clothing sections. Upon further inspection I realized these were bed bugs I was seeing..EVERYWHERE!! If you've researched or had the unfortunate experience of having them, then you know how extremely difficult they are to fully extinguish. They are by far the absolute worse type of infestation to ever have! I brought this to an employees attention. The employee stated they are aware of the problem. When I checked back to see if problem was taken care of, I was disgusted to learn that not only had it not been addressed, it had gotten worse! As it will only get worse and worse. They obviously don't care for the health of their customers. Not to mention the cost is in the thousands to have a professional come in to spray! Don't believe me look it up. This store used to be good with helpful staff but not so good now. Have donated often and shopped here for years , not after today. Went to shop and when I was trying on pants in bathroom since they took out dressing rooms, was accosted, yelled at, escorted to front of store and told to "get out" by "little hitler". At least she "allowed" me to pay for my purchases before kicking me out. Unbelievable, a simple reminder of rules would have been enough, she really overreacted and embarrassed herself. Maybe hiring someone without mental issues would be a good idea. Just lost a customer who has donated generously over the years. read more

I've outed myself for my fondness of thrift stories so I don't think my affection for Savers will come as any surprise here. On any given day, I'd think that Savers may be offering 10,000 items (totally made that up - kinda like guessing the number of gum balls in a gallon jar), and on that day, I'll find anywhere from 0-6 amazing things I'm super excited to have just bought for pennies on the dollar. Among the things I've found at Savers: pro quality cookware and kitchen stuff, kids clothes and sport coats, vinyl albums and picture frames. It'll take you 20 minutes to make your way around. If you find anything, the chances are the price will be right. Occasionally, just when you thing you've found an amazing deal, you'll get to the register and find that it's some special sale and there's an extra xx% off most things. You won't find something every trip but the times you do find something - it's definitely worth your time every other time. read more

We discovered Savers while going to our favorite Mexican restaurant nearby. It's like the Goodwill store but the items are a bit more organized and much larger store than the Goodwill on Vivion. Most of the items are clothes which are neatly divided into kids, mens, and womens and then sorted by type (jeans, slacks, shirts, sweaters). There is a large selection of kitchen items, books, knick knacks, baskets and metal tins (seriously just throw them away) pillows, kids toys. They also had a pretty large section of Halloween costumes and accessories. The prices of items vary unlike goodwill. Higher end items are priced higher. Some items I think are priced too high but I have always found something I wanted every time we go. The kids love the shopping carts that roll around on the floor so that each one can get one and "help" us shop. Of course, keeping the kids entertained makes for a much more pleasant shopping experience. Also, if you donate items, you get a 20% off coupon for future purchase. read more

I'm a resaler and I used to donate/shop here 4-5 times a week. I no longer do so because they have chosen to raise their housewares prices to absurd levels. I was in there last week and they had common Corningware priced at 8.99-19.99, without lids. These are prices( with lids) you would expect in an antique mall but not a thrift store. They had a small ceramic ashtray price for 25.00! I asked an employee why they have raised their prices and he said that corporate had told them to check on eBay and price accordingly. Even if I were not in the resale business, I would not buy these items at those prices.. Even the local antique mall prices are far more reasonable. Savers only gives 30% discounts to veterans and even with the 20% discounts they offer for seniors and those who donate, there still isn't enough meat left on the bone for those of us who resell items. Forget Pyrex, that's even worse. Until they return to reasonable THRIFT STORE pricing, I will not be shopping here anymore. read more

Awesome Store. Very clean and well organized. Not your usual thrift store as the prices were great and I found a lot of great buys. I was looking for a new jacket and ended up buying jeans, 5 new shirts and 2 dresses. I will shop here again. Also everything benefits big brothers and big sisters in kc. This store is great! !! Will shop a lot as they told me they put out over 6000 new items daily. read more
