Usually we love Savers, not today. At this particular location off Rancho Rd in Las Vegas near N Las Vegas Airport we had a very bad shopping & checkout experience. When approaching checkout an employee whose name tag was removed during our conversing decided to eagle eye us in particular while checking out. Which was fine; but in the middle of checking out she came over and pushed her way in and started pulling things out of our bag and ripping tags off the clothes and told us to move over to the other checkout counter. She didn't want to make eye contact to tell us why she was having us moved or even answer my question as to why. She proceeded to grab all of our items and had us go to the checkout where her manager was, so I told him I thought it was extremely targeted and rude that she couldn't tell us what we were doing that she didn't like. He said he would talk to her and when I proceeded to ask for her name no one would tell me and he said to use his name since he was the manager. BUT I feel like her attitude was completely uncalled for and when I did ask for her name she had ripped her name tag off so I couldn't see. Then with other customers that were seemingly in her mindset, she decided to laugh. My friend told her don't laugh and I told her if she kept that up I'd get her fired for harassment. Their treatment of us today was appalling - I'm guessing she just assumed we were stealing and not scanning things. All she needed to do was ask us to double check and we wouldn't have had an issue with proper and professional communication. What is wrong with a little eye to eye communication? We feel sorry for her next victim! They shouldn't have people up front who aren't friendly in their interactions with customers. Anyways, they're teaching their employees to be way too over the top and singling people out who don't deserve it. This one location in particular needs better employee training and more friendly communication if you'd like people to keep shopping. The store itself was pretty organized, but with as many savers as there is, I'll avoid this one! read more

We bought a few things here, and enjoyed our experience overall. The prices seemed a bit lower here than at Savers in California. Aisles were spacious and maneuvering around the store was comfortable. This part of town looks a bit sad and neglected, so I guess it wasn't a surprise to see a security guard at the entrance. read more

I always go to the warm springs location, and the manger there is so kind and prices are reasonable. Today I went to this location at rancho and it's a joke!! Please look at the pictures attached! Here we have a black Zara T shirt from the website brand new priced the exact same thrifted from savers. Savage x fenty all year around special has the bra prices brand new same price thrifted at savers. Single glass bowl same ones from home goods priced at savers the same price you'll buy them brand new at home goods. I honestly am in shock why this location think they are superior to other locations and extremely over charge in a minority area compared to other locations in rich areas such as Henderson/summerlin. With this inflation most of us go to thrift stores to shop and pushing ppl away with prices is not right! Manager with glasses literally went through every item in our cart checking tags as if we were stealing from a thrift store lol. And we had a lot of items... Was super rude and treated us as if we did something wrong? Held the line up calling others over to examine our whole cart. The dress I had in there had a $19.99 tag on it and he said the tag was "tampered with" and refused to sell it. Got home and looked the dress up online, could have ordered it for $25 brand new so I have no clue what his deal was. But trying to embarrassing a customer that has thrifted there for years probably isn't the best idea as I won't be coming back to be treated as a criminal in a thrift shop lol. I keep seeing awful recent reviews & it's sad how many people don't like this store. My siblings & I can say other wise & vouch for this store. I've been coming to this thrift store for years now with family & friends... and to be honest the finds are always amazing. The prices can be a bit crazy but hey it's cheaper than the real world prices. I want to give Melanie a huge s/o because not only is she super sweet but she's now a close friend & everytime I go in with my brother she's the girl to share the amazing finds ! It's pretty average for a Savers. Crowded, sizes on clothes marked, artwork, housewares. Not much in the way of pet supplies but that be an area thing, or just a fluke. Cashier was efficient, if not friendly. No kids running around screaming which was nice. Bathrooms average, my Mom peed twice. /: Not the best area of town, but parking large, well lit. read more

Believe it or not Savers on Rancho has some amazing finds! I found a pair of well taken care of Hudson Jeans for $9.99. I also found some other pretty expensive brands for about the same price and good condition. I think I must've bought 6 pair of Jeans for under $45 which is a steal of a deal. All in great condition-- no holes, stains or rips that I could see. So far my visits here have been a total score and I'm so happy about that. There are other times that I walk out with 1 or 2 pieces of clothing-- but at least I get to take something home! So far no complaints and as far as I can see they get clothing and other items in everyday except on the weekends! And they also offer discounts if you're a savers member! You really can't beat this kind of thrifting! It's a 2 thumbs way way up for SAVERS!!! read more

Some manager named Lowry was unprofessional he should be coached. He came out didn't greet me after I took my belongings out the car and said they dont take that and watched me up and down the entire time putting it back in my car he definitely is not professional and forgot to provide my coupon they always give when you donate. I asked him if he could back up because I was uncomfortable with him staring at me not looking at anything else the entire time and he denied and said he could stand there. I called to try to inform of the incident and the employee just transferred me over to Lowry when I mentioned this individual made me uncomfortable why would I want to speak to them. I was truly shocked today when dropping off a car load of items to donate. Following the directions on the large green sign in the drop off zone which read "please pull all the way forward", I pulled all the way forward. The staff member who walked up to my car said " next time please don't just drive up and pull all the way forward". I'm not making this up! I pointed out the sign to him and he mentioned something about the car next to me that didn't follow directions. I'm not sure what that had to do with me but the point of this review is that I was treated rudely while GIVING items for this store to sell at a profit. I gain nothing from this transaction other than the hope that someone will benefit from my no longer needed items. From now on my donations will go elsewhere. read more

Location of this store is pretty terrible; the roads are all damaged and there are many homeless people in the front waiting for their next victim. To top it off, the parking/street lights do not work so I feel incredibly unsafe when shopping at night. The store itself is decent and has prices you would expect at a thrift store. There are self checkouts and so that means a lot of workers just stand around doing nothing waiting for assistance. Not my environment because of how unsafe it makes me feel. BECAREFUL read more

My husband and I pay for extra luggage just to thrift shop while in Vegas whenever we come (a few times a year). It's the only time we purchase our clothes. We used to LOVE Savers, but we're BEYOND disappointed after filling a cart full of potential buys to find out that Savers has ripped out all of their dressing rooms. I don't know who buys clothes without trying them on. I can't imagine they're making more money having no dressing rooms. We will be using Goodwill from here on out sadly. It's a Savers, but it's in a visually run down shopping center and the interior is in need of some TLC as well. The items available were okay, but I found nothing of interest. Not my favorite Savers location, but it's better than nothing. I didn't have any interaction with the staff and I left without purchasing anything. This store is hit or miss for items. Sometimes one can find decent buys and other times cannot find anything. Most of the employees seem miserable so if you need help, forget it. The men's section for clothes is about 1/8th the size of the women's section. If one is in the area, stop in but I certainly wouldn't make a special trip to shop here. read more

All this time I thought this chain was a bargain grocery store. Luckily, a coworker schooled me and into Savers I went- huge selection of clothing, accessories, books, and home decor, not to include furniture. Clothing is a bit dated (they are donations), but they carry all seasons at all times and buying off-season seems to net a bit more quality. I was impressed with the media selection of books and videos, with organized categories for adults and kids, many books are relatively recent and popular. Pricing is also good too: they offer buy-4-get-one-free and most books are under $4, including hardbacks. Low-priced jewelry selection available by registers, most items not quite my style but $2-5 for earrings is not a bad deal at all. On my first visit here I wasn't expecting much. I was actually a little hesitant to go inside because the parking lot & surrounding area is a bit sketchy but glad i did. I found some cute, like new dresses from Kimchi Blue, H & M, Ann Taylor Loft, BCBG and Hollister. Staff are always friendly & helpful. This paticular location is a hit or miss. For me it is always a hit. I can always seem to find some kind of bargain. Plus they have the members discount on Thursdays. Every Monday the put out a new tag color for sales. As for the employees they are always friendly I have never had a problem with that. read more

I go here occasionally and find it well organized and staff is always very courteous and helpful. Things are all grouped together by sizes and I have never had a bad experience here. Only downfall is that there appear to be many homeless people pandering in the parking lot these days so I try and go early. I have found several items I have been on the hunt for and they are always reasonably priced. Their reward system was down so they automatically gave me a 25% off on all items purchased. You are better off going to Ross, Burlington or Marshalls clearance racks, at least the items are new. This was the first Savers I shopped at in about 2012. Since then I have shopped at all the Savers in Las Vegas, two in Connecticut and one in the San Gabriel Valley, California. This is my favorite store of all. It's large and sends to have good product turnover. Some of the items I have found at Savers include two identical Ibex merino wool shirts worth over $100 each for $5 each, a Travel Pro rolling duffle bag worth about $130 for $6 and a brand new Orvis hanging toiletry bag worth $80 for $9. All the stores are well-organized and I find good deals on things about 60% of the time. If you think something is not good quality or over-priced, don't buy it. One of the reviewers here complained about the neighborhood this store is in. So what if it isn't in a middle class area? Get in, do your shopping and be happy with what you find. Be thankful you aren't the person in the parking lot asking for money and can afford to shop here. read more

It's an okay thrift store because there is really nothing here that appeals to me so I bought a pack of socks which I needed. My husband and I agreed that Savers is very clean and well organized. I've been to this Savers many times b/c it's close to my home. I decided to write a quick review today b/c I just learned that this thrift store is FOR-PROFIT! I prefer not-for-profit thrift stores. I guess I'll feel less guilty about Goodwill next time. I understand that Goodwill non-profit. Anyhow, here's my thoughts on Savers. The clothes are organized and not laying on the floor. I learned that people are very thoughtless and messy when looking at racks of clothes when I worked in a department store. Their clothing selection is abundant. I don't enjoy there general merchandise at the back of the store. It is disorganized and junky. The housewares and other aisles (on the shelving) are tidy and have a large amount of stock on them. I rarely find stuff I like at Savers. I look but I don't find anything. IDK why... maybe a timing thing or it's been picked over. read more

I would not recommend buying anything electronic or needs batteries or something that you can't make sure it's in running condition. My daughter and her 3 children just got out of a homeless shelter for domestic violence. She left everything behind had to start from scratch. She purchased a hand held steam cleaner from the store, and when she got home it did not work. It was actually missing a part. She brought it back and explained the situation to the store manager, and his words were all sales or final. Obviously they do not test their merchandise before they put it out for sale. If you are in need of a good thrift store I would recommend Desert Industries. I have been going to them for years and never had a problem. I once purchased something that broke the next day and they gave me store credit. I always come to this Savers and I always receive the best customer service. I buy alot of stuff and they are really patient with me and endearing/priceless. I had a large load/giant and my back is out.. They were understaffed but the manager still helped me to my car. The manager really appreciates the business. I went on half off day but noticed the prices for dishes were really high. The average mug is was over 2.00...Plates were 3.99 a piece..The average mug at other thrift stores is less than a dollar. I was glad to be there because I had a horrrrrible experience at the Charleston Store. I was treated horrible and told you you "ant seen attitude yet" I can show you attitude. My water spilled at the check out I asked the cashier foe paper towels. Then Manager told me your just going to leave it there. The cashier said "she asked for paper towels..I was spending around 350.00 and was even get 40 comic books for .99 cents due to cashier mistake. I spend a ton of money and that day I was so mistreated I couldn't take it anymore and I had to leave the stuff. I couldn't chose my greed for my pride and and worth as a customer. I saw horrible things that day and I ignored because I had BEYOND AMAZING STUFF. LOL I cried the next day. Bad karma if I gave that store my sales ..THE RANCHO STORE IS AMAZING ! Their is another manager that I called that say and she was apologetic and sweet. Anyway I went to Goodwill that week instead and spent 700 and got Tiffany cups ect. Of all the Savers in Vegas this is one has the nicest items. It's a thrift store chain btw. I drop of my gently used items from time to time, and they give me a 20% of coupon for my next purchase. For the most part the clothes are used. I'm usually not real big on buying used clothes, but this store has decent blouses and shirts that are still in style. I do have a few cool shirts that I really like. I got a pair of Candie's clogs that I still wear and get compliments on for $14.99. They always seem to have a interesting selection of paintings and pictures. I have been to other Savers locations and they seem messier and the items are always of lesser quality than this location. read more

My wife loves thrift stores and Savers is one of them. This particular Savers is not in the best of neighborhoods. I usually sit in the car and read and am at the very least, accosted two times, sometimes more for someone wanting to wash my windows, money for the bus or worse. As for the store ... my wife says its okay, some bargains and at least they say they are 'for profit' not like say, Goodwill who is a 'for profit' store and pretends they aren't. read more
