Savers Value Village was founded in 1954, and operates as a for-profit reseller of various merchandise. It has 315 location around the world, in the US, Canada and Australia (where I visited one of their stores earlier in the year). They purchase donated in bulk from charities, and then sorts through and reprices items for resale, sometimes for higher prices than when brand new. This was plainly obvious as my wife found examples where the original tag was kept on the merchandise, and had a LOWER price than the new sale tag...they should at least spend the effort to either remove the old tag or make sure the new price is lower. That being said, my wife did find a used Keurig coffee maker that she wanted to use as a secondary in case of need.

It's pretty good for what it is. I like this Savers location. Finding something I want is 50/50, but then it is based on donations. Nice customer service.

This Savers is close to home and a place that I frequent often. I've been lucky finding things from my past however it's not like before (as with any thrift store in Las Vegas). My best find was a beautiful vintage end table. It cost $4.99 and worth $550-$600 :) My daughter & I find clothes here as well. She recently found a brand new Olivia Rodrigo T-shirt from Target for only $5.99. As with every place, prices have gone up but there are deals to be found. We also donate here as well. Convenient drop off area located outside or a donation bin inside of the store. Employees are nice. Interior is fairly organized (depending on day). Parking is plentiful. I hope you decide to check them out :)

This will be the second time I exchange because they don't fit--- no way of trying them on anymore.

The Savers on Lake Mead & Rampart is one of the best places to donate items, especially furniture. Savers was the only thrift store that would take my items today. I tried donating my end tables at 2 other locations and was turned away. At Goodwill, I was told I would have to return tomorrow, but I don't have time for that so Savers was my last resort. I think that's why I like Savers the most out of any other thrift store in town because they never turn you down and they're friendly too. So my advice to anyone trying to donate furniture on a Sunday just go to Savers and save yourself time and gas. It's a 2 thumbs up for Savers on Lake mead!

So I stopped by to pick up a few items for an upcoming trip. Wow. OK. So I have to park way out. As I am walking in I see seriously hundreds of people. The checkout line is almost to the back wall. Good deal on the books. Found a few clothing items and made my way out. Checkout was all self checkout and very stressful. You have to do it in a very regimented manner. Got done and out. So happy to leave

    Had a sml hole - new - fr target - $2.49- 12/17/22

We visited this past saturday afternoon. Orange tags were half off. (I wonder if there is a senior discount. I should've asked.) Big change: Self-checkouts only with surveillance- there were ten that I noticed. I asked a clerk about the different pricing on the Target donated wool sweater (three different colors, three different prices), and she clarified it. It's based on the "Average", if the item is less than average, it is lower, if it's higher than average, it is priced higher. I looked primarily in womens clothing. I am always looking for wool sweaters. I found three new ones, donated by Target, and there were in different racks. One was in the "long sleeve" section ($2.49- it had a small hole in it, no biggee, I'm always mending something) and the others were in "sweaters." The sage green one was $5.49 (I passed on it because it was pretty wide looking), and the blue one was $7.49. I like my sweaters to be fitted. I was looking for jackets but didn't find any though. I also looked in holiday PJ's and I passed a Cuddl Duds llama long sleeve top, priced at $7.99. Hubby found a new looking Hallmark Christmas decorative item for $9.99 and searched an area to see if he could see if it worked, because, "All Sales Final" on holiday seasonal stuff. It worked! So we bought it. Our son looked at the Toys but stated it was "a knock-off Goodwill" version. I could've looked around more but I've got a ten minute window. Clean, nicely stocked, no funky smell. On monday, I got an email stating that all holiday items were 30% off. Jeez.

Designer clothes priced high $29.00 compared to $10 for used clothes. No smell to clothes. Designer bags are priced high for fake LV

When approaching checkout an employee whose name tag was removed during our conversing decided to eagle eye us in particular while checking out. Which was fine; but in the middle of checking out she came over and pushed her way in and started pulling things out of our bag and ripping tags off the clothes and told us to move over to the other checkout counter. She didn't want to make eye contact to tell us why she was having us moved or even answer my question as to why. She proceeded to grab all of our items and had us go to the checkout where her manager was, so I told him I thought it was extremely targeted and rude that she couldn't tell us what we were doing that she didn't like. He said he would talk to her and when I proceeded to ask for her name no one would tell me and he said to use his name since he was the manager. BUT I feel like her attitude was completely uncalled for and when I did ask for her name she had ripped her name tag off so I couldn't see. Then with other customers that were seemingly in her mindset, she decided to laugh. My friend told her don't laugh and I told her if she kept that up I'd get her fired for harassment. Their treatment of us today was appalling - I'm guessing she just assumed we were stealing and not scanning things. All she needed to do was ask us to double check and we wouldn't have had an issue with proper and professional communication. What is wrong with a little eye to eye communication? We feel sorry for her next victim! They shouldn't have people up front who aren't friendly in their interactions with customers. Anyways, they're teaching their employees to be way too over the top and singling people out who don't deserve it. This one location in particular needs better employee training and more friendly communication if you'd like people to keep shopping. The store itself was pretty organized, but with as many savers as there is, I'll avoid this one!

They texted that they cancelled b/c the driver couldn't find the location. No call, no text from the driver. I gave very clear instructions as to how to find my apartment as well as the gate code. The food delivery people never have an issue finding my place, and I literally copied the same instructions I give them. So...that just tells me no one came out or ever was going to. I now have two very heavy boxes of 90 books sitting at the base of my stairs. Terrible service. Would not recommend. I was just trying to donate to a better cause than Goodwill, but I guess that was a bad idea. Horribly run. You can't even speak to a person. You just have to leave voicemails. Don't waste your time. **Update: As you can see from his response to this Yelp review, the owner does not take responsibility for the poor customer service. My account is not a fraud & I am still actively reviewing other businesses. My books were all in pristine condition and all pretty new (see pictures). Mostly hard cover new-releases, best sellers. They were not water-logged or insect infested. How does he know the condition of my books if no one ever showed up to get them? Here's a hint...Do what you say you're going to do. Keep your appointments. Don't slander people who are trying to donate almost $2,000 worth of books to your organization. It's not a good look. Tom, clearly you have a lot of time on your hands if you keep posting responses to my Yelp review. Maybe if you put more time into your business, it would run smoother. The point is, I had an appointment at 11:00 am. The books were at the base of my staircase as I mentioned in my reservation. They were still there at 1:30 pm, so I called and I received a text that the driver was on his way. That is 2 1/2 hours later. I opened my door again at 5:30 pm and looked down my stairs, the boxes were still there. The address I provided is my correct address. I even included my building number, unit number and the gate code. There is a map by the gate to direct your driver to the building number I provided. If every single Uber Eats driver, Amazon driver, Door Dash driver, Fed Ex driver, UPS driver can figure it out, surely your driver can too. And if not, why no call or text? I would be happy to provide additional directions, if the driver was having trouble. A no-show is poor business. A no-show with no notification is even worse. If you couldn't make it, a simple call or text would have been fine and I would not have been upset. Inconvenienced yes, but not upset. The fact that I had to initiate not one but two calls SIX AND A HALF HOURS after my scheduled appointment coupled with the audacity that you have to lie and slander me is why you have this one-star review. Do better.

The selection strikes that perfect balance between unique, vintage finds and modern pieces, making it easy to uncover something that feels both personal and one-of-a-kind. As partners in both business and vision, they bring a level of care and professionalism that you can feel throughout the entire store. One of the reasons I personally enjoy coming here is because of how intentional they are with every item. They don't just put products on the floor-- they go through everything. Clothes are washed, cleaned, and carefully prepared. Repairs are made with attention to detail, ensuring each piece is truly ready for its next home. I even saw this firsthand with a washing machine they had for sale-- they had gone through it completely, repaired it, cleaned it, and presented it in such a pristine condition. It looked almost brand new. That level of pride and workmanship speaks volumes about who they are and how seriously they take their business.
