I've been a loyal customer at this Savers for a long time, and thrifting here has always been my favorite way to unwind after work. Unfortunately, today was the most unpleasant experience I've had. While I fully respect the closing times, from about 30 minutes before close, a staff member began repeatedly shouting over the intercom. At 7:57 p.m., I was at the back of the store, literally about to head up to pay, when the new security guard approached me and sternly said the store was closed. I checked my phone and calmly said, "It's 7:57; I've got three minutes," as I was preparing to head up front. He walked to the front, where my mom was already in line, and spoke negatively about me to another staff member, not realizing she was my mom. As I walked toward the front to pay, he continued glaring at me with an angry expression. My mom and I exchanged a look, surprised by the hostility. I love this store, but no customer should feel targeted or unwelcome for simply shopping until it's time to pay. I hope management can address this so loyal customers like myself can feel welcome again. read more

It's been a hit and miss trying to buy anything at this location. Goods first: -some decent cheap furniture from time to time -pretty organized over all -easy drive through donation process What could be better -pricing seems to high sometimes for items specially since they are all donated (found items with higher price tag compared to original store price tag)!!! -the store always smells be big musky not in a good way -lots of broken or damaged items in the furniture section -I was told no bathroom by a staff member while I was pregnant! read more

Savers Value Village was founded in 1954, and operates as a for-profit reseller of various merchandise. It has 315 location around the world, in the US, Canada and Australia (where I visited one of their stores earlier in the year). They purchase donated in bulk from charities, and then sorts through and reprices items for resale, sometimes for higher prices than when brand new. This was plainly obvious as my wife found examples where the original tag was kept on the merchandise, and had a LOWER price than the new sale tag...they should at least spend the effort to either remove the old tag or make sure the new price is lower. That being said, my wife did find a used Keurig coffee maker that she wanted to use as a secondary in case of need. read more

This Savers is close to home and a place that I frequent often. I've been lucky finding things from my past however it's not like before (as with any thrift store in Las Vegas). My best find was a beautiful vintage end table. It cost $4.99 and worth $550-$600 :) My daughter & I find clothes here as well. She recently found a brand new Olivia Rodrigo T-shirt from Target for only $5.99. As with every place, prices have gone up but there are deals to be found. We also donate here as well. Convenient drop off area located outside or a donation bin inside of the store. Employees are nice. Interior is fairly organized (depending on day). Parking is plentiful. The Savers on Lake Mead & Rampart is one of the best places to donate items, especially furniture. Savers was the only thrift store that would take my items today. I tried donating my end tables at 2 other locations and was turned away. At Goodwill, I was told I would have to return tomorrow, but I don't have time for that so Savers was my last resort. I think that's why I like Savers the most out of any other thrift store in town because they never turn you down and they're friendly too. So my advice to anyone trying to donate furniture on a Sunday just go to Savers and save yourself time and gas. It's a 2 thumbs up for Savers on Lake mead! read more

So I stopped by to pick up a few items for an upcoming trip. Wow. OK. So I have to park way out. As I am walking in I see seriously hundreds of people. The checkout line is almost to the back wall. Good deal on the books. Found a few clothing items and made my way out. Checkout was all self checkout and very stressful. You have to do it in a very regimented manner. Got done and out. Overpriced, dirty and broken items spread in a disorganized way. For as much traffic that the donation next door gets, it is ridiculous that the shelves are so bare and such a mess. Never going back. read more

This is the only savers I avoid. I've made multiple trips to try and give it the benefit of the doubt but I believe management is the issue. The shelves are empty and the few items lying around are priced above 10$. I've overheard one of the managers telling a customer how much some glass bowl sells on eBay and that's why it's behind the jewelry display case. Just shady stuff going on here. Savers is much better then goodwill and they offer a 20% coupon for donations which is great. Just avoid this location the outdoor furniture is always stocked to the brim with 60$ ikea shelves and couches covered in dog hair. The self checkout line is a nightmare and the employee with green hair seems just as annoyed to be at this location as I was. Please just give your business to the other locations. read more

We visited this past saturday afternoon. Orange tags were half off. (I wonder if there is a senior discount. I should've asked.) Big change: Self-checkouts only with surveillance- there were ten that I noticed. I asked a clerk about the different pricing on the Target donated wool sweater (three different colors, three different prices), and she clarified it. It's based on the "Average", if the item is less than average, it is lower, if it's higher than average, it is priced higher. I looked primarily in womens clothing. I am always looking for wool sweaters. I found three new ones, donated by Target, and there were in different racks. One was in the "long sleeve" section ($2.49- it had a small hole in it, no biggee, I'm always mending something) and the others were in "sweaters." The sage green one was $5.49 (I passed on it because it was pretty wide looking), and the blue one was $7.49. I like my sweaters to be fitted. I was looking for jackets but didn't find any though. I also looked in holiday PJ's and I passed a Cuddl Duds llama long sleeve top, priced at $7.99. Hubby found a new looking Hallmark Christmas decorative item for $9.99 and searched an area to see if he could see if it worked, because, "All Sales Final" on holiday seasonal stuff. It worked! So we bought it. Our son looked at the Toys but stated it was "a knock-off Goodwill" version. I could've looked around more but I've got a ten minute window. Clean, nicely stocked, no funky smell. On monday, I got an email stating that all holiday items were 30% off. Jeez. read more

The workers here are great. My husband and I went to donate and we were going to unload and they came straight to the trunk. We thought we had to unload everything but they helped tremendously. They were kind and quick. They provide paperwork for proof of donation as well. read more

Went on a Monday afternoon. It was pretty packed, there were no carts available, the line was wrapped toward the back of the store. This location does not have dressing rooms so there were people trying on items over their clothes in the aisles. Also remember to bring your own bags or be prepared to pay for a bag. I grazed through and found a few fabulous items, once I don't Mmmm me the line had gone down. Staff was very friendly and have great sense of humor. Will definitely be my favorite Savors location. read more

This place used to be amazing. Back when I first started thrifting ~7 years ago, I would find designer items all the time and nothing was over $10. Not sure what happened but this store is so overpriced now. As of December 2022, the price of most women's clothing STARTS at $7 (and this is for clothing that isn't designer or name brand). I found a used polyester coat for.... 30 dollars. Despite my annoyance with the prices, if you have an hour or two and you look through EVERY section, you may be able to find something nice. They also ripped out all of the fitting rooms and there's maybe 3 mirrors in the entire store. read more

I'M NEVER DONATING HERE EVER AGAIN. Donate elsewhere. I watched the car in front of me have assistance unloading his stuff, and when he was done I pulled up to the sign that says to stop here and an attendant will assist you. I waited 10 minutes, while watching the young black guy sit on his phone and the young Hispanic guy rolling some bins around. Both completely ignoring me. I got out of my car and asked if I'm supposed to put my stuff in the bins myself and the latter guy said yeah. SINCE WHEN???? That's not what your sign says. They did not offer me a tax itemization ticket. Did not offer me a coupon. Didn't get a hello nor a thank you. This is the last time I donate here... I REGRET DONATING MY STUFF HERE. I should have driven further to a store that appreciates my donation. I called and asked to speak to a manager and they would not transfer me until I explained the whole story of why I wanted to speak to a manager. They must get a lot of manager requests and I'm not surprised why. read more

The quality of clothes was so bad. Ripped and faded articles for children going for $7-13 doesn't really make me feel like I'm "saving" anything. To be fair I didn't dig through everything but what I did was not worth purchasing. read more

Some decent finds if you're willing to look through the mess, since there's a high rate of turnover. The low rating is because dogs (not service dogs) are apparently allowed in the store and it just gives everything an icky feel to it. People absolutely need service dogs, but regular canine buddies should stay out of stores. read more

I use to love going to Savers. I'm forced to go to this one cause the one that was closest to me shut down during covid. So not only is this one out of my way, it's also not fun to go to anymore. They have gone ridiculous with their prices. Even worse then what Goodwill charges. They cut up the magazines to omit the address labels. They could have just simply blacked out the labels without destroying the magazine. And their toy bags aren't what they use to be. All gone downhill. read more

I think the attitude of the manager of the store could be improved. It's a little Hispanic lady the one that's overweight that wears spandex she's easy to identify. Because she's always got an unhappy look on her face. I guess she's never heard the idea that we're all monetarily compensated based on her skill sets. Haven't been here in a while. Very disappointed. Prices raised, no longer a good deal. Only self checkout and they charge you for bags. This will be my last time here. I'm not an employee and don't want to check myself out and bag my purchases (had to use hand scanner which is not sanitized after each use as the main scanner wasn't working. Manager is a joke, worker clearly states that machine hasn't been working all day for coupons and instead of overriding for my discount lectures me on how the coupon I got THAT I HAVENT USED has been used and how I should know it's one time use. First I want to say that the Hispanic lady with grey hair about 5 foot is very rude. It looks like someone already left a review about her and added her photo. I can confirm she is very unprofessional, aggressive and flat out rude. Shouldn't work here. Prices are outrageous. $15 for some tee shirts. Just cuz they're name brand does not make them gold. They get this stuff for free people. Also, sometimes items won't have tags on them and you will have to ask one of the managers for a price. But, they act like they get paid commission for that item and charge high. Especially if it "looks old" or is a name brand. read more

Raised the prices on everything in the store. Took out the dressing rooms, employees are not helpful or friendly at all. Bathrooms are locked with a code my 4 year old almost peed his pants because we couldn't find a employee to help us. I will never go back there again!!!! read more
