I called their office and left a message and no one called me back. I also emailed them and someone did respond and I called the number and email and left another message. I waited 3 days for a call back because I was in pain and I needed a dental care right away. When I called back, the first thing out of their mouth, they were not taking one insurance and needed my insurance information before they could book the appointment. Just to be clear I do have dental insurance and actually have supplemental dental insurance through USAA. I called my insurance companies and confirmed the dental plan that I had. I called back again. It has been two weeks since I called and I never called back. Ended up going back to a previous dentist who got me in right away and I will post a review on them. This review is not for their dental service, but the fact that their office staff doesn't even take the time to ask why are you calling and is there anything we can help you with. Plus they don't return phone calls.

After explaining that a crown is needed he got to work preparing the tooth to accept the crown. Assisted by a wonderful young lady Ayannah they numbed me up and before I knew it Ayannah was making a temporary crown right there next to me. After a few adjustments she glued the temp in place like she's been doing it for 20 years. Everyone who worked on me today was very professional and made me feel as if I was in the best hands. After today I know Dr Kawano and his awesome assistants like Ayannah and his Son Derek (who shares the practice) are at the top of their field. Crazy Bernie is now a HUGE fan of Kawano Dental!!!

There are people who don't follow the same faith as you and you're not encouraging them to be repeat clients when they feel like they're being proselytized to for 2 straight hours in the waiting room.

I went to visit a dentist and it was only just to get deep cleaning and a cavity filled however I…read moream so traumatized from the dentist from back in the 70s, all that grinding and drilling bothers me so the dentist gave me anti-anxiety meds to take for my procedure. Well, those pills did not work so they decided to give me a shot of I don't know what to help calm me down. The shot did not work either, it actually gave me the worst anxiety that I ever had. I think I became belligerent to where they were going to call the paramedics to come take me to the hospital. The next day I called that dentist office and they told me that I need to go see a sedation dentist and I Could never come back to their office again. They referred me to Dr. Smith. when I got there I was still a little afraid but they were so kind and warm and welcoming so I decided to allow Dr. Smith and his staff to perform the deep cleaning, cavity fill, crown and put an implant post in at the same time under anesthesia. The experience was amazing! They did not make me feel like I was a big crybaby because I was, they treated me with respect and kindness. And at the age of 59 years, you would think that I would be able to handle simple procedures but can't. I do recommend Dr.Smith's office if you're afraid of going to the dentist. Go and get that smile you deserve! I did!! Thank you Dr Smith and staff from the front office to the back office... and his anesthesiologist was the greatest I've ever dealt with!

The entire office staff is very personable. I know there have been negative reviews for Isabella, but I have had great interaction with her. She is really very funny if you get past your own self interest. Dr. Hsiao took over my original dentist's practice when he was killed in a motorcycle accident, and I know Frank would be very proud of the way Dr. Hsiao took on his patients. I am glad to be associated with this dental practice!

I had prior work done, I've seen the full mouth x rays before, but they charged me to take more. Not only is a system failure concerning, but to charge me for their mistake & "comfort" me by assuring me my insurance covered most of it is unacceptable. The hygienist asked me where I wanted to start on the next visit since I require multiple things. I said I'm unsure, let's ask the dentist. The dentist looked for 7 seconds (without gloves.) and he confirmed we should start on the crown. The crown he wanted to replace was on the wrong side and it was a crown their office just did not long ago. All very concerning to say the least. Will not go back.

Called around but OnCall Dental kept up with the return calls on helping me book my appt & offering diff payment options due to not having dental insurance. The next morning Jen got me in in 1.5hrs! The office is very clean, had good energy & aura about it. Genevieve is an absolute doll! Very informative, caring, attentive. Dr Gates is a magician! Great bedside manner & very thorough. I understand the reason behind canceling but his office could have had the decency to notify all of his patients who were waiting for dental procedures that his office no longer took medical insurance for those services. I've seen Dr. Mirelez on so many commercials or infomercial and the way he talks speaks about being compassion and you would think he would have a little more empathy for patients who can't afford to pay for dental care and need that medical insurance to help pay for their treatment. Sometimes his office staff just needs to work a little bit harder to recover funds from the insurance companies! I cared for my chronically ill wife for 30 years took medical leave from my job for 12 years. That's what true patient care is!!! Now I needed dental care and was waiting for my medical and dental insurance to activate but to be let down by Dr. Mirelez and his office staff!
