I spoke honestly saying the pics that you sent me do not have a date or time since ,and I ask to corp send me pics with date and time like police will do if you cross a red light ,we are in 2025 the technology is there. Anyways the corp said they should have the location that picket the jeep call there so they can show you. I called "we cannot show unless we have the permission of the manager I will check with her and we will call you ,still waiting. and this guy called Mike from the corp called me and bullied me how I was going to pay and so rudely hung up the phone the amount was 1,900.00 . A Total Scam--Avoid at All Costs…read more This was hands-down the worst rental car experience I've ever had. I booked the car online with my debit card, and the website gladly took my money--no problem there. But when I showed up to pick up the car, I was told by Mary they don't accept debit cards for the security deposit. Funny how that very important detail is nowhere to be found when you're booking. To make it worse, I offered to use my husband's credit card for the deposit, and even had him call and give verbal permission--they still refused, because he wasn't physically present. So just to be clear: they're happy to take your money online, but when you show up, they'll refuse to give you the car over some technicality they never warned you about. I even went to Budget.com to show their debit card policy and Mary refused to honor it and claimed to have made this new rule last week. There were 2 other people there waiting to pick up their pre-paid/reserved cars only to be turned away due to this arbitrary debit card policy. The office itself? A dirty, run-down shack in a random car shop parking lot. There is ONE person working at a snail's pace. I waited in line for 30 min just to be told I was out of luck. Nothing is automated--everything is done on paper, and they're using a computer straight out of 2002. It's like stepping into a time warp, except no one warned you it would also ruin your travel plans. This place is disorganized, misleading, and an absolute waste of time. Do not book here--you'll regret it.

I was met at the door and told I was late because my reservation was at 6 and he was going home. I will be sending an email to corporate and never booking from here again. Based on the reviews, I see that is the wrong place to go, but I didn't see it before because I used the uber app to rent. Now, I have to wait until tomorrow to go someplace else. I will no longer be using Budget rental to say the least!
