You know you're getting old when you start buying things from places that have the words "Save" and "Surplus" on their name. Can't be a bad thing really because saving money is cool and responsible (and insanely difficult if you are me haha...)!
Though, if you really want some cheap stuff for your house/apartment/humble abode of choice, do check out Save on Surplus for some really great deals. They mostly sell appliances, furniture, sports gear, electronics, and whole lot of other things imported from the US. If you're looking for affordable, vinyl players, they have this brand called Dick Smith (not the best name out there, I know). They have a great selection of affordable kitchen appliances for just about everything. If you're the outdoorsy type, they have a lot of sports gear such as balls, outfits, and even camping gear.
I personally think that they do offer great deals on most of their items, you just have to choose 'em well and make sure you consider quality (not all will be brand spanking new) and for electronics, consider voltage requirements and warranty. read more
