We'll I walked into the store and it was very different. It was opened up and bright and there was a gentleman and young woman behind the counter that were both very pleasant. But I was surprised. What happened to John. We'll, looks like he retired. The gentleman at the counter was Bhavik Shah. He was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. He took me through the store and helped me get 11 cigars, I was hoping for 10, and although I spent more than I really wanted, I felt like I got a great value and a stunning selection. And on top of it I got a military discount. All pluses in my book. So new owner, but the service is outstanding and the offerings have expanded. It was a true pleasure to meet you Bhavik. The only place I've ever found that comes close are the largest of Chicago's Binny's, and even then, Party Source was bigger. It's huge. It's (literally) right over the Cincinnati/Kentucky river and is legally Kentucky, so it has a wider selection than Ohio's controlled liquor laws, BUT the price can occasionally be higher here as well. They're employee-owned, though, so if it comes between buying something at Wal-mart or here....I know what I'm doing. They have a wide selection (though they don't always have everything we're looking for), and there are very rarely any stock holes. I can always check online to see if they have something - though the prices in-store are usually lower than the prices they list online. Whether they have an item (or not) has always matched up with their online listings, though. Their big claim to fame are their events. Their "free tastings!" events were some of the largest I've ever been to. They also have a small section full of party supplies (tableclothes, etc.). I'd guess they must sell enough of it, or they'd have swapped it out to more alcohol selections instead. They have a gigantic wine selection. Their beer selection is solid and even has a full aisle of single cans for tasting things. They tend to get huge seasonal offerings, too, if you're someone who likes limited releases. They have a few entire aisles of THC beverages and a whole rotunda of mini bottles. Their liquor selection is good (though I'd say the liquor-to-liquor selection comparison is on-par with some of the larger Binny's). An impressive selection of cocktail supplies, too, like bitters. This is, by far, my favorite place to shop during the holidays for all of those bottle gift sets. They carry a HUGE selection.
