I've been here on and off on occasion to shop for anything.. not much of an issue I just get my stuff and check out and the associates been fine. Of course this was in the past like a decade to years ago to last week. but anyway I was made aware on my Amazon app that save mart locations had an Amazon returns drop box .. and I sometimes I'm too late outside the closing hours for the UPS store to do my return so I went here a couple times.. and I was looking for it but a customer pointed me in the right direction where to go. Simple drop box and instructions.. and a scanner.. but when I'm about to put in my return, a previous return rice cooker or crock pot was inside part of the way in the bin and not fully dropped in. I was returning something somewhat small in a padded envelope; it wouldn't close for a bit but after fiddling around I got them both to drop and closed the lid. Successfully got credited after a couple of days. And I've came here again another 2nd time.. of course no issue. Now of course the kiosk prompts "if I shopped for anything " either a yes or no question. It's been no each time. I don't know if they track that. So 3rd time tonight .. and this is like 8pm or a bit so the same times I've came here; it was "offline " and it said to see a clerk for assistance. I had something small as an envelope size. I walked around and asked an older gentleman if he can help and he sounded pretty irritated "buddy I don't know any of that stuff you gotta ask the ladies at the counter" and he pointed and one clerk that was free and two others like looked my direction .. so she asked and I pointed my small thing.. and she asked if it's full .. said yes according to the display and said to ask for an associate.. she replied "they left for today at 5... " soooo.. they can't help or don't want to.. and like two other girls looked my direction and bit annoyed .. I just walked away saying "ok whatever" and they just stared like annoyed. So... I think they really really really really really really really reallllllllllllllllllyyyyy really really don't like the Amazon return implementation especially when the customers start bugging for assistance.. like I mean REALLY. I don't know.. but I wanted to drop this off asap so I'm just rather going to cancel and reinstate my return for either staples or UPS retail store because this seems pretty inconvenient. I'll just come here to get random shit when needed like beer before hitting up some homies in the neighborhood.. or food dishes for a potluck at work which is nearby also .. deodorant or body wash to use at this gyms shower nearby after working out... But sheesh, I'm not doing any Amazon returns anymore I'll just mosy on back to UPS read more

This place has everything you need with a great location which is not so busy as the other side of the freeway where SPROUTS is. It's not fancy but has all the basics and everything you need. Is not like SAFEWAY in that it lacks a lot of services like a deli. The prices are fair , not as cheap as Food Maxx but a little cheaper than Safeway. The best thing I like about it is the cleanliness and they have self checkout .Not a lot more to say that is simple grocery store with decent prices and fully stocked . In fact , I believe they are making a brand new under construction in town so be on the lookout for a better version of save mart . read more

5 for 5. I checked the QR code as to what was included and the ad showed other items. The ad said to scan the code to see what else was included. I have yet to have all the items that I want to purchase available at any Save Mart but especially this one. I've stopped going for those specials. read more

Still crap! No one seems to be listening. I would really like to see management listen to their customers. Put everything back the way it was. Things are terribly organized, backwards and in odd places. Until this is fixed I'm going elsewhere. Customers expect to be able to go in and be part of a community store where they know where items are because they frequent an establishment, not play Where's Waldo every time they come in. You lost a weekly customer. I'll bet that's about a $600-700 loss per month to the bottom line. Wonder how many others are going elsewhere. read more

If I need something last minute but I was completely turn off from coming here a week ago when I witnessed a customer.Come in and ask for assistance to get one of the christmas trees outside. One of the women cashiers, was very rude to her and said that they don't have people that can help them load the tree. The customer wasn't asking for help to load a tree. She was asking how to pay for one and who to talk to. That this woman cashier was so rude. With no customer service skills at all, and the girl just ended up leaving without buying a tree. This isn't the first time that the i have witnessed the women cashiers here.Being rude and short with customers who are just asking questions or need help. This review is for the tamale vendor in the parkk g lot. The cheese jalapeno tamale starts with a spicy chili sensation then is tempered by the cheese. Like a grilled cheese sandwoch with jalapenos but these have bigger pieces of jalapeno so you get the spicy contrasted with smooth and creamy of the cheese. The red pork ones are moist and have nonsweet pulled pork texture. Best tamales i have had in memory. The panda express and other food options nearby are awful. read more

This review is coming from a local frequent shopper. All the staff is so nice except the asian lady with really short hair that always works the register. Her attitude is so draining to the point where I'd rather wait in a longer line than deal with her bad energy. I know everyone has bad days but that's just her flat out attitude. She's in the customer service industry so if she doesn't like her job she should find a new one. Honestly today was my last straw with her. I was falsely accused of not paying for my items and she decided to raise her voice across the store in front of everyone. I found it to be very unprofessional. That is not a way to address anyone. Never... Never again will I ever order a birthday cake from this bakery! Whoever decorated my daughters 10th birthday cake should be fired... It is a good thing that the manager in the bakery was very understanding and helpful, however, this is my daughter's 10th birthday cake and I expected so much more... If I was the persons manager, today would have been their last day... the cake border was not trimmed properly and did not stick to the sides of the cake properly... I asked for an edible image on top of the cake, and there wasn't one... they had to stick plastic butterflies into my daughters cake... I'm glad that I did not ask for a more elaborate design, because it would've looked like trash... they did not even call me to notify me that they did not have the edible image. This is unacceptable... Next time, I will just go to Costco... At least I know I can rely on them for good quality. read more

I will no longer shop at Savemart!!There are a lot of options when purchasing groceries, but sometimes convenience out weighs discounts and is the main reason why I had shopped there: My experience in Save Mart off of Harlan Road in Lathrop continues to get worse on every visit. First off the smell of that store is awful but still somewhat tolerable. My wife gets nauseous every time she shops there. Note: Never buy meat at that store! Overpriced and horrible cuts of meat. Having to use the app to clip a coupon for item savings is like having to clip paper coupons to get the discount. I don't have the time for that. Can't you Just take the sale price at the register like every other grocery outlet out there. You can have a rewards program, but keep your discounts to automatic when you check out. Produce is not horrible though. TBH, The worst thing about Savemart off of Harlan Road is the lack of staffing. There is always long lines and only 1 or 2 registers open. Today I experienced horrible customer service from the on duty Manager Sonia who was extremely short and rude to me. Her short tempered attitude continued with other customers. I am a courteous easy going individual, but this is the last straw for me. Enough for me to write a negative review which is not very often. This will be the last time I ever shop at a Savemart. Literally the worst grocery outlet out there. You would think in these tough times service levels would be at there highest with all the choices out there to shop, but unfortunately that's not the case at this Savemart. Spend the extra few bucks to drive to a store further out that not only saves you more money, but treats its customers with respect and courtesy. Literally the worst grocery store to shop at. Obviously you go in just for what you need and walk out. But it's all about the experience also. This store has had the most unfriendliest people working. They don't say thank you or hi and just throw your money back at your hand. Why are they so miserable here ? I love coming to this Save Mart. They are in a strip mall with lots of other businesses, however they have a large parking lot so there is never a problem getting a space. The store is always clean and mostly stocked very well. I know currently everyone is experiencing some shortages, so occasionally I have seen some product shelves empty, but I understand it is not the stores fault. All of the employees are very nice and helpful They have a large produce section with fresh items to choose from. They also have a large freezer section with many options. read more

I have had to throw away meat several times that I bought from savmart. I had two steaks I had to throw out today. I bought them on Monday. The sell by date is 5/1/21. Today is 4/29. Ive had them in the fridge the whole time. Their ground beef is even worse. I bought 1 lb of 80/20 on the same day and it was bad by Wednesday. Same sell by date. read more

I'm a regular driver work for a company in Turlock! come here 2 times a week! sometimes it's good days thier other are horrible! it starts with the really rude lady that checks you in! i had an app at 9:30am to deliver 2 pallets. I arrived at , 9:15am. was told to wait for a phone call! it's gonna be 11am and still haven't gotten a call. so I go to see what's going on and the lady very rude tells me to go back to my truck and wait! nearly yelling at me for no reason! I asked how much longer and she said that my load is a really big load thierfor, they don't have any doors. she said my load will be last, due to the size of the load! I've shopped this store since it first appeared in Lathrop and now exclusively for the past 11 years. Except for a few "old timers" there, this is no longer a pleasant experience. The clerks and cashiers are pretty surely and never offer to assist with cart to car. That really isn't an issue but a nice courtesy and sometimes a little extra help is appreciated. The past manager was very personable and helpful, while now I don't think there is a manager, I've never seen one. Overall the moral is really bad and again unless I see a familiar face it is an unpleasant experience. We won't discuss prices, I'm going give benefit of the doubt and say the store doesn't have a lot of control over that. But, they do have the ability to be pleasant and kind. read more

Be sure and look extra hard when making your purchase Continually find out of date products every time I shop at that store Poor management too much product left over so they pull it to the front and unsuspecting consumers get stuck with outdated product which they have to return at a later date when they realize they just got taken. Very inconvenient not everybody has time to stop and look at everything when they're in a hurry to see about the date. The meats and butcher are nothing impressive yet they have great deals sometimes. (5 for 25) Produce selection is ok, prices are high though. You have to be in a good mood when entering or exiting this place as everyone smiles and gives you a wonderful "hello" For those Yelpers who hate this place, you might check out Peter's Market in French Camp or SF Market in Stockton; Save Mart in Lathrop is many times better than the above places. When I shop at Save Mart I am confident I will be alive tomorrow because of how sanitary the place is and the total lack of criminal loiters in the parking lot. I'm trying to familiarize myself with local stores as I'm just moving into the area. I'm almost certain that I'll be shopping at Target but I want to know all of the options. I found the prices to be a bit high, even compared to Raley's. Maybe, it's just the combination of things that I would buy, or when I'm in full work mode, it might be better than my first experience. I started to pick up a small drink and the price was worse than a convenience store, which is difficult to believe.
