The Save Mart Center in Fresno offers a top-tier experience with its impressive acoustics and great sightlines from every seat. It's a well-organized venue that consistently delivers high-quality entertainment and a smooth atmosphere for fans. My boyfriend enjoyed the surprise for the Jo Koy Comedy show! We had a blast and I'd highly recommend the Save Mart Center whether it's for a concert or show! It was nice and cool and super clean also.

This is a great venue for concerts, comedy shows and events in Fresno. Plenty of seating; wherever you sit, decent view of the stage. Pay to park in there parking lot. Cashless pay system and clear bags are recommended.

I drove here from Los Angeles to see someone in concert, the place was cool, it had an ok selection of food and drinks and the views from our seats were good . I would definitely come back and will someday to see another concert or event .

This place has the worst seats and personal space ever. We could not even move. We hit our front neighbors more than twice. Poor lady. The concert and the artist were awesome! The bathrooms were very clean. I didn't get any food , so, I don't know what they had. I saw some people coming in with big tall skinny drinks. I would supposed they were margaritas, and also I saw some people with fries and hotdogs. The place is big so we went around the whole building to find our seats. We really enjoyed ourselves!! It was an awesome show!!

I've been here many times for concerts. Recently went back to see The Blippi Wonderful World Tour with my daughter, husband and my friend/co-worker and her toddler and hubby. Parking was $25 they only took cards and they give you a pamphlet of their bag policy. Clear bags or a small clutch. Diaper bags are okay. They have security bag checks as you enter and then they scan your tickets at the door. They sold food such as hamburgers, fries, hotdogs, chips and pizza. Still alittle over priced but it's what's usually expected at venues. My husband and I ordered the Blippi Meal for our toddler $7 (pb&j sandwich, apple juice and chips) and we got a hot dog and hamburger meal with fries and water. The hot dog and hamburger was nothing special the fries were surprising good, fresh and crunchy. Condiments are self serve. The workers at the concession stand were nice and mentioned that they are volunteers and the tips that we give go towards a dance fundraiser. There's also workers checking your tickets and assisting with finding your seats. We bought floor seats thinking it would give our kids room to dance if they wanted too, which wasn't the case. Seats were cushioned and were semi comfortable. But there was not a whole lot of space between the seats infront of you. Restrooms were clean. The kids had an amazing time.

    The crowd almost full!

I have been waiting to write this review since 2019 but when the Pandemic hit it cancelled a lot of the events that were going on. I can remember when they were building the Save Mart Center was a little girl maybe in elementary school. I've gone here so many times! My older sister graduated Fresno State and I graduated Fresno State so both of our graduations were at the SaveMart Center! My first concert I have ever been to was in 2014 seeing my all time Favorite Pop star P!nk! What a magical night and my love for the Save Mart center continue to grow from comedy shows to live music events, shows WWE, Babyshark, Paw Patrol! Everyone comes here! I remember Usher, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson, Pitbull and so on. I have only to handful of concerts PitBull 2019 or 2020 and Chris Brown 2019 before COVID, the Paw Patrol Show 2019 as well. We had planned to go see Wild N Out with Saweetie in March 2020 but it got canceled due to the shut downs. My parents and I in 2018 saw the Comedy Jam with major headliner such a fun time! The dude and I came to the Savemart Center after the pandemic which was as of recent 10/02/21 to see Fluff - aka Gabriel Iglesias!!! I've never gone to a SaveMart Center event and left disappointed. It was a packed house. My tickets were faded as he was initially set to perform 2019 in January as he has out grown the The Big Fresno Fair. I do want to take my nieces here to see JoJo Sigwa as they are fans of her as she is coming Jan 2021. Also another band of mine that I adore so much is Matchbox 20 which they were set to perform in September 2021 but due to covid it got pushed back again until 2022! But so many more events are popping up and the entertainment continues to be things I am willing to take out my time and go! I have never had any bad experiences with SaveMart center sometimes some celebrities are in the crowd! Which is cool. Lines can be long. They did "check" our pictures of the COVID card which was a total joke but we are fully vaccinated but there's no way the way they checked ours was thorough she really didn't even look at the screen. The food and drink is usually good but I recommend to eat before as prices can be overpriced and plus Mayan Plaza has some good food to much on if you beat the rush during major event nights! Parking is usually $20 and a breeze they only accept cash at this time. Overall, love SaveMart Center! Great events and shows! Looking forward to more experiences here! Next is Foo Fighters in December 2021 as I'm taking the dude for his birthday. Also, Staff is always friendly and nice and professional. No complaints.

I love the new Save Mart Center. I graduated with my firsts masters in this building. I have been to many concerts here. I have chaperoned high school graduations here too. I think it is a great location and since they have developed the area next to it there are more restaurants and another brewery that you can visit before any event.

Cones not being used. Yellow shirts just grouping up talking!!

By reading some of the reviews. SAVEMART center does traffic control better for concerts than graduations. We had two lanes coming in for people to park. But Boone directing them to parking they would then merge with exiting cars. THEN WE GO FROM TWO LANES TO ONE WITH THOSE ENTERING CARS CROSSING OVER TO TURN INTO PARKING. Called SAVEMART center they directed us to Fresno state who told us they were sending more staff to help with traffic!!!! With SAVEMART center and schools using this place for YEARS. Why were we at a 10-15 minute stand still!!!!!???? Why were the correct amount of staff out there? Why were the yellow shorts just talking to each other? Why were the pedestrians just allowed to cross streets at WHATEVER SPOT?

Ask the Community - Save Mart Center

What is the best lower seating section for concerts at reasonable pricing? Thanks.

Every event is going to have their own prices. There is no standard set price on any seating. You will have to check out the specific event you are going to attend.

How's the prices for beer and food?

I'm not sure but they raised the price on CRU wine to $9 from $8.

So he drove a whole hour later.. just for the staff to reject him too! They lied and said he came. We are able to provide the book for you. Even asked for my last name to put on the book with a sticky note. But why would you need my last name if my man is coming to provide his info???? They didn't even acknowledge us when I came the second time back with my boyfriend. Then they proceeded to lie and say oh there was no book! Like wow!!!! They need to really hire friendly and helpful staff. Not children who give no eye contact. The Asian guy, black girl, and blonde just stared. The only help was the shaved girl with glasses and she had no location for the book but was the one who lied and told me that I should wait an hour until my boyfriend got there. I will never come back in this library again, it was an awful experience. They were not working but instead on their phones staring at the desk down and not up to see how they can help. If anyone out there is seeing this and thinking about doing this program, I would say only do it as…read morean absolute last resort. The advisors are incredibly ill-prepared and disengaged. The online work is out of date, they don't tell you how to turn it in or where, and the places where you are meant to turn things in (on THEIR website) don't match the work assigned in the online workbook that THEY wrote, so sometimes the teachers will say, 'you didn't do the work correctly' because there are two separate sets of instructions. The 'modules' are based on different areas of learning so you'll do say, a science lesson unit, and then a math lesson unit, record yourself, and turn in some reflections and lesson plans, but the only direction they really give you in terms of these lessons is, make sure its inclusive and that there's something fun in it like art. No one ever talks to you about the new unit/module and what the focus or goal is. You meet with a cohort of other students to try and figure it out together, and I was usually the only one who could help anyone. Many of my classmates were older and didn't know how to use the website, and one of them told me he never turned anything in and he was still passing (I turned in every single assignment). There are never any recommendations for scripted curriculum or other useful advise teachers would need to know. You will also never learn anything about classroom management other than, don't use a red pen to correct because it will make students feel bad, and don't use a clip chart because that will embarrass them. The way you have to be mentored and do hours is very strict according to the California teachers commission, and they never tell you how it works, contact your mentor teacher, or make it clear exactly what you are supposed to be doing. They don't check that you have your proper emergency credential or explain the difference between a university inter, an emergency credential, a STIP, a PIP, etc and they don't help you apply for it. They give you a handbook, but my pdf never worked correctly, and no one ever responded to my emails when I asked questions I should have been able to read in the handbook that I couldn't open. They also have a contract with apple where they force you to buy a refurbished ipad and dont ever provide you with the receipt for it (I asked). They don't help place you in a school, they don't help with the caltpa, and they don't understand the requirements from the CTC, and they don't know which exams aren't required anymore so they will direct you to take a $400 exam you don't need. You are just paying them for the paperwork, and they will do little to nothing to support you understanding what exactly you are supposed to do. The orientation is 2 hours and it's just a feel good share out about your feelings, and then someone from apple telling you about the apps they offer for teachers that you can use. So, if you really want to teach, but you can't afford to take a year off work to be an intern, you gotta do what you gotta do, but this university is lazy and it's not even through Fresno state, they just rent an office there. Avoid at all costs, in the end its 10k that you wasted for a very difficult career.

Applying here was a massive embarrassing mistake…read more The term had started but nobody had been placed for student teaching. I had even found the program a district near me open to having me placed there, but nothing ever came of it since my advisor kept putting off contacting them. Advisors are difficult to reach, and are more focused on their other postions (this is a side hustle for them). The director recorded himself for 10 minutes in a makeshift mancave through a desktop camera as our "orientation" two days before the start of the term. You're given online modules and a pacing guide and then expected to teach yourself through broken links, outdated curriculum, and cohort meetings you're also told to set up on your own time. I legitimately don't know if any lectures actually take place with any professors at any point. I totally understand being independent and self-driven, but the lack of leadership is beyond apparent. You start off already behind on assignments, readings, and can only catch up by ignoring most of the materials and sources you're thrown in the modules. I did not go through with the program. I dropped out the second day of the term and very fortunately got my full refund. The appeal of a fully online program is obvious, but CalState Teach DO NOT have the resources or infrastructure to fulfill what they claim to give their students. Inquire and clear any doubts you have before paying them anything; trust your gut..
