They are a business that is probably tired of theft and if that's the way they choose to deal with it I say hats off to them. They also have a no cash rule. Do these same complainers whine about that? You just deal with the rules that they have because you know what they are. I very much enjoy shopping here and digging through the bins. You never know what you're going to find. Yes, there are many things concealed in brown boxes or packaging where you have no idea what's inside, but if you scan the Amazon barcode with your Amazon app you can usually find out what it is. If that doesn't work, you can take it to the back where they will open it for you to inspect. They discourage customers from opening packages themselves because parts and pieces get easily get separated if not closed properly, making an item incomplete for the next person who might be interested. I've never been on the more expensive days, but my favorites are the $3 and $1 days. They do tend to be crowded but you can get some real steals. Give them a chance. If one time you go and you don't find much of anything, try another week. Some weeks are awesome and others are not, just depending on what they get from Amazon.

You have to pick it up to read what it is as most have no photos on the outside. For some, you have to look it up online to determine what it is or isn't. I left with a few items, including a charcuterie board for $10 each. You should stop by if you are in the area and have some extra time to spare. The shoppers inside were pleasant and kind. Items start at $14 on Fridays and $10 on Saturdays and go down to $0.25 on Thursdays.

There's been a lot of talk about Trosa Thrift store around town lately. I've seen it all over…read moresocial media so a friend and I decided to check it out on a Friday afternoon. Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.

Both times they have been efficient with the repair, giving me very little wait time. They also carry a decent selection of bikes and cycling accessories. I called them one afternoon and spoke with Tim who told me to bring the bikes in. I arrived 30 minutes later and Tim greeted me with a hearty welcome and introduced me to Jacob the bike mechanic who checked the bikes in for a level one tuneup. Three were different types of tuneups that your bike can get; a level one starts at $80 and that includes checking the gears, tightening the chains, adjusting the brakes, checking the inter-tubes and tires and filling them with air if needed, and washing the bike. Level two and three encompasses a level one plus more. The bikes were supposed to take a few days, but Jacob got them done the next day. This is a great local bike shop, not only are they quick with the repairs but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is clean, and fully stocked with a large selection of bikes, helmets and accessories. Oh yes and they do offer a 10% discount to Police, FD, paramedics, and Military. Cabarrus Cycling highly recommended!
