They have years of experience teaching these courses as they were able to tell me what were the differences in practice between the old guidelines and the most current ones. One of the instructors was an RN so she able to give us practical tidbits and show us things to look out for in codes. Coming in I was really lacking in interpreting rhythm strips, and the instructor helped me remember easy ways to recognize the different patterns. I enjoyed the hands-on experience working the defibrillator while the instructor went through the different ACLS algorithms. Classes are small enough for you to feel like its individualized teaching and they definitely do want you to succeed so you can perform high-quality CPR in the field and/or participate in codes. Will come again when it's time to re-certify.

We waited for 20 minutes and kept texting Cynthia to ask where the child is and NO response. Later that evening Cynthia asked if I wanted to reschedule?? THAT'S IT! No explaination of why no one turned up for a paid and confirmed visit. Cynthia was asked multiple times during this conversation why and what happened, why didn't the child show up and her only response was, let me know if you want to reschedule!!
