The age of our beech tree, according to the SAVATREE Certified Arborist, Mr. Robert Moscarello, is approximately 200 years during his initial visit. However, after my wife and I researched Beech Leaf Disease we found that the likelihood of any treatment for Leaf Disease is not expected to yield favorable results because there is NO CURE, which we were not made aware of by Mr. Moscarello prior to agreeing to services rendered. Had we been informed that there is no cure, we certainly would not have spent approximately $5,880.00. The recommended option of using and paying (twice) for the Systemic Soil Treatments, ArborHealth Fertilization treatments, bark disease treatments, borer treatments and then paying $3,890.00 for the pruning of the Beech Tree, unbeknownst to us, was not specific to the actual leaf disease that is killing our tree which is the reason we called SAVATREE to start with. After speaking with a beech tree expert in Massachusetts, my wife and I were informed that SAVATREE's ArborHealth Fertilization Treatment, Systemic Soil Treatment, etc., are not used to target the nematodes that is the root cause of Beech Leaf Disease. We are displeased with the fact that the information was not presented to us during the initial evaluation by SAVATREE after spending approximately $5,880.00. When my wife and I brought the information collected from the expert in Massachusetts to the attention of SAVATREE's Certified Arborist, Mr. Robert Moscarello, he knew about there being NO CURE and the fact that all of his recommended treatments were not specifically designed to assist with the leaf disease?! With that being said, we terminated all services with SAVATREE and we regret allowing ourselves to be taken advantage of and we will be filing a complaint with the BBB. read more

Honest and reliable. Great customer service. He diagnosed what was wrong with my Beech tree, prescribed a plan and executed without any issues or frustration on my part. I especially liked that they called me and asked if I would like to continue with a fertilization plan, instead of just coming to do it and billing me later. It gives me a lot of faith that they are not just trying to get as much from me as possible, but just want to do a good job. Our property has 3 "legacy" trees, huge, towering ones, a cedar, pine and a spruce. We wanted them to be fed, protected from insects and generally cared for. We invited the 3 largest tree companies and their arborists for opinions and estimates. Until we met with Sav-a-Tree we were very discouraged. Their arborist, Stacey Parthemore, was the first one to actually touch the trees. (no, the others did not, imagine that.) Stacey was thorough, knowledgeable, and understandable. I recently had 4 trees removed by SavATree (victims of the dreaded Emerald Ash Borer). I was impressed by SavATree at every turn. I called a few companies, one never returned the call, another told me they were booked for months out and hung up on me, and I had a very professional and easy interaction with SavATree who sent someone out in 1 week. Scot Boyce led the project and was a pleasure to deal with. He explained to me what was going on with my trees, heard me on my concerns, and set up and managed a very swift project to get things taken care of. I was away from my home during Hurricane Ida and Scot came by the house (without my asking) to make sure all was well! One of my trees has a treehouse I built for my kids, and Scot figured out a way to (safely) keep the treehouse in place while removed the rest of the tree. The removal crew was on time, hard working, and clearly experienced professionals and they made quick work of the actual removal, cleaned up afterwards, and were very respectful of my neighbors. This company looks impressive but their workers do not live up to their corporate image. They showed up late for work and were very obnoxious. They had their trucks parked on the streets like their own them. Our upset neighbors lodged several complaints and I'm embarrassed. Savatree charges premium prices but delivers far below expectations. Not recommended. read more

First application they sprayed my trees and let pesticide drip off the branches onto my grill and porch furniture and left. Not enough brains to put down a tarp v making me and my family seriously Sick. Fortunately I was looking out the window or would have never known. Fired them same day. read more

The whole experience with SavAtree was fantastic! Starting from my visit from Michael, who was friendly and knowledgeable. I did not get the feeling that he was trying to scam me or get as much money from me as possible, which was the impression I had gotten from the first tree company I had come to take a look at my yard. The prices that Michael offered were half of what this other company had offered! Once I had looked over the proposal that Michael emailed me and I decided that I wanted to move forward with the work, Michael and his crew arrived the next afternoon. Michael arrived first and talked everything through again with my husband and stayed until the guys doing the work had arrived and gotten started. The guys moved all of our lawn and patio furniture to a safe place and covered it with tarps. They were careful when lowering the dead branches so that the yard/patio was not damaged. They carried out and mulched all the branches that they removed from the trees and cleaned up the yard, so it actually looked better than it did before they arrived! They put all the furniture back in the appropriate place before leaving. I would never have known that they were in the back yard had my husband not sent me the photos of them suspended from the trees. I highly recommend and will be SavAtree for any future work I need done. read more

SavATree sent a crew to take down a Weed/tree that had grown 6 stories high but had to come down for many reason. The crew of three was very professional, worked non-stop with constant communication between themselves and with me. This enable them to complete the job in a safe, timly manner.
