Savannah Mall is sad. The mall is huge but there are barely any stores left. The stores that do remain are a mix between large brands and small, local businesses. It's dead. The escalators weren't operating. They were in the middle of decorating for the holidays. The Christmas tree that stands in the middle was left half way complete. This mall is great if you want to just stop in and do some walking as exercise to escape the savannah heat. However if you want to have a true shopping spree try elsewhere. Many of the shops are closed. A couple of mainstream stores are still in operation Dillard's, Target, Bass Pro shop, Victoria Secret, Bath & Body Works to name a few. The food court is also in the same predicament, older and many secondary fast food restaurants. Overall the mall deserves a C. The mall is large with plenty of walking room, clean, and a couple of large retailers to choose from. Pitfalls, many of the stores are closed and the he overall mall s desolate. read more

What in the world has happened to Savannah Mall? This place is relic of its former greatness. There were stores like JB Whites, Parisienne, and Belk's that carried luxurious fashionable clothes. It was an amazing shopping experience back in the day. Oh my how things have changed! It is like an empty warehouse littered with discount stores much along the lines of a flea market. What a shame for a massive space. The stores that are in there seems as if they, themselves are on life support. The mall is dying as already point out, with plenty of closed shops and empty businesses. However there are no crowds or lines so it's perfect for getting in, finding something you need, and getting out. I personally go there to get my haircut, get a massage, and pick up some things from target. Oglethorpe mall is simply too crowded and small compared to this one. It's a shame that Savannah mall doesn't have the business it used to. Ultimately, it's still a serviceable mall to get the things you need without a crowd and hopefully it stays open for the foreseeable future. read more

This mall needs a lot of improvement and they are surely working on it so good job in that department. It doesn't have many stores and the food court has little to no restaurants. Hopefully when the upgrades are complete, it will be better. read more

This mall isn't bad, but it isn't my first choice for a shopping center. The mall is in a great location and it has so much potential but there are no stores open.. like this mall has nothing. The highlight is the target that's attached and a bass pro. Overall I wouldn't recommend or go out of my way to come to this location. read more

This is a decent mall to me. I like the fact that they have a Texas Roadhouse and Target inside of this mall. Those are two of my favorite places so I'm totally sold. There are several other mall staples that are represented here as well. There was a beautiful display in the center of the mall of sandcastles made of actually sand. This display was huge so it was made of tons of sand. How they pulled that off is unbelievable to me, but it was beautiful!!!! I was able to find earring backs that I was looking for in Claire's. I have eaten at the food court before and was satisfied so no complaint there. I'm a happy camper when I come here!!! read more

Where are the stores?! Seriously, where are they? There are a handful of shops from which to pick, but not much. It's a pity, as it's in the prime spot of being between hectic city life and the outer suburbs like Georgetown and Richmond Hill. The mall itself is really spacious and pretty. There's plenty of parking and the location is very easy to access. I'm amazed it just doesn't have the stores to bring in more shoppers. I guess if you want a nice clear path to do some fitness walking inside, this is the place to go. The other major mall down the road a ways is just too crowded and noisy for my taste. read more

Even though this mall has been around for a while, it is still considered to be the "new mall" in comparison to the much older Oglethorpe Mall. This mall is beautiful, and the Christmas tree and decorations are all beautiful. I was just here for lunch, and didn't do any shopping. Very nice mall from where I sat, and what I saw. read more

The food court is disgusting the tables are sticky and have dirt on them, theres a roach infestation. Ogathorp mall is better in every way.

We decided to stop by real quick to grab a pair of running shoes for the BIL. The mall was pretty much deserted on a Sunday afternoon. We found plenty of parking in the front of the Target entrance (really? a target inside a mall? That's something you don't see in Atlanta every day! LOL). We walk in, located a directory and quickly walked in the Footlockers. While the guys shopped, I went back to the Target. It's a bit smaller than your usual stand alone Targets, but everything was pretty much in place and the aisles were clean and clear of any clutter. I think this mall is a one-stop-shop because it also has a 24-hr fitness gym inside too. It's weird because one of the last things I want to do while sweating on the treadmill is watch other people shop. This whole mall is quite small and just eh to me. read more

I'm from Columbus Ohio, so I'm used to large malls that have a lot of things to do. This place was literally dead! The majority of the stores were closed! I feel really awful leaving bad reviews because I know they have an impact on the business but I'd rather warn someone who is about to drive any distance to come here. Skip it! read more

My review is strictly for the ice skating activity in the mall . The staff there are amazing !!!!!! They were super sweet and nice and helped my daughter lace up her skates . My daughter fell on the ice and they came over and asked if she was ok . There were several other children there too and they were so well behaved !! read more

This mall has it's selling points and it's a toss up btwn the two malls as to which is best. It just depends what you are needing. Savannah Mall has Target, Bass Pro, AC Moore, a better play area than Oglethorpe mall, and the 2 story carousel. I find the selection of clothing stores to be extremely limited, as well as the food court choices. read more

This was such a beautiful mall. Now it is just a sad dirty place. Only one escalator works, the elevators are dirty and smell bad. The bathrooms are just sad. The out side is just shameful the plants are over grow walking up to the carousel windows they are filthy and have not been washed. For such a mall that used to be beautiful this is just sad. I am not even sure how they keep from closing. Come on Savannah mall owners get it together. read more

This mall is almost empty. However I found the Dillards and Target two of the nice places to shop. I was shocked to see there were numerous mom and pop stores that have taken the place of other spots of better known stores. It appears this mall is one of the malls in print communications that appears to be going the way of the dinosaurs. Sad, but it is really depressing to walk through this mall and see it without liveliness and the sounds of excited shoppers. read more

Savannah Mall's wifi will allow you to connect... For all of 5 seconds before the wifi suddenly stops working. The only way to stay connected to the mall wifi is to be in the food court and constantly restart your phone's wifi. Savannah Mall, admins, fix your damn wifi! read more

This mall has come a long way, but not near far enough. If you choose to shop here, you will find a nice new Victoria's Secrets, a large foot locker, and a carousel in the food court. The largest stores in here are the Bass Pro Shop and Target. The Burlington Coat Factory is really outdated. That store has a mildew odor. If you're looking for your nicer stores you're not going to find them here. There are a ton of discount stores and lots of athletic shoe stores. Food for this mall is your typical mall fast food and a Ruby Tuesday. If this mall would offer a little more diversity in the type of shops it supports then it could be wonderful. How about putting in some nicer stores? A Justice for girls would do well. How about some restaurants? A P.F. Chang's, Jumba Juice, or Chop House would be wonderful. This area has the traffic to support these stores. A drive-thru Starbucks would also be a welcome improvement on the property. Can't wait to see what the future will bring to this establishment. read more

It's the closest mall to my home. There is a limited selection of stores but as a woman who enjoys shopping, this will have to do.

I like this mall, its nice to walk around because its usually quiet. It has about the same selections of food in the food court. I like that it has dillards because thats a good place for dresses. My favorite place to go to is savannah sweets and Auntie Annes pretzel place. Sometimes when I'm bored, i walk up and down those stairs in the middle of the mall :) read more

It was a great mall for a while til the people found that Oglethorpe mall was cleaned up and downtown was growing. You don't have to go far back in history to see what happened. The north came south, burned the crops, killed thousands and turned the south into a waste land. It never recovered. read more

If the Target and the Bass Pro Shops store were not located in this mall it would not be able to survive. I am not sure why the mall cannot get businesses to commit but it might be because the Oglethorpe Mall gets more business from tourism and has better stores. read more

The Savannah Mall offers a lot of great stores... perfect if you have a little girl... Justice, Gap, The Children's Place, Build A Bear.. and our favorite place, Barnes & Noble. The mall is well mantained and provides a safe shopping enviroment. read more

My wife and I tend to come here quite a bit ever since the mall expanded and added a bunch of new stores. Definitely not like Oglethorpe Mall(which has many more commercial stores) but it is a very nice and not as busy mall with a lot of mom and pop stores. The food is ok in the mall, but then again it is mall food. Bass pro shops is my biggest attraction to the mall since it's the only one in Savannah. read more

This is mall is not as good as the other one and that is pretty bad. There are so many empty spots where shops need to go but there isn't anything fancy. Very limited and pretty much only go for the Target if I'm on that part of town and that Roadhouse place that's there is pretty decent. If you need to do some shopping, you may want to go to the other mall. read more
