We hired Oklahoma Landscape to address significant drainage issues in our backyard. One of the…read moreprimary reasons we selected them was their advertised drainage expertise. Their website emphasizes foundation drainage specialists and protecting homes from moisture intrusion and water damage, and Robbie spent considerable time evaluating our property and discussing a plan before work began. Unfortunately, our experience once construction started was very different from what we expected. On the first day, the crew began digging without reviewing the project with us, which resulted in work being performed in the wrong area of the yard. Over the course of the project, portions of the drainage system were repeatedly dug up and reworked due to installation issues. This led to extensive disruption of our yard, damage to areas that did not need to be disturbed, and utility lines being cut during construction. What was expected to be a relatively straightforward drainage project ultimately stretched to nearly a month of ongoing rework and adjustments. Communication from the field crew was limited, and when the project was finished, there was no walkthrough or explanation of the completed system. Most importantly, the drainage issues were not resolved. During the first significant storm after completion, water again pooled against the side of our house and we experienced a water intrusion inside our home. This resulted in damage that required additional remediation and led us to hire another contractor to redesign and correct the drainage work. I will say that Robbie was generally communicative throughout much of the process and was professional in our interactions. However, there was a significant disconnect between what was discussed during planning and what was ultimately executed in the field. In the end, despite the time, cost, and disruption involved, we were left with the same drainage problems we hired the company to solve. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Oklahoma Landscape for drainage projects. (attached photos are of the completed project)

We appreciated the way he "educated" us on what was going on with the trees health. We now know what to expect over the next few years. The team trimmed and cleaned up three very mature trees that are easily over 50 years old. Mature trees of this size require expert knowledge, and their very hardworking crew handled them beautifully. Not only did they shape the trees perfectly, but their cleanup was truly immaculate. They didn't leave a single branch or scrap of debris behind--they left our yard looking even cleaner than when they arrived. We recommend them to anyone needing expert tree care.

We were looking for a couple trees that would grow tall enough to offer privacy and shade and not threaten the house. Chase and his crew suggested Pistache trees and showed us a mature sample they had in the Wendland yard. The 2 trees we purchased were on sale, and our price included delivery and planting. We also got a detailed instruction sheet telling us how to care for our young trees so that they'll thrive in our yard. A+++ Experience! This time, because another patron caused a snag, we got them the day we called. Glad it worked out for them since the crew was already together and ready to work. I agree with others, always finding Bill's quotes more than reasonable. What always impresses me is the way Bill walks around the yard, meticulously asking what you want and what he recommends. Then when the work is done, they don't leave until the walk is repeated and your approval is given. Still, if you feel a tweak is needed here and there, it's immediately taken care of, no problem.
