I ordered the roast beef manhattan for myself and the pot roast melt for my friend. When I tell you the meat is DELICIOUS, I mean it's tender, flavorful and melts in your mouth. The mashed potatoes for the manhattan are super fresh and yummy as well. I also ordered a side of the baked apples. I will say, I do agree that the apples are a bit sweeter than I would have personally liked, but I know a lot of people enjoy them super sweet. My only other small sad note was that I had asked for utensils and bread when I placed my order and I made the mistake of not checking for them before leaving. After I picked up my food I stopped in the gift shop and picked up a few jars of jam and apple butter which I am also very excited to use. The gift shop had a very cozy feel to it and was full of goodies!

My husband got some hash bowl with gravy and scrambled eggs and he ate the whole thing. Loved it. It came with a biscuit which was big and warm. I got an omelet with spinach, mushrooms and cheese and it was as big as the plate and so satisfying. We were soooo full at the end, we couldn't even think about dessert. Next time though for sure!!

So I thought I HAD to give it a second visit and see if my first time was just a lucky chance. Well, I went today for brunch and experienced another 5 star meal. Since it was as great a meal today, I'll comment on behalf of both. Greeted IMMEDIATELY upon entering the restaurant by a friendly up beat employee. The restaurant was very clean and seemed to be operating at a smooth pace. We were led to our table and handed our menus. Our server was with us almost immediately, smiling and greeting us to the restaurant. Menus were handed out and our questions were answered. We had 5 people in our party and ordered 4 blackberry Bellinis and I had a coffee old fashioned. We ALL raved about our drinks and after a few more questions, we ordered our meals: Crab Cake Benedict, Smoked Salmon Benedict, Chicken Sandwich and a Philly Steak Sandwich. All I can say is that EVERY plate was EMPTY! We ALL LOVED our food! It was hot, fresh tasting and delicious flavors. Even the fries were hot, crisp, fresh and seasoned perfectly. Forgot, Two of our party members ordered the wild mushroom torte, and...NOTHING left on the plate!! Our food was so awesome that we had to try 2 desserts: Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée and the Carrot Cake and yes...they were demolished and joined the 'Clean Plate Club'!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING AND EVERYONE IN OUR PARTY LEFT WITH AN AMAZINGLY AWESOME EXPERIENCE! GREAT job by EVERYONE WHO WORKED TODAY. Mic drop experience and I can't wait to go back!!!

Mike was our bartender, and his expertise and the care he puts into his craft really stood out. He truly understands the art of a good cocktail. I started with the Aloe You special, which was exactly as he described, a refreshing spin on a margarita. My husband's old fashioned was high quality and perfectly made. I followed with a delicious Moscow mule, served in the perfect copper mug. We didn't get a chance to eat, but the couple next to us ordered the fried chicken sandwich and double smash burger, and both looked incredible. We can't wait to go back, try the food, and enjoy more of Mike's cocktails. Highly recommend!
