They even had a lot of very nice selections of vegan friendly convenience foods. I did purchase the non dairy whipped cream, 2 different vegan ready burgers and a bag of vegan meatballs. I would like to see a brand of non dairy yogurt as I didn't see any, but maybe there was. The lines were going fairly smoothly and I had all my groceries separated already in their reusable grocery bags ( which as a grand opening gift, you receive 2). The cashier was very apprehensive that I had just placed the bags full on the conveyor belt instead of dumping all the items. I always have an extra bag empty and ready to begin the bagging process on the end but she was anxious. I thought it went well and she did a good job but she asked me to next time take all the items out and place them on the conveyor belt! Honestly, I am hoping the store video will show her how smoothly that went because at a bag it yourself grocery and even a regular grocery store it goes so much smoother. That's my only concern. Great store, good prices and good service. Maybe add 2-3 lanes of checkers for those of us who bulk shop and live a distance away. As I am thinking about the shopping cart, you need a quarter to activate it. And there are many self checkouts as opposed to the one checker. Guessing they really would prefer small amounts to be purchased and not large orders.

When I got to the counter, I had a hard time hearing the employee taking my order because she was speaking extremely quietly, almost whispering. I asked for three chicken sandwiches, but she never asked what I wanted on them. I didn't think much of it at first because I assumed they would come with the usual toppings--lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, etc. I noticed she entered "no cheese" without asking me whether I wanted cheese, which I thought was strange, but I didn't question it. I hadn't been to Mountain Fresh in over a year, so I genuinely thought maybe the way they took orders had changed. When she asked what I wanted for the sides, I specifically said side salads with no dressing. She repeated "no dressing" back to me, so I thought everything was correct. Unfortunately, by the time I realized how wrong the order was, I had already left. When we opened the food, the chicken sandwiches were basically just chicken and bread and were missing the toppings I expected. I then looked at the ticket and noticed that instead of entering "no dressing" for the salads, it said "no sauce." I'm not sure how "no dressing" became "no sauce," especially since she repeated "no dressing" back to me. The salads ended up coming with dressing. My mom couldn't eat her meal because the dressing from the salad had gotten onto some of the chicken as well, leaving it with a vinegar/vinaigrette taste. She was extremely disappointed because she has also really loved Mountain Fresh in the past. We ultimately ended up throwing away food that we had paid for, which was frustrating and a waste of money. What disappoints me the most is that this could have been avoided by simply going over the order with me and asking what I wanted on the sandwiches. I understand that mistakes happen, and I also understand that I could have opened everything and checked the food before leaving. However, I hadn't been there in over a year, so I thought their ordering process might have changed. When an employee repeats "no dressing" back to me, I also expect that "no dressing" is what will actually be entered. My family and I have had good experiences with Mountain Fresh in the past, which is exactly why this visit was so disappointing. Unfortunately, based on the customer service and the number of things that went wrong with this order, I'm leaving one star.

She allows you to sample the oils and balsamic vinaigrette, so you get an idea of what you may like and she even posts in her Facebook recipes you can use with the different oils. Our most recent trip was to attend the Pickle Festival, our second year in a row. It was amazing to have such a variety of vendors, entertainment, and food!! Families were enjoying the farm, kids were playing, and there were several swings overlooking the river that made for a beautiful place to sit and unwind. The farm offers a great variety of fresh produce, and the strawberry picking was a huge hit with our kids. Their favorite part was being able to snack on strawberries while picking them--an experience they won't forget! We also purchased some boiled peanuts, which were hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. But the real star of the visit was the ice cream. It was hands-down the best part of our day and so good that we're already planning to stop by again before heading back home.
