It takes a lot for to to admit that I need help, and when I make the effort to seek help, I expect the professional to do his job and administer treatment. I waited two weeks to be seen and was excited when the day came. However, after the visit was all said and done, I know now why I try to avoid psychiatrists. Because of that unwelcoming feeling psychiatrists make you feel when casting judgement without treatment. Maybe I am a biased reviewer because I did come to his office 25 minutes late, and waited 35 minutes to be seen only to be told he has another appointment in 15 minutes. You will walk into a waiting room, greeted by nobody and instructions to flip a switch to be seen. That switch didn't work for me, and I had to track down his emergency number from his voice mail. When I was seen, I was told because I have a traveling schedule, that I am too much of a risk to be seen. If you don't want to leave a psychiatrists office angry, choose a different physician.
