My new doctor could not believe the dose of medication I was prescribed by Dr. Jacobs. They took me off everything he prescribed. Dr. Jacobs also filmed me during sessions which I found so creepy. It takes a lot for to to admit that I need help, and when I make the effort to seek help, I expect the professional to do his job and administer treatment. I waited two weeks to be seen and was excited when the day came. However, after the visit was all said and done, I know now why I try to avoid psychiatrists. Because of that unwelcoming feeling psychiatrists make you feel when casting judgement without treatment. Maybe I am a biased reviewer because I did come to his office 25 minutes late, and waited 35 minutes to be seen only to be told he has another appointment in 15 minutes. You will walk into a waiting room, greeted by nobody and instructions to flip a switch to be seen. That switch didn't work for me, and I had to track down his emergency number from his voice mail. When I was seen, I was told because I have a traveling schedule, that I am too much of a risk to be seen. If you don't want to leave a psychiatrists office angry, choose a different physician.

I tried to quit on my own, but there was a voice in the back of my mind that got in my way each time. I thought it was a personal flaw: my own willpower wasn't strong enough, even though this was something I truly wanted to quit. Leticia solved it in 1 session. I was a little unsure, dare I say "skeptical" at first. But I wanted it to work, because I needed help. I gave it a real chance. I am glad that I did, because Leticia changed my life. Each day, I awake surprised that the change is continuing to stick. Surprised that I don't have temptation, even in my most challenging and uncomfortable moments. My life, my state of mind, and my prospects for the future have all improved. I am experiencing joy and bliss that I haven't known in a long time, because I am free.
