I decided to stop in one afternoon to treat myself to a glass of wine and a snack. I got there just before 4pm and the sweet gal working behind the bar let me know that their happy hour was about to start. $4 glasses of wine & prosecco -- you can't beat that! I got a glass of bubbly and ordered their mixed charcuterie and cheese board. HOLY WOW -- This board was a work of art! Probably the most beautiful charcuterie board I've ever been served and it was MASSIVE! This is definitely something I would plan to share in the future. But I loved every bite. It was so thoughtfully curated with 3 different types of meats and 3 cheeses, plus pickled veggies, fresh & dried fruit, nuts, mini jam jar, a tapenade spread, edible flowers, and a basket of bread & crostini. I boxed up the leftovers to take home and my husband enjoyed them later. This is such a cute little neighborhood gem and I already can't wait to go back.

The location is a little weird to find initially and I had to idle around the area to find the front of the store because everything blended in together in that area. The man also mentioned how there was a ton of different other food choices and the meal programs they have if I wanted a subscription plan in the future. Super clean and nicely lit as well. All the meals I was given were wonderful and flavorful! The chicken dishes were very juicy and had a decent amount in the portioning. I will say I wish there was a little bit more in some of the dishes I received. To drink, I enjoyed a Marsala chai. It was very fragrant and delicious. We shared the garlic naan, which was so buttery and had plenty of yummy chunks of fresh garlic. I had the lamb vindaloo and it was absolutely perfect. The sauce was rich and a solid mild just as I asked. The lamb was plentiful and so tender. It's a great portion size and they even replenished our rice when we ran low. My boyfriend got the chicken tikka and loved it. The food was spectacular and the service was excellent. But the food lacked in flavor and spice. We stopped in a little after 1:00, ordered 3 of the lunch meal sets, which include your choice of lunch size curry, naan, small portion on yellow lentils, naan and two dips (one cilantro/mint & the other a sweet tamarin mix) and tiny cup of creamy mango desert. Naan was good and a lot. We choose the paneer saag, lamb vindaloo, and lamb coconut - all medium spiced. Nothing was cooked to order, asked for medium spiced, all were barely even mild. The paneer saag was a puree, not to my liking - like mine to still look like spinach (leafy?), the lamb in both dishes was over cooked, rubbery. The vindaloo had no flavor. It was kind of like the Bland Indian food you would expect at a buffet. Sorry to say this may be our last visit.

Arrived for late lunch just before 1 pm-ish. We were seated promptly with a smile at a small booth for 2. I should have asked for a bigger booth as my teen is 6'5" and I'm 5'10" so we were knocking knees the whole time, but otherwise comfortable. The restaurant was not overly busy, perhaps 1/4 full but had a couple larger tables and we weren't in a hurry, but did wait 10 minutes for a server wondering if they knew we were there. I was totally fine waiting as not in a hurry, but a quick "be with you shortly" to acknowledge us would have sufficed. Redemption came when James greeted us and took our order. He was friendly, warm and happy to list options for sides and make sure we ordered exactly as we wanted. Our drinks actually came almost immediately as well, which was great considering mine was a Grand Patron Margarita, no salt and it arrive fast and without salt rim! Our food was typical speed for a chain style restaurant.. didn't really time it but was happy with the pace. Everything was correct and exactly as ordered. James had a trainee server with him.. so sorry, forgot the name but believe it started with an "M", She was bubbly, welcoming and took drink refills and dessert orders that both came out quickly, along with a to-go box as requested. Service was wonderful from both of our servers.. this is what really made the visit shine for us. The food was good, but not really "wow-ed" by anything. My son's burger was ordered Med Well but brown all the way through no sign of slight tinge of pink. He didn't care, he's 16 and eat's anything but mentioned it was a bit drier than the usual burger, but still loved it and ate every bite. I had the Mediterranean Chicken Pita Tacos.. loved the sauce on them and overall soft and fresh, but the chicken was well, just cooked chicken and that itself lacked a bit of flavor. I'm not sure I would order again as the chicken itself lacked flavor while the cucumbers and sauce were the highlight. My margarita was actually really good - LOVED it! I love the little bottle of Grand Marnier. Cute, clever, and not cheated with a "less than" float on top. Also reasonable at $14.99. I've paid more for terrible top shelf margaritas so this was a plus. My son had the Stars and Stripes Pizcookie, and let's be real, he chose BJ's to dine at just so he could have one of these. He was not disappointed and finished it in about 2 min flat.. no joke.. Me.. still sipping on that margarita!! A perfect place to stop after several hours of volleyball tournament games. My last little nit pick was some debris on the floor nearby, a straw and a wrapper that were picked up just before our visit ended, but I did step on the straw on the way to the restroom and it stayed there for quite some time. Fortunately the restrooms were clean and well stocked, but debris on the floor always makes you wonder about cleanliness overall including the kitchen, so would just do a quick run through for tables and floors a bit more often. We would return again should we be nearby again. Thank you to our lovely servers that made the visit for us or my stars would be a bit lower.. hard to get smiles, helpful menu insight, and attentiveness and even 5 star restarants we recently visited, so thank you James and trainee!!
