I went in to pick up a Vault order (Blanton's Bourbon) as well as some additional wine selections for the holidays. I appreciate the customer service at this store as they provide both perfect directions to locate the items you are looking for or using their handheld devices to see if they are out of stock. If they are out of stock, they can direct you to another ABC location as I experienced last Christmas season. The staff here also makes excellent wine recommendations you may want to try in the future. I've taken their recommendations up a number of times and have been very satisfied in the staff leading me to new "favorites". Their rewards program is also excellent in that as a member you have access to promotions, $5 reward coupons and $10 off every $100 of wine you purchase. I achieved Gold Key status which allows you to access the "Vault" and an ability to obtain hard to get items (such as the Blanton's Bourbon). However, I have experience problems with some issues related to the corporate side of the Rewards process. I've contacted Guest Services several times for issues I've uncovered in either redeeming points, getting access to the Vault when they updated the app and that a member's $10 off a purchase of $100 of wine is not recognized for online orders. I experienced this recently and had to cancel the order at the store and purchase the exact same three bottles to receive my $20 discount. I sent the online order receipt to Guest Services and received a reply thanking me for bringing it to their attention. Their eCommerce department was to look into a possible coding issue. However, I haven't purchased anything online since to see if its corrected. I prefer going directly to the SoDo location and working with the exceptional staff there to get exactly what I need. read more

I've stopped in a couple times to stock up for parties and it's just so easy to find what you're looking for. We stopped in today for some bubbly and wine for our thanksgiving celebration. Everything was easy to find and the sales tickets are bright so it's easy to spot! They have deals all the time too so it's a fun way to try new options. The employees are nice and are always willing to help or check for certain items. They also stock cigars and THC drinks if that's your thing. The store is spacious and organized by types of spirits, wines, beers/seltzers, so it is easy to find what you're looking for! They also have single stall restrooms and plenty of parking. read more

This abc is always well stocked. It is one of the larger locations and I feel like they have everything. The staff always has great recommendations and the sales can't be beat. They have a large parking lot which makes it easy to get in and out. The store is always clean and well kept. I have tried some great new wines and liquors here, I feel like they always have a great tasting going on. I highly recommend this liquor store. read more

This store has some good stuff! My friends Jack, Johnnie, Jim and El Patron told me to meet them there so I obliged. El Patron can get salty sometimes, so I really have to listen or I'll regret it. The staff was extremely helpful and pointed me to all of the "locked" glass cases where they had a bunch of nice selections. If you're into cognac, then it's worth a stop as they had some cool collectibles in the case near the wines, including 4 or 5 bottles part of a Courvoiseir collection. Leon Phelps would spin around in his grave for that! They had some higher end bourbons and tequilas too. Orange Avenue traffic can get busy so you may find yourself needing to buy something to take the edge off when you arrive. Luckily, there are plenty of folks hanging around that look like they've had a few, so you'll blend right in. I'll probably stop in again just to see if they have anything rare that I can't find at my local store. It's hard for me to pass an ABC without stopping in to look see. read more

This particular location is conveniently located on Orange Avenue. The parking lot is pretty big and the store is pretty big and has a nice selection. The store is also well laid out and made shopping here more enjoyable than some of the independent liquor stores where the bottles are just lined on the shelves and the walls are a flat white. Ambiance matters, even in a liquor store. I ended up selecting beer from a craft brewery in Ireland to have a beer option for my guests for my Easter dinner. I also grabbed a pumpkin stout because honestly, it was on sale and looked interesting enough. The woman checking me out was personable and helpful. All in all, this particular location definitely gets my recommendation and I will give it an overall rating of five stars. read more

I'm not going to repeat everything I said about ABC from my other review of a location that's far more convenient than this one, other than the fact that, if you're a subscriber/member, their emails will alert you to some pretty nice freakin' deals (and don't forget the 10% off if you buy $100 worth of wine). What I didn't mention from the other review is the practice - pretty much de rigueur post-Covid - of having spots dedicated to picking up orders you placed online - call a number, and they will bring the box out to your car without you having to switch off the car/AC and - horror of horrors - actually walk a few steps. Me, I fear that they might not respond fast enough, not to mention the need to feed the FitBit; so, I often park in those spots and then walk in to pick up the order myself. The reason for the one-star off 5 is the reason I had to drive to this location 20 miles away. I was hunting for the last remaining bottles of Vignobles Fontan Armagnac XO a few months ago, and they only had it here. I didn't mind the driving given it was such a great deal, but I would have preferred an option to have these shipped to a location more convenient for me. As a vodka and white wine fan I stop here occasionally for a bottle or two for byob type parties and for home restock if I don't need groceries. It's easy to get in and get out with what you want and the products are organized and usually easy to find. The staff is lacking in expertise beyond sheer basics but if you know what you like this doesn't matter. If you need advice on what to buy you may want to try another option. Most staff is usually at the register and you'll have to wait in line to ask any questions. They do have a lot of mini options which we like cause we can sample different items. Overall: B Good option if you know what you want. read more

I went to ABC Fine Wine & Spirits To get some ingredients for a special morning brunch beverage for my best friend's 65th birthday. Since she is Italian I wanted to get some thing from Italy. I have decided to get some Limoncello and something to go with it to make it a spritzer. I wasn't quite sure what I needed and I wasn't quite sure where to find the Limoncello . As soon as I walked in a very helpful associate walked me over to the Limencello area so I could pick out what I needed. And then I guess because I looked lost, another associate took me over to where I could get the spritzer. He recommended that I get Prosecco instead of champagne because it would make a better drink. I did not realize that Prosecco is an Italian drink. So my plan of getting Limencello from Italy and Prosecco from Italy was just a wonderful surprise and a great birthday gift for my best friend. And on top of that I had a very good experience at this ABC and I will definitely go back there again. read more

This is my first time going to this location. I went going for two very specific items, Mount Gay Black Barrel rum, and a special type of Moscato Italian dessert wine that I've been able to find locally at a couple of restaurants and a wine bar. I was exceptionally excited to find that they had the rum, though they didn't have the wine I was looking for. They did have a relatively large section of Moscato wines, and if I had wanted to take the time I probably could have found a very good alternative. That being said, I was in a hurry and on a mission, so I didn't wait around to look. That's a decent size location, very well-kept, and the staff are friendly if you need help finding something. They have a private lot with sufficient parking. Overall, this was a good experience and if you're in the area they are worth checking out. read more

Wonderful ABC Location. I'm no alcoholic, but I've been to a many ABC's in my time and this one is by far my favorite. The layout is simple and easy to navigate, and the set up and decor make it seem a little more posh than your standard liquor store. My girlfriend absolutely loves their wine section. The staff is incredibly courteous and helpful. They even let us sample some wines to help us choose what we want. They have a decent beer selection. Nothing compared to Total Wine, but good enough for the average joe looking to pick something up on the way home. I'd have to say, the only non positive thing I have to say about this location is, well, the location. Located right on Orange Ave, it can be a little nerve racking navigating the traffic to get in or out of their parking lot. But that's not their fault. Then again, they're a stones throw from my house and I pass them everyday on my way home from work so you don't see me complaining. read more

At times, this feels like the forgotten liquor store! This location seems a little more on the spacious side for an ABC Fine Wine location, but that may be a psychological thing because the place is usually pretty empty. The wine selection is really good and takes up the majority of the store. I feel like every time I go there is someone offering free samples of wine in conjunction with some promotion they are doing. The beer selection here is better (both in the cooler and on the shelf) than most of ABC locations - very seasonal, with constant rotation of new beers coming in. Very courteous and quick service. It can be a bit difficult getting out of during evening rush-hour if you want to turn left onto Orange Ave, consider leaving out the back way and following the back road to link up with Michigan Ave. read more

I have to give it up to the customer service in this place. I recently was shopping at this store and there was a customer who came in who was obviously intoxicated. Came in with a cigarette in his mouth and promptly dropped it. The manager handled it in a very professional way, asking the gentleman to please leave and he was welcome to come back the next day. Then the gentleman who was helping me in the check-out line offered to walk me to my car if that would make me feel more comfortable. I appreciate this above and beyond service. read more

Have shopped here a lot for parties and events but the service has fallen off. Head to Publix, or Total Wines if you can. Today I asked for 1 single box in order to carry my order to my truck and was told this was company policy not to hand out boxes anymore even though there was a stack directly behind the clerk. No problem, that box just cost them several thousand dollars from my small company. read more
