It relates to the price displayed on the shelf NOT matching the price that rings up on the register at checkout. This is NOT the first time this has happened to me. Although ABC is my go-to wine and liquor shop, I've experienced (like today) a pricing error on my purchase. You really need to check and CONFIRM the price that is computerized into the register at checkout is the same as the actual displayed price advertised on the shelf. I found the register overcharged me $3 (plus tax) once I checked the receipt. The shelf priced displayed a price of $59.99 (discounted $10) for a final price of $49.99. The register charged $52.99. (See copies of receipts.) I brought this error up to cashier, who went to get the displayed price tag from the shelf. He checked it to the bar code on the tag and it rang up $52.99 rather than the displayed price of $49.99. The manager had to come over and sort this out, subsequently removing the displayed price tag from the shelf. I received my $3 (plus tax) refund, but imagine if I did not check the receipt and walked out? As stated previously, this has happened to me before. Corporate needs to assure each store's displayed sales price is the price in their register computer. Otherwise, the customer is short-changed in the process.

I have kept going here since the first incident (see past review of this location on my profile),…read morebut yet again I'm confused and frustrated. I went in last week to buy a cart and ended up buying 2. I noticed the price had increased and questioned the owner since he happens to be right there and he notified me that prices for ALL products are increasing. THEN, today, I went to go buy another cart and it was back down to its original price. The owner was in again and when I questioned him he told me that last week when I came in they were testing the new system and that the prices will be increasing soon, but not yet. When I questioned why I was charged more last week he then said "well technically they should be increased now but I'll give it to you for the lower price" like that was a gift??? Seriously?? So I got overcharged last week and now it's back down but it'll go up soon but it should be the higher price now? Make it make sense. If anyone has any information on a better smoke shop in the Orlando area please let me know as I am just about done with this place! I still go here because I just haven't been able to find any comparable carts anywhere else.
