Conveniently located at an intersection, it's actually hard to miss even though the entrance is more to the side facing Quezon Avenue instead of the actually corner of the building. When the restaurant name changed, the name Antigua still stood strong. On a side-note, I think the restroom could use some good cleaning. Siopao Bola-Bola: I was recommended to try this over Asado for its flavor, slightly disregarding the limited quantity found in the middle. Being ready not to expect too much but after a few bites, the quantity wasn't a big deal; it was enough to get full for a simple snack. It comes with a plastic filled with sauce but I was already okay not putting any, though most customers still might prefer placing sauce inside.

The servers were friendly, however the service was just about average if not just a tad below. The rib and shrimp plate: the ribs were actually pretty good. Tender and juicy. The BBQ sauce a tangy and sweet. The plate came with a side of deep fried shrimp, I think. the shrimp were small almost popcorn sized but were a fine garnish to the plate. The grilled lamb was thin, tendonous, and gamey... Not that gamey, but gamey nonetheless. The thick wedge seasoned fries that came with the lamb were really good. Crispy and seasoned just like a jack in the box seasoned fry! My fave. The corn on all the dishes seemed a bit old and dry. Overall, this place rates about average on the happy tummy meter :) Stay hungry my friends! A la cuisine!

Rosa is becoming a foodie destination! Good but not that great. Vietnamese food is characterized by freshness and simplicity- a delicious excuse to eat your veggies! Bawai's is a healthier option when eating out. Enjoyed their salads and fresh rolls more than the mains. The coconut sprout salad aka Bawai's Salad won me over. Pho Bo was too oily and lacking that herbal kick of cilantro. They don't serve it with fresh basil nor bean sprouts. Salmon and chicken are forgettable. Not a fan of pork but was told by my tablemates it was amazingly tender. A bit on the pricey side for what you're getting but service is spot on. Food comes out fairly fast even about 3/4 of their tables were occupied. Weird restroom door made of frosted glass. I wouldn't use the loo there if I were you.

Although the interior decor is much the same as in the US, it seems the clientele here seems to be a bit more high end... in used to seeing a bunch of club goers grabbing breakfast here as the sun rises on them. Anyways on to the food. Actually not horrible, I found it more like comfort food for those of you who miss the traditions of being stateside. The serving of chicken fried steak was huge, but the patty was thin, and the serving of hashed browns was also inadequate. But you know there's just something about having chicken fried steak, hash browns, and sunny side up eggs for breakfast that just brings a smile to your face! The bacon was like really thin, like shabu shabu thin! Like it broke off when i tried to pick it up. Pancakes were on point fluffy and tasted great! Overall, hey man! It's Denny's... in the Philippines! So hoorah!!

Since recently discovering Yelp hit the Philippines after returning 7 months down the line. Me and some family ventured out here to check out Ted's. My cousin had mentioned the food being very good albeit a bit pricier than local fair. Of course, that was true, but we agreed quality was there. We tried a few of their shakes-- Mango Peach, Apple Basil, Mandarin Lime, the BBQ chicken pizza, bacon cheddar fries, the seafood puttanesca, and Ted's linguine. The shakes that have fruit in their names don't seem to have milk in them and are more like finely blended slushies. A really amazing treat to escape from all the heat. I thought the apple basil and mandarin lime were the better of the 3 we got since they seemed more refreshing. The peach made the mango shake a lot heavier in comparison. For the apple basil, you can really taste the basil, but it didn't seem too overpowering, however, I'm unsure if I could drink the entire thing. The Mandarin Lime was really refreshing though. Ted's Linguine - Creamy as advertised. All the pastas seem to come with a bread stick too. Not much to really say. It was overall, really good and a great safe choice if you want pasta but not feeling adventurous. Seafood Puttanesca - Probably my favorite. Came with mussels and shrimp with bread. The sauce was a nice flavor and seasoned well. BBQ Chicken Pizza - Also really good, but much more like a flat bread and not very pizza like. Definitely think flat bread. It came with a pile of cabbage like greens as garnish and was nicely cooked. Though at the end we were questioning if it had any chicken in it as none of us could recall ever tasting the chicken. The sauce had a really nice smokey flavor though. Bacon Cheddar Fries - Very standard fries with bits of fried bacon crumbled with a drizzling of cheese. It was very tidy. I'd definitely be happy to return to try more off their menu or just to keep in mind of a place with very good drinks. They also have coffee and cakes so I imagine they'd make a nice sit in coffee shop too.

For Php 599 per person, our whole family enjoyed an afternoon of unlimited buffet, three hours of videoke inside an airconditioned KTV room, and spa services (my dad availed the massage; we were not up to it). The waiting time for our order was long, but thankfully, we had the videoke to entertain ourselves. The selection was quite current, so even the young ones got to pick and sing their hearts out. The food was not extraordinary, but it was plenty. There was buttered chicken, sweet and sour fish, shrimp gambas, calamares, and mussel soup. Refills were unlimited. You just had to press a button to call their staff, who would come into the room to assist you. The couches in the KTV rooms are uber comfy, by the way. I won't judge you if you feel the need to doze off after a heavy meal! Wink!

However, me and my wife ate here at BonChon for just 399 Pesos ($8 USD) and left really full. Both of our meals were incredibly good. Surprisingly good in fact. I didn't expect that from this place. They have the best spicy chicken sandwich I have ever had and it was huge! Americans aren't big fans of rice but my wife had some chicken and rice bowl with some kind of sauce that was pretty amazing. Even I loved it! It also came with some fantastic soup. From cheap restaurants to expensive fine dining this is surprisingly the best place I've been to in the Philippines. I hope other BonChon's are this good. I'd love to open my own back home!
