What a disaster from start to finish. I got into an accident, and on my way home from the accident, I pulled into Satori's Auto Service. Greg Satori sat me down right away and assured me that I could relax as I was shaken up quite a bit. He said I was in good hands as he was a direct repair provider for Acuity...my insurance company. I asked him what that meant, and he said that there were a select few body shops in town that could make such a bold claim, and that that meant he could get right to work on my 2 yr old Ford Focus without even waiting for approval from the insurance company. I left feeling very comforted.
That's where it all took a turn for the worse.
The next morning, I pulled in, Being nosy, thinking I would check on the progress of my vehicle repairs. Low and behold, I find a cut up junker out of a wrecking yard, with dirt and chalk all over it sitting next to my focus. I asked the guy working what that was for. He said well that's the parts from the wrecking yard to fix your vehicle. I asked why we were using wrecking yard parts on my 2 yr old vehicle. I was advised they were cheaper than factory OEM. I said well you aren't paying for them and neither am I. My insurance company is, and unless the vehicle is three years old, they should be replaced with factory OEM New parts as per Acuity.
He said I'd have to take it up with Greg.
I went back to my office and called my insurance adjuster. He said it to worry about it, because Satoris has to wait for approval before starting the repairs, and that they weren't authorized to start work nor use wrecking yard parts on my vehicle.
I told the adjuster that I was told by Satoris, they didn't need approval because they were a direct repair provider for Acuity. Acuity informed me they weren't.
I called Greg Satori to share the news and call him out for his lies. He told me that if they didn't use wrecking yard parts my vehicle would be totaled. I said "well then it's totaled." But I want new parts. Greg then tried to coerce me saying "so you want us to total it?" I said "no, I want new parts" he said, "so you want it totaled?" I insisted that I wanted new parts and wanted the insurance company to determine if it was totaled or not.
Satoris is ran by a crook or bald faced lied to me. I won't recommend doing business with them. I took my vehicle away from Satoris to First Chrysler, they repaired my vehicle with factory OEM new parts, and guess what, it wasn't totaled. Scam Artist - BEWARE read more
