First time seeing a dermatologist as I had a spot on my shoulder that was bothering me. Sure enough, it was a basal cell carcinoma. Luckily, the least severe per the chart in my exam room. Dr. Dickerson was very professional throughout the appointments I've had. She clearly explained my options for treatment. I chose the middle choice she recommended and scheduled to have it removed. My 3 month followup appointment was today, and I'm glad to say that I've healed well with a nearly invisible scar. My husband has been doing regular screenings with Dr. Thorla here for years and always spoke very highly of him too. I'm sure there are plenty of choices for doctors in the Baton Rouge area, but overall, we've been incredibly pleased with the staff and service here. Long story short, I would definitely recommend this business and Dr. Mary Dickerson for anyone looking for a dermatologist.
