Okay, now about the store. I was greeted upon entering which many stores don't do. The store was well stocked and neatly kept. A salesperson came over to ask if I needed any assistance which I did not at the time. My purchase went smoothly and the cashier explained their reward system of earning points with every purchase. It was quick and and easy to sign up. I was pleasantly surprised to find that one pair of shoes had an additional discount. Double win!!

I'm a big boy and it's hard to find clothes that fit me because most stores don't carry any sizes over XL, but at Burke's they carry up to 5X in clothing for me; with a great selection of XXL in shirts, shorts, and pants. My wife and daughter also found some nice clothes and shoes. They also have a decent pet department there where we were able to pick up some pet car seat covers, food/water bowls, and toys for our furry friends. And they also carry lots of home goods, kitchen items, clothing accessories (watches, earrings, belts, etc), and even some food items. Overall it's a pretty decent store with decent prices.

They have a decent selection of shoes for men, women & children. They also have a small collection of socks & handbags. Organization & cleanliness depends on the day, but it looks like they try to keep it organized. Located in a very safe part of town, in a very easy to access location in the Azalea Square…read moreshopping center, Kohls is there to service almost all of your clothing needs, along with other offerings that one might need for the house. I've walked through the all sections and observed the place is very clean and sterile, a much-appreciated attention to detail aspect. That said I didn't see many employees walking around so if you have questions, you'll have to be proactive and hunt them down for yourself. The floorplan is exactly like every other Kohl's so the customer should have no issues getting around. Small stuff first. The kitchen section has a few nicer items but is marked up a lot from a regular experience, sometimes by a lot. So if you want Bobby Flay's pan set, break out the plastic baby it's gonna cost ya! Next the bedroom supplies aren't marked up that much and should have something to satisfy most people. For instance they have pillows, not specialized items but a sizable list of generic ones (could be name brand but I'm not a pillow expert). The kids might be a little sour on the toy section. It's not very big. I can't speak on the womens section. Oh wait, I did have to buy some tights for running a half marathon and since it's done at the end of winter they're readily available. The only pair I could find were womans yoga pants. That's right, I ran a half marathon with 30k other people in womens yoga pants (relax I had shorts on over them). Anyways the point is they do have something for everyone. As for the mens section it's decent. The available styles are extremely generic, lacking anything trendy. It's like dating the guy or girl which dress ok but have no knowledge of what's in fashion NOW. Their sports apparel section in terms of clothing for exercise is very good, but unless you have a local team, it's for the masses. So what do I buy here? Dress pants, dress shirts, dress belts and the occasional "Kramer" shirt. But if you're debating socks, underwear, tshits and so on, you're better off choosing that big red or blue store. As for their shoes, they do have a decent collection but void of top performance or style shoes. Overall, Kohl's is very middle America in terms of financial tier, the mentality and corporate targeting. Shopping here isn't as cheap as those big box places however it's not as expensive as those NY style department stores. This particular Kohls is safe with good employees and a lot of decent, albeit dated products. Stop on buy if you're buying a little something for yourself or family and want to save a buck while not looking completely out of touch.

I've never seen a Belk so crowded like that before. There was a great sale happening and I made a few purchases. I'm happy with all that I bought. The person who waited on me at the register was super helpful and friendly. I will be back to this Belk, with the hopes of a bit more space to maneuver through the store.
