I broke my back, spent 10 years in pain, I was scared to move fast, or twist too much. There was a lot of fear in my body and mind. I also knew that I was growing fat, moving less, and my future was going down hill. I needed to do something! The level of instruction, knowledge, caring, respect, and friendships I have experienced at Oom Yung Doe over the last two years is very, very special. I move with a new sense of freedom (I never thought I'd see again). I sleep like a baby, my mind is sharp and focused. I stand with pride and strength. 100% of the credit goes to the incredible knowledge that has been passed down over generations, and my incredible instructors. The time I spend training with my daughter has also been a great bonding experience. It gave us more of a common ground, communication, and a different kind of respect and understanding that brought us closer together. I've seen the same drastic improvements with everyone around me. I highly recommend Oom Yung Doe for all ages, and all body types. It is by far the best thing I've ever done for myself. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Hank Marcus

My son has been involved in different types of martial arts since he was 4 years old. He told me…read moreover the summer he's ready to move to the next level & would like to possibly compete in MMA. I signed him up to try their complimentary classes. This is the only place I've been to that gives you 2 weeks of complimentary classes to see if you like it. They have quite a few programs available for kids as well as adults. All the instructors are really personable & friendly. The kids really love them & they handle large classes well. After the 2 week trial period my son decided he liked it & we signed up for the program which is a 1 year commitment. They have 3 different program levels available which they offer 3 payment options. You can put a small down payment & pay the rest over monthly installments, the next option is a larger down payment with the balance broken up into 2 more payments or you can pay all at once with a 25% discount off the full price. They offer 2 different age groups of kids classes, one for the little guys up to 5 years old & the older kids up to 12. The classes are a good size, about 20+ kids. Once they warm up they split the group up separating the older & bigger kids from the smaller ones. The classes are run efficiently & the instructors do a good job of keeping the kids focused & on point. They attend competitions during the year if your child is interested in competing. There is also adult classes available.

I have trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for two years and there is a lot to love about this school…read more ATT teaches much more than BJJ - Muay Thai, Submission Grappling and Boxing are taught there as well. I came here from a booming BJJ scene where I trained directly under some of the better known names in the sport. My last school, in addition to being taught by two world class instructors, also fostered a philosophy and sense of community devoid of politics and ego while stressing unity in BJJ. When I moved to Florida, I was sure I had seen the last of this philosophy. This is simply not so. Like my last school and its affiliates, there are no "creontes" at ATT. All are welcome to come and go as often as you like. The instructors love what they do and provide a challenging, safe and fun training environment for kids and adults alike. Their partnership with the Longwood location makes it nearly impossible to miss a class if you don't want to. The students in the classes are friendly and helpful and only stand for your success much as they would their own, a few of them being amateur fighters. BJJ and MMA are the present and future of combat sports and American Top Team does a great job of representing them.
