I am visiting Springfield and decided to go get my nails done. Went to this place, and a male assisted me. He did greet me, and was friendly. When I went to get my nails done, he first filed down all the color which made my nails burn. So I told him I'd rather dip it in acetone to about filing down my nails. He didn't argue and dipped my nails in acetone. Then when the gel was off. He asked if I wanted manicure, I said sure. He started yanking on my cuticles instead of slowly snipping them off. My cuticles looked worse. I let it go. So then he started putting the color on. I told him he may need a new polish, since he kept getting little debris on my nails. The nail polish bottle he used was old and had a lot of debris inside it. He continued using the same bottle and finished my nails. This is the aftermath. My nails don't look pretty. I am actually going to get a cuticle set and clean up the edges myself and file down the sides. They are friendly. But not as good. read more

This place deserves 0 stars. Or at least the lady that did my nails does. She kept running the electric file over my cuticle on my pinkie finger causing it to bleed. The holographic powder was not applied evenly throughout the nails, as you can see it is thick on some nails and very thin on others. And one of my nails is CROOKED?! read more

Biggest waste of $40 ever...I went and got my nails done at SASA with shellac and was unsatisfied right away they looked smudged and he literally put the polish on my cuticles. I said I was unsatisfied, so he fixed a few nails and it still looked like crap. Went back in and said I had no more time to waste (3 hours) and asked if I could have my money back and she said it was fixable so no I wasn't getting my money back. She just kept filing a few of them down a little and adding a clear coat and and putting it under the UV light. You can see where they added polish and didn't smooth it out. This is the chrome after I asked him to fix it, a lot better than it was at 1st. At that point I was just pissed and she clearly wasn't going to make it right by giving me my money back. I will not be back. I have to admit my pedicure was amazing, but manicure not so much. After 2 days started peeling up around the edges and is coming off. Shellac normally lasts me at least 2 weeks not 2 days. read more

Very disappointed in my dip powder manicure I just received. My nails were horribly filed. Not only were they extremely uneven and jagged, they weren't the shape I had wanted. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the powder itself was applied nicely and the tops of the nails look good. For $40, I would have hoped that my nails would have at least been filed evenly. read more

They really take their time with pedicures! I live in Chicago, so clearly everyone at salons are more rushed there. I love visiting my boyfriend down here and getting my nails done at sasa. Plus- very relaxing environment! read more

I can honestly say that I will never go back to Sasa. I asked for a shellac french tip on my fingers. The man doing my nails didnt even file them evenly. And not even two weeks after, my nails were cracked and yellow (I do not smoke). After my nails were finished my friend met me to get our toes done. They made her sit all the way across the room making our nail date awkward and basically worthless. She was clearly there to spend time with me. The massage I recieved was well worth the money, and it was the only positive moment of my experience. For my toes I asked for a shellac pink coat with a top coat of gold glitter that had an ombre look to it. When my toes were finished I was satisfied-until I went up to pay. They charged me $20 extra dollars for the gold top coat! Without any warning!!! If it had been an elaborate design using actual gold dust I could understand the charge but it was just another layer of polish. I basically laughed in their face and asked for an explanation, and proceeded to laugh again. It was outrageous, and if I had not been using a gift card I would have protested the cost. I'm absolutely unsatisfied with my nails. I had them done less than two weeks ago and you would think if had them on for three weeks. They've looked grown out since I got them, but never had a chance to go in to get then fixed. I got acrylics and a friend got shellac...hers chipped off the next day. Very friendly and clean. But not completely satisfied with my pedicure. Haven't had a pedicure in over a year and work on my feet. My feet still had lots of dead skin afterwards and nails were cut way too short. read more

Nice and clean, great service. Price's are decent and they did a great job on my daughters nails, her comments were her nails hurt somewhat and they nicked her on the side of her finger and it was bleeding.. She loved the choice of color palettes to choose from, there were so many. read more
