SAS have traditionally had their own lounges only at their major hubs but in an effort to distinguish themselves from their competition they have also opened small, what they call café, lounges at smaller airports as well. The concept has similar design to the normal lounges but they are much smaller and the food selection is much more limited.
At the airport in Malmö the lounge is fairly small, perhaps space for 30 people but it is nicely designed. They have free coffee and tea as well as fruits, pastries, cookies and also chocolate. There is a limited range of magazines and newspapers as well as of course free wifi (but wifi is free in the whole airport so no real benefit from that).
It is nice to be able to just quickly stop by the lounge to grab something light to eat and have a beverage so nice addition to the airport and nicely developed concept by SAS. read more
