It is always nice to kill some time in a relaxing, non-congested space, while grabbing a meal and beverage at the airport. There was a small self-service buffet that was constantly cleaned and and refreshed. Beer and soft drinks were on tap. Decent full bar for a airport lounge. Plenty of bathroom access in lounge. Plenty of seating options for individuals and smal groups. I would definitely visit here again next time.

The lines can be long during the summer time, but do move along. If you have an EU/Danish passport likely no line at all :-) It consists of one larger circular room facing the tarmac. Many seats/tables have outlets or USB charging ports. Buffet had warm lunch options, apart from some standard Danish darkbread and toppings. Also had Halal options. Great beer on tap, large wine section and good mix of hard alcoholic options. Together with soda, coffee and tea. Today the warm lunch options were a Thai Curry chicken stew with white rice (not bad at all), and I didn't try the Bean Chili (doesn't feel like a good idea for a long plane ride with many people).. Not as cramped and busy as the other Carlsberg lounge in the "shopping area". More spacing with chairs and probably not crowded due to the passport control and limited flight/gates nearby.

Environment was also a cut above the aforementioned lounge. We were here early during breakfast and they were serving traditional cold Danish & European breakfast dishes including cheese served with those alternative manual rotary wire cutting slicers I've only seen in Denmark. There was a long line for the espresso machine as the second coffee station was out of commission for 20 minutes which made for a wait. Food was decent enough for breakfast fare but I kept expectations low. The yogurt and fruit cups were really good. The staff were helpful as well as very efficient with bussing tables for the next guests. They did have self-service wine and draft beers on tap.

I'm not sure if I could have gone to both. The whole area looks modern. But it's not designed for comfort. The booth style seats are hard and no outlets. The tables have stools with zero backs. The food includes liver patte, rare cheese, pickled things, cold fish, egg salad, potato salad, lettuce, and some bread. This isn't the type of food I want to eat. It's also not the type you can eat a lot of. I understand it's simple but I'd rather have a turkey sandwich. There's no change or increase for meal times. Anyways soda and beer wise this is decent. 5 sodas: sprite, Coke Zero, Coke, 2 s.4 beers- carlsberg regular, original, NA, and an IPA

Our tickets on Lufthansa got us entry into the SAS Lounge…read more The lounge opened one hour before the first SAS flight of the morning. We went through the automated gates by scanning our boarding pass. Not sure what the difference was but to the left side was access to the main floor and to the right went upstairs. There was no obvious way to go between floors. Breakfast was already out and it had a small selection of breads, hard boiled egg, cold meats and veggies, hot oatmeal, yogurt and fruits. Only one coffee machine was working but all beer and wine taps were ready to go. Presentation was nice and food quality was decent. When finished one had to bus their own trays to the central carts. Decor inside was modern and spread out. We stayed in the dining area but there were workstations and a quieter area in the back facing the airplanes. A small conference room and a children's playroom were also available. I appreciated the abundance of power outlets. Overall a good way to relax and eat something before heading off to our flight to Frankfurt.

You get whisked by helpful agents into the FastTrack security (similar to Pre-TSA) into the SAS Business Lounge to the left after security checkin. While it shares with other providers like Air Canada, it can get crowded but most of the time, if you arrive early before your flight, you're not scrambling to settle down, get some wine/beer, munchies and plug in. But hey, after 15 min, you just become unplugged because there are other nice features to the lounge: comfy couches in the back, reading material (in various Euro languages also), drinks galore including alcoholic, nice organic fruit, attendant staff and helpful SAS agents who have alerted me that my flight was delayed! How did she know me? I checked in with her like a half hour ago. Silently impressed. Visits: 4 Tip: There are showers (must reserve one as soon as you get in) and they give amenity kits depending on what you need in the shower. Don't assume that you'll go from the lounge to your gate. Not so. Be aware that the business lounge is right before Denmark's Passport Control before all the boarding gates. Allow enough time to go through the lines as the lines can take 10 minutes to navigate.

I kept trying to put my finger on what I liked and I guess it comes down to the food and the comfortable seating arrangements. First the food. There is a kitchen area area stocked with all kinds of foods. Given I was there over two meal occasions- I had a chance to sample both the breakfast and lunch offerings. Freshly prepared soups, hot dogs, danish, all kinds of coffee drinks, oatmeal, entree salads, pasta salads, rice salads, cookies, brownies, chips and dip . . .pretty much enough food to keep you going no matter how long you are stuck in this airport. And they have these comfy chairs that you sink into and really have to pull yourself out of. The wifi is fast (get the code at the front desk) and there are plenty of newspapers and magazines to lose yourself in. And even the bathrooms were private and super clean. I don't travel SAS very often- but when I do, I'm happy to stop in their lounges around the world!

I'd been to Copenhagen before and had only vague memories of the airport, but we ended up spending a lot of time here on layovers this trip, definitely long enough to develop some opinions. Food options weren't great and we left the Carlsberg Aviator lounge within minutes, when we realized the kids were going to be a problem. That was after a hellish eleven-hour evening flight from Los Angeles, and my three-year-old son was completely loopy, irascible but also full of high-wire energy. I desperately looked up kid-friendly things to do in the Copenhagen airport and was pleased to find there were two indoor play areas. We went to both of them between our two layovers, and they were attractive in what felt like a Scandinavian way, wooden and well built and designed. They were good for some solid stretches of entertainment, though I admit my three-year-old got stuck up in a climbable "control tower" and I let him rot there while I sat and played games on my phone. The rest of the airport was nice, too, and the place seemed to run pretty smoothly. There were tons of small bathrooms, maybe even one at each gate, a system I hadn't seen before. Our flight out was through the E gates, which were somewhat remote, and that part of the airport was super quiet. No shopping and the only food option I found was a vending machine where I bought, of all things, a chicken teriyaki onigiri. Thankfully, one of the two play areas was right by our gate, and my boys passed the time going down a little slide and pretending to steer a stationary boat. I'd never recommend getting stuck at this or any airport with my children, but the Copenhagen airport was about as pleasant as it could've been, given the circumstances. I hope to fly there again, and preferably visit Copenhagen while I'm at it.

Sure you can pay double at another spot close to city center, but with easy train rides there from the AC you'll get a little walking exercise plus only spend a fraction of your hotel savings on transportation. Excellent views await on most floors, especially nice if you score a corner room. Add to your health-factor with a stroll, run, or bike ride across the street in the large green spaces next door. If it's too cold the exercise faculty is also spacious with a good variety of machines. Service was impeccable and hotel dining was tasty for a meal on-site. Plenty of amenities except what is the infatuation with instant coffee? But everything remained well-stocked and the room was comfortable. We will look forward to the next visit and would stay again.

But, with the stunning views of Copenhagen, modern vibe, unique architecture, even views of the water, downtown, old rooftops, windmills (yep)..... I'm impressed with this bar. There's really no other bar at this level and height to treat you to this panoramic experience. Drinks are not consistent so I've resolved myself to, aquavit, Schnapps, Danish/Sandinavian beer. Can't go wrong with those and if you're ok with the above this place is fun to end your day just before the sunsets at 10pm in summer. Service: It's common in Copenhagen to wave at your wait person to get attention, in a resto, a bar, a store. I used to think this is not good but it is what it is. Unless you are at a Michelin restaurant, wait staff do expect you to ask for help by waving them to come over or asking. It is a service philosophy that I've learned to accept. Visits: many Tip: You don't have to be a guest at the AC Bella Hotel to enjoy this bar. It's open after 10:30am - until 11pm. To get there, take 2 Bus lines or the metro M1 or M2 and get off on the Bella Center stop. Photo Ops during sunsets and evening from the metro station/car as you leave the Bella Center stop.
