First of all, we weren't too impressed with the lack of help when we were trying to check in our luggage for our Copenhagen to Berlin flight. We had a question about something (I can no longer remember what it was about), but the SAS employee, who was sitting at the counter, doing absolutely nothing (because it was self-checkin only, so she had nothing to do) refused to help us. I really don't understand the point of self-checkin--it's not faster or easier for the customers, and it's not saving SAS any money in wages if there is going to be staff there anyway. If they are being paid to stand there, why can't they answer a damn question?! Second of all, they don't even do a quick tidy between flights. Of course I don't expect them to do a heavy duty cleaning between each flight, which is unnecessary anyway, but surely they can take 15 minutes to do a quick walk through of the plane. I was incredibly unimpressed, and pretty disgusted, to find a coffee cup and spilled coffee all over my seat on our Berlin to Oslo via Stockholm flight. I brought it to the flight attendant's attention, and she told me to wait until everyone was seated, and she would re-seat me in an empty seat. However, I did not want to change seats because I had an aisle seat and did not want to risk being seated between two random people, and I wanted to remain seated beside my sister. So I demanded that the flight attendant clean it up, as well as bring me a blanket to sit on, as I didn't want to risk staining my clothes. I would have given SAS another star if it weren't for the coffee incident. It's pretty fucking disgusting to find coffee spilled all over your seat. I hope the asshole who thought it was perfectly acceptable to dump coffee all over an airplane seat lost his luggage or missed his connecting flight.

Management needs to take a good look at how bad this service is as they continually push you to doing everything 'on line', and then the online process never works properly!! Fix the problems online or hire enough staff to manage the phone calls!

    I BELIEVE I HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER …read more One of the stuff ( as a supervisor position) providing me wrong info caused me a lot of financial, emotional, time consuming and many damages. I have received nothing yet from the company, after I complained but an written apology!!!!!!!!!!! This action will not be able to cover any cost for any damages i got due to that info. This is not acceptable at all!!!!!! I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!! Be carful from the company stuff and procedures because it seems they need more training. I booked my ticket based on the review that saying they are pet friendly Airline. I paid extra to have a good experience with my pet. But based on my real experience, they are zero experienced with dealing with pet issues. Please don't wast your money and energy on thier tickets. I will never book Lufthansa again and I will advise people to avoid it. And soon I am aiming to sue this company, and publish what happened in all reviews in all platforms to let people aware for that especially who owns a pet and cho them to get a good travel experience. The food served was top of the best experiences ever and in top considering taste, presentation and smell. We hade the fish alternative - salmon, cod and shrimp with a fennel mash and also the fillet mignon and a lamb rack. All served with a fresh salad. As a dessert a small selection of fresh good cheese. We have seldom had this classy food, presentation and service on a flight. Very much in our liking. The food was not pressed down in a porcelain cup but beautifully presented. It was great experience. Top notch and I have to go back many years in a 1st class flight to be able to compare. The service was very good/pleasant as well,indeed. The seat comfort in business class was very good and much much better than a 1st class flown recently domestically with an American Star Alliance Member. However we can not understand that you in business class have to pay for WiFi!? Increase the ticket fare a bit and have it "complementary". This was the JFK/Munich part of the journey. The part Munich/ARN a shorter part of the trip was also alright - more in the line/class of other European airlines serving European destination. Food was good and the seat comfort etc. as in economy class with no screens/entertainment possibilities and no power connections for charging. We do also like the Lufthansa's lounges. Open, clean and good food. Lufthansa is really one of our favorite airlines.
